Creating a thread for anyone close to ovulation or already in the TWW! I find this journey easier speaking to people going through the same and on the same timeline. We are trying for baby #1 after a MC end of June/July, we was going with the flow but after nothing happening we decided to start tracking ovulation last month and this month i started tracking BBT as well. This month is also our first month using Preseed after I saw so many people say it helped!

I am currently 3DPO - Ovulation was on cycle day 15 confirmed by BBT.

@1sttimemummy2022 sorry for late reply, I'm not feeling pregnant apart from the cramping which just fills me with dread especially when I go to the loo! I hate feeling sick but I would rather be feeling sick right now 🫠

@Sb86 I'm sure everything is fine! Fingers crossed you start throwing up soon (what a weird thing to say, I know 😂) - feeling that it was such a reassuring sign really got me through the sickness in my first pregnancy.

-----

Just wanted to say to everyone else who isn't in the November thread that unfortunately my EPAU are pretty confident that I've lost this one. It's sad, but I'm trying to accept it and do plan to try again. Just thought I should probably say - I'll likely be popping up on future TTC threads!

That said, I did deliberate on whether to post this here or not and really don't want to cause anyone any anxiety - please do not worry, and please enjoy your pregnancies with your hopefully very sticky babies! There's been so much good news on this thread and I'm really rooting for all of you.

For anyone who didn't make it this month, keep trying and baby dust to you all xx

@TTCRainbow thank you 😘. What's a dye stealers. That's a really strong positive! I mena we don't mind early preg symptoms but you are right I think it's the wrong way round on these new strips 😅. But I could take the pic with the wording upside down.
What does dye stealer mean?

@Sb86 thank you 😘. So exciting you have your scan booked in. My symptoms are similar, I had some tenderness 2 days ago and they are fine now. But the first response line was very faint at 9DPO and today 12DPO is a nice line.

I hasn't quite sunken in yet. The TWW has been hard and ive longed for this 2nd line. I've taken a first response and another strip first this this morning....well 3am and couldn't sleep then. Not complaining though! Going to contact the midwife today and might ask for any advice for a sticky baby.
After the MC l thought sod it and booked a holiday. So going next week, not going to lie I'm a little nervous... but hopefully its good relaxation time!

@UnwieldyRhombus I'm so sorry to read this. My heart truely goes out to you. Make sure you give yourself time! 💛

It will happen for you! If you ever want to private message me, I'm here. Not sure if this helps at all (sorry if its abit too soon), I had a CP 2nd Feb and manage to get pregnant soon after. Ive seen other comments saying the same. And in research (lots of factors though) that people have a higher chance of getting pregnancy 3 months after.
Thanks for all the lovely well wishes! BD to you 💛

@Sb86 Try not to compare to last time too much, i have been doing the same and driving myself mad. We need to just know they are completely different pregnancies and our bodies have got this this time 🙏 I feel the same about mine, they also go from tender and slightly bigger back to normal which was worrying me but we are so early on i think its completely normal, give it a couple more weeks and we will be like oh no!! lmao Good that you've got scan booked in and appointment is booked in, i didn't even make mine last time but just taking every step slowly and will just celebrate each step closer than last time. After the dye stealer yesterday i did the CBD earlier (was going to wait until friday) but i got 2-3 weeks so hopefully everything is progressing ok xxx

@UnwieldyRhombus oh 😪I am so sorry you are going through this. I don't want to ask to many questions as i know its sensitive and you might now want to speak about it right now but 'pretty confident' - but not confirmed - Have they done bloods or scan? I will use every little hope in me that everything turns out ok but i am sending you the biggest hug and all my love ❤ I am glad you've posted it as it is just reality of what we go through and if you need any support or chats or anything this is what we are all here for xxxx

@SC0205 Thank you! I've seen research saying the say thing, so at least that's positive.

@TTCRainbow Happy to answer questions, don't worry! I'm just so lost! I'm trying to get myself to accept it, grieve and move on, but I'm still kind of holding out hope. I stopped bleeding after a few hours and I'm seeing mixed things about whether it should be like a full-on period or whether a few hours of bleeding is it. They asked me lots of questions and then said they do think it is one and to take a pregnancy test in 3 weeks (I get why it needs to be then but that is SO far away!) and let them know what it says. I was a bit shocked that they didn't want to do any tests but it is super, super early? Effectively a CP? Yesterday I would have only been 5w exactly.

