Hi ladies,

First month catching positive LH to confirm my ovulation. We DTD two days before but unfortunately not on ovulation day. I'm hoping I'm still in with a chance. Currently 1DPO. Love anyone to join me for the painful waiting game of testing and also symptom spot/share stories of successful pregnancies.

Sorry to hear still no BFN - I'm hoping you just implanted late! I'm doing OK. Extremely anxious for Mondays test too. Feeling nauseas but that fluctuates, very tired and my boobs are big. I'm very bloated too. The thing that's confusing me is that I got quite a dark good line on the morning of my blood test with first response rapid. I've read that the sensitivity of this test is 100? - so surely if I got a line with this my blood test should be higher? Does anyone know what the sensitivity is of the rapid one?!

Is this quite a dark LH for 1 day after AF due?

I just did a clearblue rapid which are 25 Hcg. It came back clearly positive. And whilst I was doing that I realised I have some brown discharge / spotting. I'm so worried now this means I'm going to miscarry ☹️

No red just brown... Is this normal?

It could be the start of AF or just random spotting. As long as it dosent get heavier and turn red I'd say. Fingers crossed its the latter!! Hope your OK .

@BABYPRAYING I'm not sure how dark it's supposed to be before AF, sorry no help 🤷‍♀️

@Pinkmoon23 the early pregnancy unit told me brown and pink are good colours, if that helps

Well ladies...AF now 2 days late. Still BFN 😫 I just wish I would start my AF so can get onto the next cycle

Hey guys thanks for your replies yesterday. The brown discharge didn't get any darker or heavier and I think for now has stopped. So thankful for that. Trying to manage my anxiety with tomorrow's test results coming up and trying to remember the number still might be very low, if Hcg only doubles every 48-72 hours. Really just want some answers but I hope so badly it's good answers.

Just putting a photo of all my tests here to remind myself they did get darker. I haven't done another since 19dpo as I'm too worried. Please keep me in your well wishes/fingers crossed/prayers for bloods back tomorrow if that's not too much to ask. I'd super appreciate it, thank you ❤️

@LeopardLover I got 3+ on clearblue digital today at 21dpo so that's me done with the tests. Just got to leave my body to it and hope for the best.
As I've has 2 chemicals the midwife ordered bloods for tomorrow and if there ok I'll be booked in for a 7 week scan and hopefully see a heartbeat 🤞
Where are you on your cycle now?

My numbers have more more than tripled, they're at 65 now 🥰🥰🥰

Hope we all join you on the pregnancy journey soon. I got my test results, all looked normal. I didn't do some tests like autoimmune ones as they were expensive, so we will put it to being unlucky for now, and try this cycle again 🤞I'm taking bunch of supplements and my Dr recommended aspirin 75mg as it's very low cost and can help, I'm also doing acupuncture every week, so hoping it works out this time.

@Pinkmoon23 I really don't want to worry you, but I had HCG 68 at dpo 17, and the doctor said I should miscarry soon, but I didn't have symptoms by then already. Can you ask for another repeat? One thing that worried me was ectopic with 2 of my chemicals. I'm sorry, I really hope I am not worrying you unnecessary but I thought it's good to suggest to push for more support from GP.. tripling HCG sounds good though, I hope everything turns out well.

@PeacefulD thank you for the reply. I just can't take anymore worrying about this mentally to be honest. It's really not good for me or the baby, I've driven myself mad with it 😔 I don't think my heart can take hearing anymore stories that didn't work out. I know it's a lower number but the Dr said she wasn't concerned as the number has tripled and that's what their looking for, I may have just ovulated later. I am however getting more brown discharge again. All I know is that today I am pregnant and Hcg can only increase at a certain rate so really I can just try and relax and enjoy this for a while. If I miscarry then I miscarry. Sorry if this sounds grumpy, I'm just so mentally and emotionally all over the place. It's been torture not being able to enjoy this pregnancy at all so far.

@Pinkmoon23 I'm so sorry if I came across insensitive. I was trying to be supportive by sharing my own worries that I had at the time when everyone on mumsnet was saying everything is fine. Everything is probably fine, please disregard my thoughts, they were coming from a good place but I shouldn't have said it anyway.

Brown discharge is not a bad thing at all, I had that in my first (successful) pregnancy for 5 weeks in the first trimester, they only stopped in week 8 for me.

When I was going mad, I got this phone app called Expectful for stress management while TTC. I found it quite useful, even this cycle when I wasn't TTC.

I think your comment here is VERY insensitive. Pinkmoon was clearly happy and content with her results and didn't need a negative story as a response. Please think before you comment whether you feel you are being helpful or not.

@PeacefulD aw please don't worry I know that you were coming from a place of care, I really do. And I understand why! Hormones and anxiety just not helping my mood at the moment. Please don't feel you have to leave the thread, I honestly know you weren't meaning anything by it.
