TWW - Short(ish) LP

Hi ladies! I was just wondering anyone wanted to join me in the TWW? According to my apps I was due to O tomorrow (10th, CD23) but have ended up O'ing on Thursday (06th, CD19 ) so currently 3DPO. Thankfully had been BD but it's not going to be enough we don't think as only caught -3, -2, +1. This is our third month trying so not too long but I would love some company to stop me going mad, I only have a 10-12 day LP which is stressing me out as it doesn't feel long enough but apparently it is!! . Baby dust to you all!

@BB2818 according to my app I'm 2 days late but my cycle last month was 30 days and I'm cd31 so would make sense to start af today. However I did ovulate a day or two earlier this month.. so confusing!

Tell me about it. It’s not easy to understand. I was thinking if I didn’t ovulate until day 20 - then I am actually only 12dpo. But I have ovulated later on ie day 20 and still had AF on day 27-29.

I am emotional today - had a good old cry over nothing earlier 🙃🙌🏻

I'm trying to ignore the pain/dull ache/pulling sensation I have on one side low down (the same side I O'd on). I've never felt it before but trying SO hard not to read anything in to it! Bolted awake this morning at 3am and thought AF had started as I'm sure I felt a gush and then.... well nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️

Been waiting all day for AF as I'm 10DPO but nothing yet and temp still high but expecting it to drop tomorrow!

@Ttcmumma all sounds positive! Maybe the test you have aren't sensitive enough?

@BB2818 that all sounds very positive for you also! We'll be testing together if my body can hold out until 12DPO, only once in 10 months of tracking have I made it there and I wasn't TTC then! I'd be officially 'late' for me.

@TTC12023 I removed my copper coil march 2022, fell pregnant October 2022 and miscarried January 2023 so besides while I was pregnant ive been trying for the past year.
Before the pregnancy I really wanted a second child but I felt a little more relaxed. Since the miscarriage I feel such a strong urge to be pregnant again and also because I feel I let my son down. After telling him as his Christmas present that he was finally going to be a big brother (he's been asking for as long as he's been capable to) and him realising Christmas 2023 there would be 2 of them... Then having to tell him the baby died and his little voice telling me 'so it will just be me again next christmas' I wanted desperately to be pregnant again within the timeframe that would fullfill that for him. I know when he's older he will understand its not my fault. I guess a 2023 baby was never on the cards for me. From this cycle onwards due dates would be in 2024 so if I could kindly get my rainbow baby soon that'd be great 😅

@Ttcmumma I'm sorry to hear about your loss 😞 please don't feel like it's your fault, I know this probably isn't helpful but sometimes it's not meant to be. I hope you get your rainbow baby soon ❤️

I'm TTC #1 and naively thought it would happen quickly (that's what we're all told right 🙄) and now I'm freaking there's something wrong even though my logical brain tells me there's a small chance every month 🤦🏻‍♀️

Stopped my pill December 2021, actively trying since March 2022. Early miscarriage May/June 2022. Just finding it so difficult the last couple of cycles 😢

@BB2818 I'm sorry to hear about your loss also 😞 my cousin and SIL both had early losses and despite its commonality it doesn't ever make it easier 😩

I had a termination many many years ago because I was too young and found myself in a very stupid situation but sometimes it feels like karma even though it's not been long.

I feel for you going month after month, it must be very draining ❤️

@TTC12023 my first was an 'accident' so I definitely anticipated it being easier than this too. Also naively assumed my pregnancy would be smooth and result in a baby this coming July seeing as my son's pregnancy was so smooth. I also worry that having my son at 21/22 was easy and now things have changed and I'm only 27!!! It's silly how fast our brain panic really I'm sure we are all fine. Isn't the highest percentage per month like 30% chance of conceiving? So really the odds are quite low I don't know how some women concieve so easily! How long have you been trying?

@BB2818 * *seems we starting trying the same time! Sorry for your loss ♥️ it's so hard thinking you're having a baby only for it to be ripped away from you. Hang in there, I'm struggling too but we will get there!

@Ttcmumma this will be cycle 3 so really not long at all but I've just turned 33 so it's in the back of my head I've left it late but we only married last year and weren't in a position to TTC before honestly despite my concerns. We did have some fertility tests a couple of years ago at my insistence to check things over, everything was fine but I was 30 🙄 I'm sure things can change in a heartbeat!

30% sounds about right decreasing as you get older 😑

Sadness is setting in today 😔 little ones back at school, AF reminds me that I should have been about 3 months from meeting my baby by now & another failed/wasted month 😔.

@Ttcmumma I'm sorry you're feeling sad today, it must be heartbreaking and I can only imagine how you're feeling 💐

I was going to test this morning but chickened out 😂I didn't want to see a negative and waste a test tbh! 11DPO today which, as I mentioned up thread, has happened only once in 10 months of tracking but I have also had a 12 day LP. My official stats in NC show me a 11+-1, so could be later today/tomorrow. I was planning on testing tomorrow but in the office so will leave until Wednesday if AF doesn't show - feels like a lifetime away! I have NO symptoms though (aside from that niggly ache yesterday all day), I'm pretty sure I'm out. My temp dropped today but only to 36.82, history shows AF shows up in the 36.70s 🙄

I'm trying to be calm but anxious at the same time!

@TTC12023 ohh I dont know how you are managing to wait I was testing everyday like a mad woman 🤣🤣. A lot of people on other threads who got their bfps actually had no symptoms so maybe it's a good sign! I had loads of symptoms plus new ones I've never ever had before and clearly it meant nothing lol. Temp dropping sucks but who knows it may even increase again tomorrow! My temp doesn't drop until af has already arrived so really likes to mess with me 😅 got everything crossed that we will get a pic of your bfp on Wednesday x

@Ttcmumma I think because I was burnt the past two months thinking I was pregnant and tests were white as anything! Usually AF turns up the day my temp drops (very helpful actually!) but not always!

I'm optimistic but trying to keep a lid on it as I don't want to be overly disappointed

Worst case we will all be in it again together next month! Hoping you leave us behind tho haha

@TTC12023 thanks for checking in I'm hanging in here lol I have been feeling so frustrated but I know nothing I can do until AF is late. I have been spotting from Tuesday and it stopped yesterday. AF is due Sunday no other symptoms yet. Last week I had a lot of dull cramps and a little mood swings yesterday lol, it's been the spotting that has bothered me as it's not my normal, I spot like 2 days before AF so I am questioning everything lol.

Still spotting today. I know that means AF will start today or tomorrow. I had a little last night. But onto the next cycle.

@BB2818 yes let's definitely keep this thread going. I believe we will all get our positives before too long and I'd love to see the journey. The closer together we all get them the better as then we could come back sometimes to update on baby bumps! Definitely hoping for positive from the other two very very soon. I can't wait for Wednesday I don't know how @TTC12023 is waiting 🤣
