Hi ladies! I was just wondering anyone wanted to join me in the TWW? According to my apps I was due to O tomorrow (10th, CD23) but have ended up O'ing on Thursday (06th, CD19 Hmm) so currently 3DPO. Thankfully had been BD but it's not going to be enough we don't think as only caught -3, -2, +1. This is our third month trying so not too long but I would love some company to stop me going mad, I only have a 10-12 day LP which is stressing me out as it doesn't feel long enough but apparently it is!! Grin. Baby dust to you all!

@Ttcmumma fingers crossed everything is ok 🤞🏼. Let us know how your scan goes tomorrow. After my 20 week scan I had cramping/pressure. Not any bleeding/spotting though.

I have had a few episodes of braxton hicks, which I can’t even remember experiencing with DC. They have swabbed and scanned to check water around baby as my waters leaked at about 6-7 months with DC. All is ok and baby is healthy 👶🏼

Ttcmumma · 06/10/2023 18:30

@BB2818 thank you! All went ok at the scan thankfully. It was this morning. Not sure where the blood came from but doesn't appear to be from my womb and bubba is looking good so that's the main thing

@Ttcmumma thats great news! Will you find out if baby is a boy or girl?

Ttcmumma · 06/10/2023 18:40

@BB2818 yes I will, I have a private 16 week scan at the end of October where I'll find out 😊. Have/are you?

BB2818 · 06/10/2023 18:43

@Ttcmumma very exciting. We are going to leave gender a surprise 🙈 going to book a 3D/4D scan so we can take DC with us.

Ttcmumma · 06/10/2023 18:49

@BB2818 ah sweet! I wish I had the patience 🤣. I'm going to do the same with the 4d scan and my son, but after my 20 week scan. I'm being so careful this time just incase x

BB2818 · 06/10/2023 19:31

@Ttcmumma there aren’t many surprises in life 💛

Most places don’t do 3D/4D until 24/26 + weeks now. I remember with DC having one at 18 weeks because DH was away for 20 week scan. They are also now double-triple the price 🤦🏼‍♀️. Not sure if there is a Window to the Womb near you but one near us has a weekday offer for £79. Going to book for half term week 🙈

TTC12023 · 09/10/2023 12:30

Hi @BB2818 @Ttcmumma !

Sorry I've been away for a couple of weeks so missed all of these and was actually planning on checking in with you both today!

I'm glad all is going well for you both, sorry you experienced some bleeding @Ttcmumma that must have been scary! Glad bub is all OK 🙂

I've relented and we're going to find out the sex via NIPT, I also wanted a surprise but DH wants to know so we can plan names!

I'm 16 weeks this week and I cannot believe it, time is moving faster now thankfully! I also appear to be 'showing' which I am NOT happy about 😝and have put on ~10lb 🙄hopefully some of that is holiday weigh and will slip off when I return to my usual eating habits (which thankfully appear to be fully back to normal now!)

@BB2818 hows your nausea etc?

OP posts:
BB2818 · 18/10/2023 08:57

@TTC12023 sorry I didn’t get a notification that you had posted…

Have you had your private scan yet? Do you know the gender?

I have good and bad days with nausea. If I get up early (4am 😬) it normally passes before I need to function for my DC and work. However I am then ready for bed by lunch time 🤣.

I finally have a cute little bump. Definitely grown over the last week. I have gained about 9-10lb from starting weight. But lost a bit initially. It will all be worth it in the end 🙂

TTC12023 · 18/10/2023 11:31

Hi @BB2818 ! I was just coming on to post because I have to tell someone! We've had NIPT and found out we're having a baby girl the other day - still waiting on results but sonographer said everything was all right on track 😭it feels like such a weight lifted!

Glad you have a cute little bump, mine appears to be there but I think it's just DH and I that can see it, I'm pretty slim anyway so suddenly having a tummy feels a bit odd! I haven't 'popped' yet but I'm only 17 weeks.

Do you know the sex yet, or are you choosing not to find out?

@Ttcmumma hope all is OK?

Ttcmumma · 18/10/2023 13:15

@TTC12023 ohh congrats on baby girl!! I have a suspicion that I'm having a girl too due to nub theory and slightly high free beta hcg.

I think all is ok! Bleeding stopped as soon as they gave me a pessary for thrush and I found papercut like wounds on the outside of my vagina from the thrush so almost certain that's where the blood came from! I am under quite tight consultant care because of it, going back on Tuesday. He said my papp a was low but it's 0.78 which I've been told has to be under 0.4 to be considered low 🤷🏼‍♀️. My next scan is a gender scan on the 30th so not too long until extra reassurance! It's the same day as my 16 week midwife appointment (tho I'll be 17 weeks) I'm currently 15+2 and have what I think I'd a slight bump! If I wear tight clothes people would probably guess as I'm also slim so it's weird I have a belly haha but currently in joggers and a jumper and noone can tell 😉.