My boobs still hurt and I'm still nauseous, but that would be the case right, as HCG levels take a while to go down? I took a pregnancy test and it went positive almost instantly but again, the same. My husband says to try and wait until 6 weeks and then ask for an early scan if I'm still not sure, which seems wise? I'm just in a really weird limbo now and not sure what to do. I don't really want to phone them again as I know the answer will either be that they don't know or again that they're pretty sure it is.

I think maybe I just try and forget about it for a few days (sounds easy lol)?!

---
Btw, I'm sorry if this is bringing up bad memories for anyone, and if you want me to go to a different thread or keep it in the PMs, please just say and I will not be offended!

@UnwieldyRhombus I completely get you its such a rollercoaster of emotions and the unknown of not actually knowing what is going on is mentally draining and i feel like the hospital and EPU are so unhuman and not considerate of what is going on. I know everyone is different but i lost all my symptoms first, around a week before i started bleeding then i was bleeding for 7 days (last day of bleeding a passed it out, once it come out i didn't bleed at all after) then next day i had really faint test line and 2 days after completely negative.

So i don't want to give false hope but the fact you still have your symptoms and positive pregnancy tests after your bleed to me could still be ok. If you get to 6 weeks and have had no more bleeding and test still positive i would demand an early scan either to make sure everything is ok or if it was a MC to make sure everything has cleared up so you actually know what is going on with your body.
It's the only thing that's going to be running through your mind and causing you more unnecessary stress and worry if they don't scan you at 6 weeks and tell you for sure. I don't know about you but i was unable to function at all when i was in limbo of what was going on, i was off work sick, locked myself inside as i couldn't face the world as i was a complete emotional wreak and the only thing running through my head was is my baby ok or not.

I really would like you to stay on this thread and keep us updated and i'm sure everyone else is ok with that. We've all had similar experiences and feel like i would like this thread to be all of us going through our journeys together and offering any support we can ❤

I will pray that you get answers soon but most of all i will pray that everything will be ok for you xxx

@UnwieldyRhombus sorry just catching up, I'm on a few threads so I lose track. Thanks for hoping I start throwing up soon 😅🙈
I don't mind you staying on this thread at all, we all know what can happen and personally I prefer to talk about it than bury it away like it's not happening.

How are you feeling today? Been thinking about you.

@SC0205 oooh a holiday sounds perfect right now, where are you going?

@TTCRainbow that's exactly same as me thinking oooh my boobs feel fuller and there's definitely tenderness then a few hours later nothing. Very up and down at the moment but like you say still very early, I'm only 4 weeks today...feels like I should be further as found out last weds so 8 days ago! Madness because last time I was 14dpo when I got my bfp, makes it drag more knowing earlier haha.

I haven't used my cb digital yet, might do it tomorrow 😬

@1sttimemummy2022 No, no scan, they asked me questions and basically diagnosed over the phone. As for you feeling guilty for your first about having another, I think everyone feels that to some extent whether their firstborn is 9 months or 9 years old when they get a sibling! I think feeling a bit guilty just shows you're a good mum and have empathy ❤️ how lovely that they'll be so close in age!

@TTCRainbow Thank you. I'm still just like...do I accept and grieve or hold onto hope? Yesterday it was very much accepting it, but today I woke up so nauseous that I did a test and the line is stronger today than it was on Monday (the bleeding/MC was on Tuesday). I just don't know what to think. I phoned EPAU again and said I don't know if I'm just deluding myself here or what 🤦‍♀️ but she was nice and listened and said it could go either way. Booked me in for another phone appointment this evening. There's been no more bleeding since then but they seemed so sure it was a miscarriage on Tuesday?! But how far can you be sure over the phone anyway? I'll see what they say - maybe they can do some tests.

@Sb86 Thank you 😊 I had a rough day yesterday trying to deal with it, and then had basically accepted it, only to go back to having some hope today. This is a rollercoaster! Hopefully I can know either way soon. We can definitely try again if we need to.

@UnwieldyRhombus Try to keep positive and we will pray for a little miracle 🙏 That's good that they was nice.. when you speak to them tonight just say please can i come in tomorrow for blood tests or scan because surely you can understand how stressful, anxious this is not knowing what is going on. It might be hard but just beg, i feel like we get nowhere being nice or just accepting what they say to us, if you know what i mean. I know everyone is different but it seems to strange to only bleed for a day and tests still getting stronger. I follow Tayla-Blue on insta and i know she had IVF but she had alot of bleeding early pregnancy for just a day/two and was sure they had lost the baby and everything was completely fine. I hope your call goes well tonight and i will keep very little part of me crosses for us all to have sticky, healthy babies growing ❤

@TTCRainbow I wonder if she had a subchorionic hematoma as it's common in ivf pregnancy, I've seen loads of women on a fb group go through exact same thing. Absolutely sure they've miscarried because how can a teeny being ever survive that? But they have time and time again so hoping and praying that's the case here 🙏🏼❤️

I had a subchorionic hematoma in my first pregnancy, massive amount of blood, I was sent to A&E by the labour ward. I even made a thread on here at the time. My boy was absolutely fine.

