Tracking BBT - TTC

Hi everyone! It's our second cycle TTC and first cycle tracking my BBT and I find it all so interesting, I'm learning so much about my body that I didn't even think of before. I'd like to see others graphs that are TTC and how their graph reflected a BFN or BFP. I'm 5DPO and temperature dipped yesterday but back up again today.

@Ttcsecond aww amazing I'm so happy for you. How many DPO does it make you?

I tested this morning, couldn't see anything to the naked eye but played around with the colours and seen this. Probably an evap or something/just the shadow of what would be a line so I'm not holding out hope.

Do you know when temperature drops if AF is coming? Is it usually the day before or day of? I'm due on Saturday so 2 days to go and still 8/9 DPO depending on which app I look at.

I see a shadow on that test, what’s the sensitivity of the test you’re using? Fingers crossed there’s something there.

This was the end of my chart last month. My temp dropped over a few days before AF. But that was my first month charting so not sure if that’s the norm.

@Ttcsecond 10miu/ml which is think is quite sensitive isn't it? I could be wrong though.

Ah okay so it could be that my temp starts dropping more tomorrow although it dropped by 0.02 today 🤷🏽‍♀️

Yes 10miu/ml can be sensitive, try again tomorrow or the next day and should hopefully be clearer. Think first response as 6miu/ml.

Hi both. I didn’t manage to record my temp this morning bcos I kept waking up too many times and took ages to go back to sleep so it was too late to record an accurate temp 😮‍💨

i was looking at my graph the time I fell pregnant in 2018 (which was a straight forward successful pregnancy) straight after my chemical pregnancy. The line just keeps going up and down. I’m not even sure what the line is supposed to look like! I thought if you were preg it would show a steady line going up. I would have to step away from bbt when I get a bfp as my anxiety wouldn’t cope 😂

I had slight cramp in my vagina today (sorry tmi), I’m hoping it’s implantation as I’m 6DPO but I’m prob just trying to get my hopes up 😁

Period due next Thursday. 😮‍💨🕰️

Another chemical for me I think. Not pregnant on a digital today and lines fainter on my cheap tests. Was going to tell my other half today.

I found that taking temps orally isn't very reliable so switched to vaginally probably should have waited for the next cycle but this is what it looks like

@Ttcsecond I'm sorry to hear that! Although I've been googling and not sure how well line progression works on the IC. Do you have any other tests?

I'm 10/11dpo today and have faint lines on the boots early tests, waiting for the FRER to arrive

I don’t know if I drank a lot before bed. I feel like I’m just trying to find excuses though whereas in my head I know it’s not good news.

I went out this morning and got another FRER and did it with SMU (after not drinking much). And the lines still there and darker than 2 days ago but about the same as yesterday. I’ll post the picture (top is 10dpo, middle 11dpo and bottom is today at 12dpo)

@Ttcsecond don't forget that HCG levels double every 48 hours so it may not show more progression until tonight/tomorrow. Plus there is still a line so at this moment you're pregnant! 🤞🏼

Unfortunately it is looking like a chemical. Much lighter FRER. Going to stop testing now and wait for AF. Hopefully she won’t be too delayed.

Im so confused right now. I got a clear blue digital early test. Did it with not my first wee of the day (more like 3rd). It came up pregnant but they are quite sensitive. But I did the thing you’re not supposed to do and opened it up and there’s only one line! Either there’s no control line or there’s only the control line. I don’t know what to think

Are any of ladies able to understand BBT. I can't understand what I'm supposed to be looking for. Here's my chart. Positive on ovulation test on 26th and 27th march. Bbt took a dip day before I got the positive then continued to rise for few days and took a big dip this morning. Does any of this mean anything to you ? And would this chart indicate I did successfully ovulate or did not

@MK85 Try the fertility friend app it calculates ovulation day based on temperature. There is a dip just before an egg releases and it rises when it's been releases. Not sure what the dip would be as it's too early for implantation. How do you measure temps.
Also here's what mine looks like I switched to tracking vaginally yesterday as I found that it's more accurate than orally.

I've been measuring it orally but might switch to internally next month. I downloaded Fertility friend and this is what it says

@Ttcsecond I'd ignore the lines and go with what's on the digital, so you have the one that says how many weeks you are? I started spotting on Saturday when my period was due and had a bit of red blood last night, hoping it's just hormonal and there's some line progression this morning 😔🤞🏼

@Angelselevenx No it wasn’t a weeks one, it was a 6 days early digital. Cost a fortune!
I’m cramping today, temp has gone down and line barely visible on a sainsburys test. So think AF will arrive on. time tomorrow.
Got some additional vitamins ordered to try for next cycle.
Lots of women spot in early pregnancy so I’m sure it’s nothing to be concerned about. Hope your lines are darker today 🤞🏻

@Ttcsecond I know, I've done about 14 tests since Friday I've spent an absolute fortune and OH thinks I've got mental.

I'm sorry to hear 😔 did you take vitamins last month? I used the vitl subscription and had the fertility vitamin.

Spotting seems to have stopped although I did have a bit of blood last night. Lines have progressed from 2 days ago and I took a digital that has confirmed. Going to ring the doctors this morning although I'm sure they won't do anything, even if it's just some reassurance for the spotting x

last month I took omega 3, vitamin c, vitamin d, folic acid and then added in vitamin b complex after I ovulated. Got some higher dose vitamin c and CoQ-10 which I heard is good for egg quality. Hopefully they will be the answer for a sticky baby.

@MK85 Have you mesured temps today already 6 dpo os the earliest for implantation but unlikely and that's a really big dip.
