Tracking BBT - TTC

Hi everyone! It's our second cycle TTC and first cycle tracking my BBT and I find it all so interesting, I'm learning so much about my body that I didn't even think of before. I'd like to see others graphs that are TTC and how their graph reflected a BFN or BFP. I'm 5DPO and temperature dipped yesterday but back up again today.

@Ttcsecond I don't know if it being high at this stage would mean anything though 😔 I've had quite a bit of pulling but I get that every month I think so I don't think that means anything either.

As horrible as it must be being shattered, at least the signs and symptoms are there which is reassuring. Have you done anymore tests? You'll have to let me know how you get on tomorrow xx

That chart looks really good. How are you feeling?

Scan went well. Measuring 6 weeks 5 days and saw a heartbeat. So it’s caught up a little bit. They said they don’t need to see me again and to contact the midwife. Annoyingly the printed wasn’t working so don’t have a photo. But will book a private scan for a couple of weeks time. Nausea kicked in yesterday so just been to the shop for ginger biscuits and crackers!

they also saw a pocket of blood so said if I get some bleeding not to panic but to call them if it’s significant Xx

@Ttcsecond I feel good, don't feel the need to overanalyse just yet haha. I've had a lot of twinges and yesterday I felt cramping but I think that happens monthly so nothing.

Yay!!!! I'm so happy, how exciting. Are you relieved? Yay to symptoms as well.

That's good, at least you know that if you do spot you know why. Xx

7dpo today, caved and tested on a one hour hold this afternoon 😅 obviously negative 🙄. I did wake up 45 mins later today though so temps probably higher because of that xx

I know the temptation to test gets so overwhelming sometimes doesn’t it. What tests do you have in?

that temp looks great and would only be a slightly higher for being a bit later.

Spoke to the midwife the other day and got my 12 week scan date. But have booked a private scan for 2 weeks time to check still growing. Xx

@Ttcsecond it does, I've had a lot of cramping in my left side today not sure what that is though. I've only got internet cheapies and one FRER (plus some non sensitive tests) but I'm not going to use the FRER until whenever it is I get a line on an IC. I spent a fortune with my chemical I don't want to waste all that money again.

Hmm do you think? I normally temp at 6:25 but temped at 7:15 today.

its so hard not to test early! Chart is looking good @Angelselevenx , I’m only a day ahead of you at 8dpo. This is mine , few later temps but I’m happy to see I’ve ovulated anyway.

Meant to say mine are similar with times - about 30 mins later than usual. Seems like before ovulation I’m happy to get up earlier at 6.30 and after it’s more like 7ish! I think the temp difference is minor but you can always use a bbt adjuster if it’s likely to skew the interpretation etc

@CurlyWurly1991 nice dip at 8dpo, fingers crossed for you!

My temp jumped from 36.37 yesterday to 36.87 today so I'll see what it's like tomorrow, seems a very high jump for just 45 mins waking up later!

@Angelselevenx sounds promising! Does FF recognise a triphasic pattern? Would say so in the pregnancy monitor section. They have some good Q&A on triphasic charts too.
my temp is similar today as yesterday. It’s looking a lot like an ovulatory chart from 10 years (I only have a couple of charts on FF to refer to!) and less like my pregnancy chart. Will attach a pic to show what I mean.

My natural cycles chart I've amended to have my 4am temp yesterday included instead of my later temp and I've kept FF as my later temp from yesterday so I can compare the two

@Ttcsecond I'm okay, I'm fed up though to be honest. I'm stopping tracking everything this month and just going to leave it up to what will be will be, I try so hard every month and feel like it's just getting a bit to much when it isn't happening.

I know, my last positive showed at 9DPO though so I think it would've shown by now.

@Angelselevenx feeling similar here. 11dpo and bfn although I don’t trust early hpts much as got such a late bfp with my first. Still, I have my usual AF cramps and nausea so expecting she will show in the next couple of days. Take care and hope you get some nice treats to keep you going x

@Angelselevenx yes take a break from it all and be able to get out of bed without thinking oh no I’ve got to temp. How does your OH feel about stopping tracking? You roughly know when you ovulate anyways don’t you. Will you stop all the additional vitamins too?

I’m ok thanks. I bit tired and nauseous still. But I expect that will last for a few weeks, I’ll worry when they stop thought won’t i 🤦🏻‍♀️Xx

@Ttcsecond yeah exactly. He's in agreement, we're just gunna take the pressure off, no tracking and DTD when we feel like it and not force it. If it's meant to be it'll be!

I'll probably still take my vitamins 😂😂😂 well at least the b6 cause that's made my LP a day longer.

Yep scan is a week on Thursday. It’s near my work so just going to go on my lunch break. Xx

@Ttcsecond yeah exactly! Although my period is due tomorrow (if I stick to a 31 day cycle which will have increased my LP to 12 days) or due today if my LP stays at 11 days as I ovulated early and my temps risen.

by my dates I’m 8 weeks but by the last scan I had I’m 7 weeks 4 days. Xx

@Ttcsecond I did and got a nasty evap. AF has arrived tonight 😒 feeling okay though. Cycle 6 we go and not temping anymore for the month now.

Eek nearly at the 8 weeks it's so exciting xx
