Tracking BBT - TTC

Hi everyone! It's our second cycle TTC and first cycle tracking my BBT and I find it all so interesting, I'm learning so much about my body that I didn't even think of before. I'd like to see others graphs that are TTC and how their graph reflected a BFN or BFP. I'm 5DPO and temperature dipped yesterday but back up again today.

oh no I’m so sorry that happened 😣.

I think you’re doing the right thing not temping. It’s interesting to see but now you’ve done it for a a while you know you ovulate and roughly when so don’t need to anymore. And no stressing about it not going up when it should etc. xx

@Ttcsecond @Angelselevenx i agree - temping is good to get some baseline data and to see how symptoms - cramps/ov pains etc tie in with stages of cycle, but beyond that I find I can get a bit obsessive. If not successful this cycle I will try and hold off temping every day because I find it affects my sleep as I wake early to temp.

I only temped last month from when my af stopped and until ov was confirmed. This month I have yet to measured and will only do when I get peak opk to know the day of ov. I’m feeling much better and less obsessive over everything.

@emmatcc1 good idea, I’m on CD5 and AF coming to an end, so will start temping again tomorrow I think. It has actually been really nice not to have to remember to do it (and analyse what it means etc). I realised last cycle just how meaningless the post-o temps are, because my temps up to 14dpo followed my pregnancy chart temps almost exactly. I expected a dip before AF but that didn’t happen. So it just made me have expectations and read into my (PMS) symptoms.

hello! I’m ok apart from the nausea. My partner made me tea last night and I took one look at it and had to run to the bathroom to retch. I felt so sorry for him!

@Ttcsecond oh noooo 😢😅 that's rubbish!! Hopefully it eases off the closer you get to 12 weeks!

I'm okay thank you, feeling a lot better now. O is next weekend so although I'm not 'tracking' I still have a good idea when it is etc 🤞🏼 xx

@Angelselevenx Yeah hopefully. Getting nervous about the scan on Thursday now. Hoping it’s still growing.

how does it feel not tracking and having a bit of your life back? Next weekend will be here before you know it. Xx

@Ttcsecond I'm certain you'll be fine, the fact your symptoms are still there is a positive sign 🤞🏼😊 can't wait to see some photos.

Honestly it's been much better, I didn't realise the stress and pressure I was putting on myself and my OH as well. Exactly, although it's this week that's wasted BD because they won't count for anything 😂😂😂. I think O is 22nd if it's a day early again or 23rd if it's CD20. I've been rubbish at taking my vitamins as well.

I also forgot I was doing that clearblue study so I've been having to collect my pee samples everyday but haven't used any of the sticks they sent because 'I'm going for a more relaxed approach 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️' xx

How’s the study going. When I told my partner about it he was not keen on the sorting the pee in the fridge 🤣xx

It's not to bad, i chuck them back in the lunchbox and put them in the fridge in the garage so they're not around our food 🤣. It's literally just peeing in pots which is fairly easy, O is 10ish days away, wonder if I can refrain from using their ovulation sticks they sent... this month I'm definitely using preseed!! Xx

Scan went well. Measuring 9 weeks and heartbeat of 170. Was really nervous before but everything looked perfect. Although the pictures are rubbish 🤣.

sorry for not replying earlier. Had family staying at the weekend so was a bit manic.

I’m doing ok thanks. Still got sickness but feel a bit less tired. NHS on Friday which I’m nervous for.

I'm okay thank you, ovulating today and had ovulation pain intermittently so I think that confirms it. I've DTD -5, -2, twice on -1 and today, used preseed 3 times so now we wait... 🤞🏼 xx

Yes it’s my 12 week scan based off my LMP but based off the private scan I had I’ll only be 11+1.

@Ttcsecond good! Good luck for Fridays scan, how exciting that feels like it's flown by.

I did, felt much more relaxed! 2dpo and don't feel too psycho yet, hoping it's our month but we just never know xx

had my scan today. All well but was only 11+1 so couldn’t have the screening tests done today. Got to go back next week for another scan and the tests but at least got to see baby again. The sonographer said everything looks great though. Baby was wriggling about.

I'm okay thank you, 4DPO today yeah. Don't think it'll be our month again to be honest 😔 I lose hope around this time as it's only 7 days until AF is due xx

@Angelselevenx I think girl too. Definitely finding out at the 20 week scan.

I know the feeling but you’re in with a chance this month. Will you test early or just stay more relaxed and wait for AF? Did you find the pre seed ok? Xx

Yeah, I don't think we could've done anymore 5 bd before and on day of O, 3 with preseed. If this doesn't work I just don't know what to do, we've said we will get tested from September 😔.

Yeah I didn't mind it to be honest, I don't think it felt much different 🤣🤣 although I did leave it to disperse for 20 minutes or so beforehand xx
