1DPO - Anyone want to wait with me ☺

Hi ladies,

First month catching positive LH to confirm my ovulation. We DTD two days before but unfortunately not on ovulation day. I'm hoping I'm still in with a chance. Currently 1DPO. Love anyone to join me for the painful waiting game of testing and also symptom spot/share stories of successful pregnancies.

I appreciate the kind words after my last post :) feeling quite grumpy today and have a little bit of spotting. Wish I could tell if it were implantation or period! Might just test everyday til af. Felt really cold all day at work too, when everyone else thought it was warm

@Kiwiburgh I did the same last month and took a test in the middle of the night! Hopefully it will be your month :)

I'll be 10dpo tomorrow so will test first thing before work 😬

Feeling heavy and slightly crampy, boobs a bit sore, exhausted (as usual), and a bit brain foggy today. I had strong cold and cough symptoms this morning, but they've disappeared now which is odd. I also don't have much of an appetite which is really unusual for me week before AF, usually I'm absolutely ravenous. Hoping this all means something!!

I doubt you guy can see anything but I thought I'd post it anyway. It's super faint but deffo there. I might buy more today and test tonight and hope it's not an indent

I can see something I think. Very similar to mine. Fingers crossed for you. I'm just hoping my FMU test will be darker and give me my BFP. Iv had mind aches/cramping but read that's normal at 11DPO

@BABYPRAYING I wish I waited until 12dpo now, at least if it's actually there it would be darker and we'd have a more definite answer. Hopefully your FMU gives a stronger line!!

Is this #1 for you both? I have a 6 (almost 7) year old son, so quite an age gap! I'm 34 (35 in September) so really feeling the pressure 😕

@Pinkmoon23 yes number 1 for me. Did you test early with your other pregnancies or have any symptoms?

@BABYPRAYING yeah I'm going to test this evening, it's only 7am here so I've got a while to wait :/ im not expecting it to be darker so soon but even if the line is the same at least it would rule out indent hopefully.

I'm 33 but already feeling outside pressure. didn't think of myself as a sensative Sally but people have been bothering me a lot.As soon as DS turned 1 it feels like everyone is making comment about how I need to have a second now and that I shouldn't wait anylonger. I just want to shout f@#k off at them 😩

@BABYPRAYING baby #1 was a complete surprise. The only thing I remember being different (not that I was tracking or paying much attention to my body) was extreme tiredness the last few days before my period was due. I remember thinking "oh I must be coming down with something" because I was tired in a different way I'd experienced before in my late 20s. (now I'm tired all the time 😅) So I checked my period app and noticed I was 3 days late, got a blazing BFP on an IC!

@Kiwiburgh I know what you mean! It's so hard especially reading all the blurb about pregnancy over 35. Considered bloody geriatric which I think is ridiculous 😂. Makes me feel like so old!!

With my 1st I tested 12dpo aprox . Wasn't using ovulation tests, only by cm . I had 0 symptoms from memory. This was my progression with him. It's hard to see the 12dpo line properly because it's so gross 🙈

@BABYPRAYING @Kiwiburgh Eeek! I can definitely see faint lines on your tests 😍 Crossing my fingers for you both! @BABYPRAYING from what I've read Boots are pretty reliable and aren't known for indents 🤞🏻

Geriatric mum over here at 37 🤣 Thankfully I don't get any age comments, most of my friends/family members are having kids in their mid to late thirties! I only feel old when I hear younger women say they feel old 😅👵🏻

@xLJ1990x I'm a bit clueless with tests, I've always just used FRERs and a clear blue digital later on. Never heard of CB triple check but love the sound of it 😅

My mother in law makes her own so I was supposed to pick up a scoby but keep forgetting 🙈 although it requires a crazy amount of sugar 😅 well done for getting out of the habit! I had appetiser so I'm failing a little ha ha. Hopefully that'll be it for a while! I'm tempted to just give it all away 🤣 how are you feeling? Spotting at 9DPO is a great sign!

@LeopardLover A lot of my school friends have older children, but my uni friends are all having children around now too :) The CB triple check is just 2 ultra early clear blue tests and the digital one with weeks indicator. My bfp last month was with the digital and was at 11 dpo, so have no idea if it would have been a squinter.

Appletiser is delicious. Something I used to do was mix fizzy water with either vimto or orange juice. Haven't done that for a while actually, might do that this week. Tbh I felt quite grumpy after work, but a good dinner and watching some of bridgerton - the new one about Queen Charlotte helped :) as did your comment about the spotting being a good sign. My mind went right back to last month. For about a week I had spotting and my mood was very dependent on whether the spotting was better/worse that time when I went for a pee. It hasn't got any heavier yet so that's nice.

@Pinkmoon23 I'm also 34, definitely feeling that pressure especially because my son is nearly 2...

Guys I got a bfp!
The first response must be super sensative because the second line is almost non existent!
I've had a chemical and early miscariage before so Here's hoping it's a sticky little bean!
Because I now have 6 frers I'll be keeping a progression until it's as dark as the control 🤞

I went to bed with a bit of a headache and woke up 5am with possibly a migraine and now feel very nauseated... Think I can see a line today though! Will do another tomorrow to check. The darker one I messed with the brightness of the image

I got a vvfl on FRER with FMU 10dpo today. It's a shadow of a line so I'm not holding out hope at all, I feel like it's probably an indent. I'm going to test again tonight and I'll keep you posted!

I feel so unwell this morning my cold symptoms are well and truly back, sore throat, the works. We have a school trip too, not sure how I'm going to make it through the day urgh.
