Evening, ladies

I'm officially in the two-week-wait! First full cycle of tracking ovulation and I realise my surge is very short (screenshot attached)! Only one dark line on Wednesday eve, then back to light lines. Luckily I was testing twice a day, otherwise would've missed it. Bbt rose this morning, which confirms ovulation.

After some Googling, I learned that the length of your surge doesn't correlate with the window of fertility, so a short surge doesn't mean the egg is released any sooner, or is viable for any less time.

Where are you all in your cycle and how are you feeling?

Exciting times! So pleased you were able to catch it! Keeping everything crossed for you.
What app/ovulation sticks do you use? Xx

After 8 high readings on CB tests I finally got my peak today on CD16 🎉
Only cycle two for me so still new to learning when I ovulate etc but still in with a chance this month which is good to know x

I'm waiting to ovulate too CD10 but still feels an age because late ovulating usually.
I think next weekend will be optimal but DP running a marathon Sunday and that's going to be my peak probably dammit 😣
when does every BD for optimal results ?

9DPO for me… took a test with FMU and BFN. ☹️ I have pre menstrual sore boobs so I think I’m out…. ☹️

I’m 9dpo and a BFN too but it’s still early.
I’ve definitely had strange symptoms this month. Puked randomly on 6dpo and my sense of smell is much more sensitive than usual. Last night had some pinching pains and this morning a big temp rise. 🥺🙏

It's still really early at 9dpo. I had a negative at 9dpo and positive at 10dpo previously!

I usually do 2-3 days before ovulation. This cycle I also did day of ovulation.

Last cycle (chemical pregnancy) we only did once, 3 days before ov!

Hey everyone, TTC 2 after an ectopic pregnancy last June, had surgery and lost a tube. First time tracking ovulation and think im on CD10 today on a 28-29 cycle. Just got this and thought it was a dark line but the Premom app says it's low. What is considered a promising LH level ? Tia x

@Favofit from the naked eye I’d have thought that was deff peak, I’d dtd to cover urself. What level was pre mom putting on it? I don’t think my peak was even as dark as urs tbh

The app says 0.7 and says it's low. As it's my fist time testing I started the day after last AF ended (hopefully that was the correct way of doing this) . I can't imagine the line been any darker but will keep testing and dtd x

I had a fertility appointment with dh at private clinic today. Good news is dh sperm in normal. I am awaiting amh blood test results and the nurse who did the scan pointed out I have a fibroid which she said may be a conern as it is in location which might make implantation tricky. Not fully sure what that means but need to await more information in couple weeks. For now I am not holding out much hope for being pregnant this month..

@Un7breakable thank you, yes I hope so. It is good to know there may be an answer for why I am not getting pregnant which hopefully can be resolved rather than 'unexplained'. That I think would make me feel less rush with ttc if I know there is a reason why it's not happening.

Ladies.. in a turn of events.. I thought I ovulated on Thursday as I got one short-lasting high OPK on Weds, which coincided with my app prediction. My bbt also rose the next day but quickly went back to pre-ov temps (36.2) and has stayed low!

Opks have since been negative but I've just got another positive! I wonder if the chemical last month affected ovulation and my body failed to ovulation on first go?

Will keep updating
