Almost out of date condom

How effective is a condom dated 04/23 possibly got too hot last summer, two used a week ago . I’m 8 weeks postpartum, me and dh were in a let’s be careful until I can get the coil refitted. I checked the dates when I was 8 months and it didn’t register that they were coming to end of life. Also concerned that I had a c section and I was told not to get pregnant for 18 months, if I have accidentally got pregnant is it life threatening dangerous? I only can find one test and not sure if I have line eyes but I thought I saw something. Feel crampy and bloated (I conceived dc on cycle day 7 tested positive cycle day 14)

I’d test 2 weeks from the last day you had sex with those condoms, not sure there is a way to be sure it’s 50/50 🤞🏻

They are still in date so they will be just as good as any others. Of course no contraception is 100% but you’d likely have noticed if it had broken

Around 8 dpo so testing anyway I had one that looked a little ghost line going to leave a few more days and test again. Had hyperemisie with pregnancy and lost 65 lb so ready not wanting to get pregnant right now
