Hi ladies,

Month 10 of TTC #2. I had a chemical pregnancy last cycle.

I have a one year old daughter who took almost a year and a half to conceive. I previously had a chemical pregnancy not long before she was conceived.

Really hoping this cycle will bring good news ❤️

Please feel free to join if your ovulation is around 26th/27th April and/or AF due around 7th/8th/9th May.

Wishing luck to us all xx

@Bethpotter111 that is super confusing! Hope AF doesn’t make an appearance for you!

I’m on 8dpo and AF usually arrives somewhere between 11 and 13 dpo so have quite a few more days to wait. Hate this limbo!

Bethpotter111 · 04/05/2023 14:13

@Lilothblos thank you! I'm am feeling quite crampy this afternoon so hope is fading I think :( trying to keep the hope hope have you got any major symptoms?

ar91 · 04/05/2023 14:24

I wish I had the same self control as you all. I caved and tested this afternoon and of course BFN 🙈 Not sure why I did it tbh at 8dpo and in the afternoon but there we go..

Hope everyone feels a bit better over the next couple of days. This journey can be so draining and it's no wonder we have our down days.
It takes some bloody serious strength to keep picking yourself back up, and that's what we do! 💕 xx

Bethpotter111 · 04/05/2023 14:27

@ar91 it's so hard I'm at home today as little one is unwell so it's all I can think about! I can't take my mind off it at all but feeling quite crampy this afternoon so dreading af maybe :) have you got any symptoms? X

ar91 · 04/05/2023 14:35

@Bethpotter111 it's the worst when you're at home and don't have as many distractions!
Do you normally get crampy before AF?

Symptoms that I don't normally get are shooting pains in my cervix the last few days but stopped today. And then today I've had a horrible metallic taste (I think I have had this once or twice before randomly but don't know when in my cycle). I don't think I'm pregnant tbh but you never know.
I'm just preparing myself for a supersized glass of wine if AF does decide to come!

Bethpotter111 · 04/05/2023 14:37

@ar91 yes definitely the worst when I know I've got tests in the draw too 😂 I usually only get crampy when I'm on af not before so 💁 and this pinching feeling is new too never had that or this heartburn before. Oh well fingers crossed how long have you been trying for?

ar91 · 04/05/2023 14:45

@Bethpotter111 well that's definitely something to give you hope then if you're getting different symptoms to normal! 🤞🏽 I hope it's your month.

We've been trying for #1 for 17months this month and never had a BFP. So although I always convince myself it's happening I don't know that I necessarily believe I'll see 2 lines.

Did it take a long time for you to fall pregnant with your other babies?

TTCing · 04/05/2023 14:46

Welcome, @Bethpotter111 ! Well done for holding out until 9dpo! 10dpo wouldn’t be a bad point to test, if you can wait until fmu in the morning! Those symptoms sound promising xx

i wonder who will get a bfp this thread! @Lilothblos ! There are always a few! Think we have about 15 or so people on the thread?! Roughly xx

Thank you @TTCing might have to cave and test in the morning but only got a first responded rapid result so not sure if they will show anything up or not!

TTCing · 04/05/2023 14:56

I am very much likely to cave tomorrow at 9dpo - probably too early. In my previous pregnancies, I had positives on 12DPO! @Bethpotter111

I’ve got three first response early result tests waiting to be opened 😂

Bethpotter111 · 04/05/2023 14:57

@ar91 fingers crossed it will happen soon! First baby literally the first try second baby after implant 13 months with one loss in between and now this is baby number 3 and I was on the Depo!

ar91 · 04/05/2023 15:01

@TTCing 😂 where on earth have you found them?! It seems like they're gold dust right now haha. Tried to pick some up today but none anywhere! Fingers crossed for you tomorrow!

@Bethpotter111 wow, that's enough to put you off using contraception isn't it if you plan for more babies! How frustrating after being so quick first time.

Bethpotter111 · 04/05/2023 15:18

Just went to the loo and there was slightly brown tinted discharge I'm guessing this is a bad sign for af? :( il have the wine ready!

Lilothblos · 04/05/2023 15:20

@TTCing really hope we get some bfps soon, it’s so nice seeing them come in! Would be lovely to get some on the thread tomorrow.

I‘ve made my dh hide the tests to reduce my temptation! 😂

Lilothblos · 04/05/2023 15:31

@Bethpotter111 do you usually get that before AF? Or could there be a chance that’s its implantation bleeding? Hope it’s not AF for you

Bethpotter111 · 04/05/2023 15:37

@Lilothblos never had it before!! But feel really achy so I'm not sure what to think will keep you updated :)

ar91 · 04/05/2023 15:44

@Lilothblos I got my husband to hide my opks cos was driving me made and by the evening I'd made him give them back hahaha.
You have great determination! 😂

@Bethpotter111 could definitely be implantation at 9DPO so I hope that's what this is x

TTCing · 04/05/2023 15:47

@Bethpotter111 wow! You have a great conception rate for the first two! Brown discharge might be implantation bleeding?

@ar91 i got them off Amazon! Hope they’re genuine haha.

ar91 · 04/05/2023 15:55

@TTCing thanks! Just off to spend a fortune on Amazon 😂

Really wish I hadn't taken that test earlier as I now just feel really pissed off!

missmoosh · 04/05/2023 16:06

@ar91 made me chuckle when I read you had tested, it's so hard to have the willpower not to test though! My issue is one of you will get a line on a test and then I will go off and try and it will be negative, so burying head in sand for another 4 days at least!

@bethpotter111 9dpo could be implantation bleeding, especially if you don't normally have this, are your cycles normally regular?

Still nothing out of the ordinary for me, boobs have stopped feeling like balloons and sore, so I reckon I am defo out, as this always happens at this point in my cycle. 😔

Bethpotter111 · 04/05/2023 16:13

Unfortunately since I came off the Depo 14 months ago my periods didn't start till December and were abit over the place im not sure if you would call them normal and not? Any advice would be great :)

ar91 · 04/05/2023 16:33

@Bethpotter111 have you been confirming ovulation with opks? Your cycle length seems quite regular from the pics you've sent but I guess pinpointing exactly when you're ovulating would be good if you're not already.

@missmoosh glad it gave you a laugh 😅 I wish I could just wait it out but it turns out I'm v impatient!
Really frustrating about your symptoms but as we know, anything could happen over the next few days 🤞🤞

Bethpotter111 · 04/05/2023 16:58

These are my last two ovulation cycle tests so been tracking with the app however I start my af the two times when I was only 8/9 Dpo that isn't right is it? Sorry for all the questions so nice to actually be able to talk to people about it! I find it hard my best friend just had a baby when we were trying the same time and now my sister in law and cousin is pregnant 🙈🫠😂

@Bethpotter111 well you're definitely getting positive OPK so good sign that you're ovulating. I don't know much about having a short luteal phase but maybe it's worth booking a GP appointment to have bloods taken? Progesterone levels etc.

I really feel for you, it's so hard when people close to you are pregnant/having babies especially when you've been trying as long/longer. In the same situ here and it's gutting even though you're happy for them 🤍

missmoosh · 04/05/2023 18:43

@Bethpotter111 yeah you seem to be ovulating at a similar time in your cycle its just the luteal phase is a little short. I have heard it can take quite a long time to stabilise after depo? Would say its always worth speaking with a doctor though just to check it out 🙂

@ar91 Hahaha, well I'm so convinced I'm out I am having a glass or two of wine...oops lol absolutely everything is now pointing to progesterone drop, so even though I know there is still time, I actually think af is gonna show up early this month
