Tracking BBT - TTC

Hi everyone! It's our second cycle TTC and first cycle tracking my BBT and I find it all so interesting, I'm learning so much about my body that I didn't even think of before. I'd like to see others graphs that are TTC and how their graph reflected a BFN or BFP. I'm 5DPO and temperature dipped yesterday but back up again today.

@Ttcsecond hey! I'm okay, my temps stayed fairly high but I've come on today, literally just. Onto the next cycle, the only positive I can take from this is that I know exactly where CD1 is for me now xx

I know we both suspected that is wasn’t our month but it still hurts. I’m gutted for you but happy that you’re feeling positive and know where you stand. Xx

@Ttcsecond I know, I want to have a little cry but going to try remain positive. I can enjoy this weekend now and have some drinks at the wedding. We will get there, I still expect daily updates from you 😅 xx

I even stupidly wasted a FRER today for some reason.

I’ve got a few events this month where I can now ‘enjoy’ a drink too. Some things to look forward to and before we know it it will be ovulation time again and we will be getting excited.

I will definitely let you know how I’m getting on and please let me know how you are. Xx

Yes exactly, we can relax and have a good time over the next two weeks and then it'll be go time again. I'm worried I have low progesterone so now I'm looking into bloody progesterone testing & taking vitamin b6 to try and boost it. 🤦🏽‍♀️ driving myself mental, I've never had a 9 day LP.

Morning @Ttcsecond really weird, my temp is the highest it’s ever been this morning. I normally temp between 5-6:30 so that’s within the window. Not ill etc but my temps even higher than with my chemical last month. Had to remove my period log as NC kept saying my temp was too high. No idea what’s going on tbh xx

I’m on to the next cycle my temps dropped all the way down to cover line.

That is strange. Maybe your progesterone is still high so your temp is? Did you do any more tests?

my temps is still around the same as it has been the last few days. But I have a doctors appointment today to put my chemicals on my record so will see what they say. I keep seeing things about low dose aspirin so might ask about that. Xx

@Ttcsecond its weird isn’t it. Yeah I’ve done another test and still stark white negative so I’ve no idea what’s going on. Hopefully it drops tomorrow (never thought I’d say that) but just so I know where I’m at.

Ive got some pink CM this afternoon. Could mean AF is on her way but that would be 2 days early. Did you take co enzyme 10 for the first time this month or did you take it last month too?

doctor still hasn’t called yet.

@Ttcsecond how weird, our cycles have been almost identical this month bar my temp bloody going up at the end. I stopped bleeding earlier but it came back and then stopped again so I literally don't have a scooby. And you've started bleeding early by 2 days same as me.

I've been taking coq10 for about 6/7 weeks now. You take it too don't you? I'm looking into taking b6 to help with progesterone levels xx

I’ve only been taking it for the first time this cycle. I take a b complex vitamin after ovulation.

I’m so confused. I took an OPK test just now as usually my LH levels go high just before AF and it’s not that high.

I might order a progesterone testing kit and pay for it. At least then can do on the right day as opposed to day 21 which wouldn’t be 7 days after ovulation for me Xx

@Ttcsecond that's odd, I've heard progesterone stick tests called proov sticks. I was having a look at those last night.

What are you thinking, you have low progesterone or just want to check?

I think I'll order b6 then as I guess there's no harm in taking that. I was going to take an LH to see if that will give me anything, I'll do one when I next need a pee.

The thing I'm most confused about is when I was googling high temp bbt and period, progesterone drops, causing the temp to drop which then tells your body to have its period. If my temp is still high, is my progesterone still high which then makes me question what this bleeding is haha. It's definitely not pregnancy though cause I'd have a line by now at 8/9DPO I'm sure xx

yeah I just want to check my progesterone levels to rule it out.

I’m confused about that for you too. Maybe test again tomorrow? Did you do an LH test?

had my doctors call. Got it marked on my record. Said not been trying long but if happens again/I’m trying longer and don’t get pregnant then will start doing some tests. I’m definitely going to order the progesterone test for my own piece of mind xx

Definitely CD1 for me today. So odd that my LP was shorter.

My temps dropped today by 0.2 but the bleeding had stopped last night so I literally have no idea. Im guessing it's just pre period spotting which I've never ever had before.

Sorry that AF has arrived. Hopefully now we know when CD1 is properly from our CPs we will be able to track this month and know where we stand xx

just had a look back through my apps and before we started trying in Jan my LP was about 12 days so I think it was just longer h the last few months because of my chemicals.

I might get some b6 instead of b complex too. Will you take your whole cycle or just after ovulation? Xx

@Ttcsecond yeah mine was always 11 days and now 9 days cause of my chemical 😔.

I'm bleeding now but it's dark brown and not fresh so it must be old blood coming out from the CP.

I'm going to have a little look and I'll let you know what I find, but I think it'll be an every day vitamin xx

yep but got the 50mg ones so will take one a day til ovulation and then maybe take two a day after that.

I’m also debating taking low dose aspirin xx

@Ttcsecond my temp has finally dropped below cover line which ties in to when my period should actually be starting so no idea what the brown/old bleeding is from, I'm assuming just from everything last month.

I've been up since half 5 this morning and been getting in my thoughts about it not happening and not being able to fall pregnant which just seems ridiculous as we only started trying in February, had our cp in March and April obviously my cycle is just sorting itself out. But it's hard isn't it, there's so many pregnancy announcements and it just feels like everyone is pregnant at the moment 😔 I really hope it happens for us soon xx

I really wish I could give you a hug! It will happen for you, I know it. I think your hormones will still settling a bit after coming off birth control.

But I know what you mean about feeling sad about it and announcements really hammer in it. Got to think that it will happen at the right time and the baby will be so so loved.
