TWW - Testing Around 1st March

Creating a thread for anyone close to ovulation or already in the TWW! I find this journey easier speaking to people going through the same and on the same timeline. We are trying for baby #1 after a MC end of June/July, we was going with the flow but after nothing happening we decided to start tracking ovulation last month and this month i started tracking BBT as well. This month is also our first month using Preseed after I saw so many people say it helped!

I am currently 3DPO - Ovulation was on cycle day 15 confirmed by BBT.

It’s early days for me with the Premom app but you can manually log ovulation into it which is helpful and I was putting the strip tests in even though I was going the CB Smiley face ones too- I went with the smiley face as ovulation in the end as I didn’t seem to be hitting a peak on the strips. To be honest clue was pretty accurate for predicting my periods up til I started TTC but as I say I think the CP in dec/ jan has maybe thrown off the information in there. Also looking back my cycles weren’t as regular as I thought, they were an average of 28 but tended to vary month to month from 26 up to 31- however as I wasn’t using it for anything in particular last year I’m not sure I was 100% accurate with logging I could’ve been a day late etc so definitely not perfect.

Anyway sorry for that absolutely essay but I think worth running Premom alongside Clue to get another data set.

@TTCRainbow glad you are feeling better. It’s mad how our bodies mess with us!

I'm on day 3 of bleeding now, and while it's not heavy, it's more than just spotting.

I've googled and some people who take those vitamins have noticed the same thing, as well as breast pain. I stopped taking them Sunday and the pain is now gone.

So now it looks like I've messed up what was a regular cycle with over the counter vitamins. I don't even think there's a point in testing at the weekend.

i can’t believe I’m seeing this, writing this…. I just got a positive!!! Me and OH said we would do one tonight then test in the morning with first morning wee and I was not expecting this 🥺🥺🌈🌈🙏🏼🙏🏼

I'm currently 8dpo I think! Haven't been tracking.

What do people think of this test ?

@1sttimemummy2022 I think I can see a very faint line but can't see any colour, what's it like in real life as I know they are different to the photos

@1sttimemummy2022 I definitely see a faint line and I know that it’s hard to catch it on photo! Keep testing to see it progress.. I’m 10DPO today and yesterday mine was stark white!

@1sttimemummy2022 I'm usually a total sceptic but I see a line there, if I tip my phone and look at an angle it's really obvious so congratulations to you too! 🎊

My blood test is tomorrow morning and evening though my preg tests are strong positives I'm still so nervous! I don't know how I'm going to survive the anxiety of the next few weeks/months.

If anyone is interested this has been my line progression for easy@home tests (i have a lot of them!)

Hey guys! Done a test this morning…bfn only 8dpo so have time. The more I look at it the more I convince myself it’s got a shadow! I’ll test again Friday though

So...don't know what possessed me to test because I said I wouldn't until Friday morning. It must have been seeing the positive tests...anyway I can't believe it, I'm in shock. It was my second wee of the morning... I had to crack the cheaper one open as the plastic casing window was hazy

I am 12DPO stark negative on easy@home this morning . Think I am out this cycle. Gutted. Just want AF to start now and get it over with.

Thankyou @Peaceandloves I pray that it sticks and we have a healthy full-term pregnancy with a baby at the end of it. It feels unreal, I'm not going to allow myself to get too excited just yet because I can't help but fear the worst. Seeing those 2 lines is supposed to be the best thing ever but it also comes with anxiety ridden thoughts.

Thankyou @NWnature also you're not out until af arrives, I too got a stark white on day 12 back in September and only got a faint BFP on 14dpo. Don't give up hope just yet x