@Sb86 thailand. Its really nice to have something to look forward to but not going to lie, I'm abit nervous!!
I think we are similar in DPO. Not sure how they will date my pregnancy. If its from the MC, that I'd be 5 weeks but maybe I'm more 4 weeks.

@DiamondApricot wow I bet that was so nerve wrecking.

I've noticed very light pink spot today 😩. Think it looks different to the last time. Everything hoping that's it, and it's implantation.

UnwieldyRhombus · 09/03/2023 22:42

@DiamondApricot oh wow, that must have been terrifying, how far along were you at the time?

@Sb86 @TTCRainbow she basically said she wasn't sure at this point but that I'm going to have to wait and see what happens as a scan at this point would be inconclusive this early on. Obviously to call if I start bleeding again but she does think it sounds less like a miscarriage given the bleeding stopped after a couple of hours, though she couldn't say either way. So I'm trying to be zen and patient 😅 but plan to keep taking tests every morning to see if I can get a bit of an indication of whether the levels are going up or down. Genuinely don't know what to think now! They seemed so sure on Tuesday so that's what I accepted and what I told people who knew about the pregnancy, but now I'm like...maybe?! 🤞

Thanks for sharing the Instagram post too! It's kind of lovely in a way how whatever happens with your pregnancy or baby, there's a community of women online who have been through the same or a similar thing!

@UnwieldyRhombus it really is, especially at this stage when we haven't told anyone else but our partners and maybe parents. It's so lovely to have other women to speak to about what we are going through, advice, reassurance and such kind words really are so important.

I think you would have bled for longer with a miscarriage so I've got all the hope that everything will be well. When did they say they might be able to scan you? X

@UnwieldyRhombus Rubbish they couldn't scan or at least do bloods, im surprised they didnt offer blood tests but yeah best thing you can do is keep testing on test to check its not fading. How are you feeling? Are you still feeling symptoms etc. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow and only just feeling some symptoms, fuller boobs (still not like last time), extreme bloating and needing a wee alot! Other than that i really feel normal and very scared. @Sb86 think your a little behind me but how are you doing?

I had message from Midwife today and have call later today so we will see what they say.. I've been taking Cod Oil which i've just read you shouldn't when pregnant so i sent myself into a panic 😫

Hey @TTCRainbow I'm 4+1 going from 1st day of last period, feels like I should be further though as found out 9 days ago 😅

I'm needing a wee quite often but I am trying to drink more water but I've noticed that not long after I've been I need to go again even when I've not drank. Boobs feel a little bigger but not firm or tender although my nipples are sensitive. Cramping has subsided now thankfully and my spotting has pretty much stopped just ever so slightly tinged with pink (really really faint). If I can remember rightly my boobs changed before my bfp but don't think I started feeling nauseous til about 5/6 weeks.

Are they just ringing about the cod liver oil? I'm sure it will be fine, people have taken far worse when not known they were pregnant xx

@Sb86 I know finding out so early makes it feel so slow! Good to know our symptoms are similar as i was really getting worried as i just didnt/dont feel as pregnant as last time but maybe its a good thing. I have had no cramps what so ever which is something last time i really noticed, felt like AF cramps and loads of backache but this time absolutely none 🤔

No i did self referral online last Thursday and its the Midwife calling to arrange the first appointment i guess. I will mention it to her but i will stop taking them now and hope that everything will be ok. You are right people have!

I also have booked a early reassurance scan for 7 weeks (25th March) as i just couldnt help myself and i dont think i can face the EPU again! Counting down the days and praying for a little bean with heartbeat xx

@TTCRainbow ahh I see, I'm sure she will be able to put your mind at rest 😊

Your scan is just a couple of days after mine, don't expect we will see much on mine as I should be exactly 6 weeks.

I've just done my clearblue digital and it showed 3+ but I'm only 4+1 weeks and it goes off conception not first day of last af 😕 also did a clearblue because well why not 🫠🙈
