TWW - Testing Around 1st March

Creating a thread for anyone close to ovulation or already in the TWW! I find this journey easier speaking to people going through the same and on the same timeline. We are trying for baby #1 after a MC end of June/July, we was going with the flow but after nothing happening we decided to start tracking ovulation last month and this month i started tracking BBT as well. This month is also our first month using Preseed after I saw so many people say it helped!

I am currently 3DPO - Ovulation was on cycle day 15 confirmed by BBT.

@1sttimemummy2022 thankyou, I'm only 8dpo so honestly wasn't expecting anything but whiteness...I didn't get a bfp til I was 14dpo last time and even then it was faint! I'm just keeping everything crossed that it goes how it should 🤞🏼🙏🏼

@1sttimemummy2022 did you do another test this morning?

Not tested this morning, I've ordered some clear blue as I believe them a bit more 🙈
I got my first positive in my 1st pregnancy before first response... so we will see!

I was so nervous with my 1st pregnancy and I think I had 2/3 private scans before my 12 week scan 🤣

This is my 5th pregnancy @1sttimemummy2022 I've got 3 older children I had when I was 19, 21 and 23. I'm now 36...37 a week on Sunday and was expecting my 4th child in May but unfortunately miscarried in October at 8 weeks. When I was younger I don't think I was anywhere near as anxious as what I am now. Going to test every day now though to hopefully see the line progression. Will book in with midwife once I've seen the lines getting stronger 🤞🏼

I'll be getting early scans at the hospital due to the miscarriage but yeah I think I'll be getting private ones too! Blooming nervewracking!

@Sb86 wow that line at 8DPO. Wow thats restrained!! Waiting until Fri but will be a lovely suprise.
I'm only 5DPO today and at times I'm fine and others I am crazy women trying to work out when I can test. I do have furst respose (6 days early) tests. Last time my boobs were swollen and very tender, boobs are fine atm. But I did test the day after I missed my period, I was obv alot more relaxed 😅. Feeling slight nauseous at times, abit of cramping (which I don't think i usually have) and fatigue (or lazy). Think my mind is playing tricks, hoping for early preggo symptoms haha!

@SC0205 I know...I almost rang him to come home but then thought he'd have a suspicion if I just did that. He's coming home for lunch but I really want to do the card for him and make sure there's a line progression. I'm dying to tell him obviously but it's only another day or so 😅

Oh I know the feeling, I tell myself to relax and just what will be will be...then I google every little twinge or possible symptom! Seeing people doing tests clearly got the better of me because I honestly didn't expect to get a positive so early on!

Thats lovely! If I get my BFP then I was thinking about buying a grow but abit worried and don't want to jinx it. During the CP I was wondering if we could go on hol in March, then when it happened I thought sod it!

Good question 🤣. It changes daily....hourly. I think I was going to try 9DPO because its Sunday for me and falls in the window for the first response test. Ideally id wait until 12DPO or missed period-but ive got no chance!
Premom has estimated my next period because it will be the first after the CP. Whilst flo is a week earlier but has no ovulation data.

Well, I got my Pregnant 2-3 (weeks since conception) on a Clearblue Digital this morning. Looks like this is happening. Fingers crossed! I'll give it a few more days and then ask my husband to get my big box of pregnancy books (I like doing my research lol) out of the loft, haha. If last time is anything to go by, I've got about 2 weeks until the hyperemesis gravidarum kicks in, so I'm trying to emotionally prepare for that, and eat well before I can't.

Spurred on by all the positives, I cracked and tested this afternoon at whoknowsDPO, I really wish I hadn't, now I'm just playing the 'is there the fairest line ever on what is actually just a BFN', confusing myself and driving DH nuts, urgh, should have stuck with the plan!

I’ve had a bit of a crazy couple of days - went to A&E at 11pm on Monday night as I had a stabbing pain in what felt like my left ovary. I was terrified it was an ectopic as I never get this kind of pain. They did a HCG blood test so they confirmed it wasn’t so that’s put my mind at rest now.
on CD3 and I’ve started taking letrozole and inositol this cycle. DH is bringing me supplements as I’m rubbish at remembering before I get in the habit 😂. Going to try and be a bit more chilled this time, all the stress cannot be good! xxx

Oh yes we are! Yes will keep going with the CB OPKs this month, I find them really easy to use even though they are expensive. Hopefully ovulation will be bang on time with taking letrozole again.

I’m the same I always kick myself after I’ve tested early and get a BFN but try to convince myself there’s a line 🤦🏻‍♀️ but you’re not out until AF shows up!

Well I took a test and it's now negative after the positives yesterday (very confusing)
The lines yesterday looked pink so deffo wasn't an indent! Perhaps I had some dodgy tests yesterday?

Anyone experienced this before?

Guys….took another test and thought I could see a shadow within the time. Looked again when it was dry (I know I shouldn’t) ….thoughts? Is this anything

@SC0205 I caved...as soon as he walked in from work for lunch he was talking about his morning being a bit shitty and I couldn't keep it to myself. I'd have felt mean keeping that news to myself for 2 whole days...the thought was there 🤣 he couldn't believe it either. It was lovely though and he kept hugging me 🥰

So you'll test when you test basically haha don't know why we even try convincing ourselves otherwise!

Thankyou for your congratulations, I'm still very cautious of it all and trying not to get too excited bit trying not to worry too. So for now I'll be staying put on this thread before moving elsewhere

@DiamondApricot how many days do you think you might be? Just give it a couple more days and test again or say sod it and test every day 🤷🏼‍♀️ fingers crossed for a bfp
