TWW - Short(ish) LP

[TTC12023]

Hi ladies! I was just wondering anyone wanted to join me in the TWW? According to my apps I was due to O tomorrow (10th, CD23) but have ended up O'ing on Thursday (06th, CD19 ) so currently 3DPO. Thankfully had been BD but it's not going to be enough we don't think as only caught -3, -2, +1. This is our third month trying so not too long but I would love some company to stop me going mad, I only have a 10-12 day LP which is stressing me out as it doesn't feel long enough but apparently it is!! . Baby dust to you all!

Have spoken to DH (finally) about it and he's trying to get me test Friday 🫣😱🤯

Hey everyone I have got a very faint line on a cheapie Hcg test 🙈🙈 I did a clear blue it said not pregnant but I'm assuming that's because hcg is still low 🙈🙈

@Babydustthisyear ohh yayy!! Cheapie tests tend to be less sensitive so that's amazing you're getting a line. Digitals are really not all that sensitive and usually take a while to pick up so not surprised

@Ttcmumma I'm shaking so hard not to get super excited Iv never had a hint of a line before 🙈🙈

I chickened our again this morning but I'm only 12DPO; this is long for me 😬😬

@TTC12023 thank you still in disbelief, I'm approx 12 Dpo too I just had a real gut feeling to test lol it's negative on clear blue 🙈🙈

@Babydustthisyear my gut told me to test yesterday I just couldn't bring myself to! My body tells me AF is on her way today but temp says different. WHY are the symptoms the same 🫠
I'll wait it out until FMU tomorrow on a FRER but knowing me I'll still chicken out 🫣

@TTC12023 aghhhhh the suspense lol I know drives me crazy I got AF symptoms last week when I knew it was too early, they have stopped now, my symptoms have been frequent needing to wee, constipation (sorry) and today it's headaches with feeling a little off (lightheaded) 🙈

Welcoming all the symptoms I won't be complaining at all!

@Babydustthisyear omg I'm getting headaches! So unusual for me as well because I drink so much water - frequent peeing but so totally normal for me!

I felt really odd yesterday but feel fine today although hungry - again an AF symptom 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️. The other odd symptom I have is tingling nipples, it's to oddest sensation but comes and goes.

I wish AF would hurry up or someone could look in to the future for me 🤣

@TTC12023 I know even though I have a faint line I'm still like is it real am I really pregnant lol I think it won't feel real until I get positive on digital then il relax a little lol

@BB2818 thank you I have watched all of the threads past few months and my journey has not been long at all this as cycle 4 for us but it felt longer, I'm sending all the positive vibes. Xx

Well ladies I think I'm out 😞 I'm not sure if I feel sad or not; I think I do. I know we're not out until AF shows but temp dropped this morning and stark white on a dip test with FMU, my only chance is that the test wasn't sensitive enough I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️ I used boots own which are 25mIU/mL (I think). So confusing though as I'm 3 days 'late' but logically know that sometimes it doesn't happen until 14DPO 😩
Just looking for a hand hold I think.....

@TTC12023 hugs to you, I know everyone says wait until AF but sometimes you just know, it's not an easy journey no matter how long it's been every month feels like such a long time. I hope your ok, be kind to yourself. Xxx

Thanks @Babydustthisyear ❤️ on the positive side I've made it to 13DPO, unheard of! Not sure how that happened as I didn't change anything this month. Once AF shows I think DH and I need to have a talk as this not planning/planning/seeing where it goes is hard work as it's all on me. We've started the conversation but it'll be a while until he's fully on board with 'planning' - he would rather we just see where it takes us. 🙄

I know your the same as me 13 Dpo, u never know what can happen.

Even though I have a faint line I tested twice again this morning to make sure it's still there and it's lighter, I won't be able to settle until I get it on a digital.

If I had of got a negative test my plan was that I wasn't going to track ovulation I was just going to DTD every other day during my fertile window.

I know what you mean it's good to have some kind of a plan to make you feel like your giving it every opportunity. How many cycles have you been trying for?xx

@Babydustthisyear I was praying for a faint line but alas 😩 positive news that it's still pink for you 🥰 when would a digi show?

My fertile week moved this month to the week before, thankfully I was checking CM etc which is what alerted me to the fact my app was so out even though I temp and use NC 🙄
I think I might stop using the thermometer, I only started using it to make sure I was O'ing as I can have such weird months 🫠

I'm not sure if we're DTD enough but it's always at least 3-4 times in fertile week and people get pregnant with less!!

@TTC12023 exactly people do get pregnant with a lot less... I always say if I just see something il be happy which I am but will feel much better with digi.

My line isn't pink it's more just like a shadow but its there every time I test so hopefully that stays and it does say the colour on test can vary so I'm assuming it's very very early as I am literally only 3weeks which is crazy that I even know. AF was due Sunday I might try Friday again. I don't have any First response just clear blue digital ones x

I'm praying that AF doesn't show herself today and my temp will go back up tomorrow but wishful thinking I think.

Ah well - onwards and upwards! We've only been 'trying' since my cycle started in Jan, which irritatingly was one of my doggy ones 🙄, fairly standard last month although only a 9 day LP (son not that standard at all) and now this month where I've made it to 13 days!

I'm trying not to let it consume me but it's hard. DH has been great though and said whilst he doesn't want to 'time' anything (I assume that's me telling him as I always know 🤭) he's happy to make tweaks to aid, i.e. preseed, vitamins, cut the booze down etc.

If AF does show up I'm going shopping in H&B 🤣

Do any of you have any vitamin recommendations?

Partners are honestly the biggest stress 😅 I was speaking to mine last night and I don't think he actually wants to try anymore. He's got a 'maybe we aren't supposed to' mind set with the miscarriage earlier in the year and now he's hanging onto everything getting more expensive and being happy with the one 😭. Honestly distraught and just hoping he either changes his mind or as bad as it sounds... It happens anyway. Is that awful of me! 😮

That's sad if him to say especially if you were on the same page; maybe it's affecting him too and he's sadder than he's letting on?

Sorry if you've already said but have you been trying long? It's a blessing that you have one but I can imagine the pull to have another is strong.

Honestly why is it so difficult when we're told not to have unprotected sex for so many years as 'it's so easy to get pregnant' 😒

@TTC12023 I've wanted another since ds was 2 😅 he's nearly 5. But I actively stopped using birth control and checking ovulation etc march 2022, fell pregnant in the October but lost baby this January. There's a part of me that NEEDS to get pregnant again before my due date July 16th 😔 as silly as that sounds. Trying is the only thing keeping me going and my son knew I was pregnant and asks me almost everyday 'is there another baby in your belly mummy? Am I going big brother?' he obviously doesn't know I'm trying but I also feel I'm failing him.

I know it's crazy! My first was an 'accident' all be it a happy one and his pregnancy was smooth besides a few Utis so I never would have assumed only 5 years later I'd miscarry and not be able to concieve so easily 😔. I'm grateful I have him of course and I probably would have been able to settle with just the one if I didn't miscarry but having 3-4 months of thinking I'll be a mum of 2, he will have a sibling etc I can't let go of the idea of another baby 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Ttcmumma it doesn't sound silly at all, I completely understand why you'd want to be pregnant before your due date. Loosing a bub at 3-4 months must have been horrible and I'm really sorry 😞

Don't let go, maybe try and explain to DH that his comments hurt you as you're just as upset as well?