I don't have many symptoms anymore, more prone to headaches, need naps & sometimes almost vomit when brushing my teeth but that's about it, nothing major! So it's hard to believe there's a bubba in there still lol xx

TTC12023 · 18/10/2023 13:27

@Ttcmumma YES to those symptoms listed, I can't quite believe there is a bubba in there either as I don't really feel anything.

My PAPP-A was 0.86 which is similar to your's I wouldn't' be worried about 0.78. The MW used a doppler at my 16 week, do you get the same in your trust? I had high hopes it was a girl when she said HB was 145 😂

Ttcmumma · 18/10/2023 13:33

@TTC12023 I think once we start feeling them move about it will become a lot more real haha. They do say second trimester is the easiest 😊.

Ah fab ok, I think my consultant is just being super cautious of everything because of the unknowns of my previous MMC but he did say I won't need aspirin and it's a good sign I've passed the gestation I lost my last baby at etc. Ohh I have no idea! It's a brand new midwife centre too so I have no idea how they are haha. Really hope so but if not my scan is immediately after anyway 😊.

How exciting! I'd be super happy for a girl as it'll probably be my last so if have one of each but also think a boy would be lovely for them to be brothers and cheaper for all the hand me downs so either way I'm thrilled just can't wait to know now! Love that I'm not as far behind you guys as I initially thought too x

BB2818 · 18/10/2023 13:34

@TTC12023 congratulations 💕

I suspect I am having a girl too. But happy to keep it a surprise 🫣😬

My midwife did use the dopler at my last appointment I think I was 16-18 weeks, but said they don’t usually until 28 weeks. I have an anterior placenta so a bit more difficult to find, she managed to find though.

Been on the monitors at hospital a couple of times due to bleeding (again). And getting braxton hicks which they have picked up on monitors too. I don’t think this baby is staying put until due date 🤦🏼‍♀️

TTC12023 · 18/10/2023 14:23

@BB2818 I was surprised that she used one as I know 16 weeks is super early but DH was there as well so it was super cute to see his little face. ❤How many weeks are you now? All that sounds super stressful, I hope you're doing OK?

@Ttcmumma I hope it's soon, still can't get my head around whether I'll find it weird or wonderful! Any advice on what it actually feels like? MW asked me recently if I had felt any bubbles or flutters - I'm like, I'm sure it was gas! You're only 2 weeks behind me which is super nice 🤗

Ttcmumma · 18/10/2023 14:39

@TTC12023 I weirdly have forgot what they felt like with my son lol, when you're bigger you see the movements and it's very obvious. I didn't feel him for quite a while yet, probably more than 20 weeks tbh.

I've had two instances this pregnancy where in like... Is it? The other day, it was a repetitive little tap/pop type feeling inside. Like so gentle if I wasn't sat down doing nothing I don't think I'd have felt it. It was the repetition in the exact same spot that made me question it. Then last night my partner and I were falling asleep cuddling and everytime he breathed out, his belly touched mine and I felt a slight bubble like feeling. I thought it was wind, but it never progressed further than the exact spot my partners belly touched. I could be imagining it but I think it may be the beginnings of feeling something! So hard to tell this early on tho x

BB2818 · 18/10/2023 16:03

I’m 26 weeks now. It seems to be going so quickly. They won’t let me go over that’s for sure so in 14 weeks (or sooner) we will have a baby… seems crazy!

I only started feeling flutters around 20-21 weeks. We can now see movements 🙈.

TTC12023 · 18/10/2023 16:32

That's a MAD timeline! 14 weeks feels so close!

So I'm having a baby girl!!

BB2818 · 30/10/2023 20:52

@Ttcmumma congratulations 💕🎀 how exciting! Have you got any name ideas?

Ttcmumma · 30/10/2023 21:11

@BB2818 thank you! I guessed girl but was still so shocked to find out she really is a girl haha. Not a clue! I was awful at naming my son to be honest had to get my partner to do it, will see what he comes up with haha

BB2818 · 30/10/2023 21:14

I think I am having a girl but was wrong last time. I thought I was having a boy and had a girl 🙈

I could not leave my DH responsible for name DC. So far his suggestions are Pablo for a boy and Shaniqua for a girl 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ttcmumma · 30/10/2023 21:20

Haha mine wasnt really off feeling more nub theory, symptoms, hcg being a little higher etc

Omg your partner's names are cracking me up, I know a bulldog called Pablo haha. My partner named my son Evan, because my surname is Evans. So it was a way of including my family name. With his dad's surname of course as he couldn't be Evan Evans 🤣. But was quite a sweet touch and I wanted something short and not overly common but not too out there, so was perfect really! Hoping he's just a good this time. If not I'll have to take control back lol

BB2818 · 03/01/2024 18:55

How are you all?

Ttcmumma · 03/01/2024 21:48

@BB2818 all good over here! 26+2 and getting excited now to be honest. All seems well so far, got a private 4d scan on the 13th to take my son to 😊.

How are you?
