8/9DPO Buddies

Hiya,

I'm either 8DPO (according to FF) or 9DPO (according to Premom).

Was just wondering whether anyone else is at a similar stage in their TWW?

I started spotting 6/7DPO, brown dischargy blood. Today, my temperature dipped - not sure if this is implantation or not.

Symptoms so far:

• Painful cramping in the middle of my pubic area
• Extreme bloating
• Very gassy
• Constipation (sorry if tmi)
• Short nauseous bursts

Would be nice to support one another :-)

Hi, also in a similar boat - 9DPO and had some very light brown CM (nothing to see when wiping or on underwear) on and off for a week. Currently 3 days late for my period but I know I ovulated late this cycle on CD22, currently on CD31.

@crazycatladyluce hi! 9dpo here! I had cramping yesterday which really made me wonder if it was implantation as I don't normally get that until a day or two before my period (12/13dpo). I'm not an early tester so just trying to be really patient for the next few days!!

The symptoms you describe sound a lot like my first pregnancy. I got super gassy and a bit nauseous at 9/10dpo and my breasts also felt really heavy and tender. Fingers crossed for you! When do you think you'll be testing? I will try to hold out until AF is due. With my first I tested at 15dpo a day after I was due on but I wasn't really expecting it that time despite journalling my symptoms each day so was happily quite oblivious! Maybe it helped I wasn't on MN 🤣

Hi! I'm also 9dpo, thinking I got my first faint positive too. When are you all testing? @TTCJJB that sounds like you're really late, you've got incredible willpower to not test yet!

@crazycatladyluce they all sound very promising symptoms eeek! Are you going by the 8dpo suggestion? Then if you were actually 9dpo you'd get better results.

I have no symptoms whatsoever girls. It was exactly the same in my last pregnancy too so that's not always a bad thing 😁

@SnookyPook Hiya! Well I stupidly took a test this morning & had the faintest of lines, although I think its the famous FRER indent lines (been a victim of them way too many times). I'm going to hold off now until at least Friday, although I would love to have the self-control to wait until 14DPO lol! I'm impressed at your willpower, I'm awful!

@Gloopyhoop I'm not sure which one to go by tbh! I'm use to not knowing much when it comes to the TWW. I suffer from pcos, so I've had countless TWW which weren't actually TWW because I never ovulated! Currently on CD244!! This time I got the new Apple Watch & tracked my BBT through that, which thankfully confirmed ovulation!

@TTCJJB Hey, are you using bbt to track this cycle? Fingers crossed!

@Gloopyhoop ooh congrats! That's exciting! Will you be testing again to see progression etc?

@crazycatladyluce ah it's so hard with the rollercoaster of up and downs isn't it?! Tbf, that's a large factor in my 'willpower' just trying to minimise subjecting myself to that! I am curious but able to talk myself out of testing too early! With my first my BFP at 15dpo was a real squinter so I'm not sure it would have shown earlier! That also makes me happy to hold off!

@TTCJJB if 3 days late for your period I would test! Although is that based on your predicted date or your late ovulation? My AF comes like clockwork 14days after ovulation so I go on that date irrespective of cycle length.

Thankyou snooky! Yeah I'm going to get some early clearblues tomorrow, I'll be 10dpo and last time I had a positive digital on that day so hopefully it'll show this time!
Also catladyluce you know you've ovulated so that's the first hurdle done! 244 days is a very long time for a cycle, I didn't realise pcos could do that

i’m around 9/10dpo (not sure as i don’t track just going off app) and so far i’ve had

-sharp twinges stitch like pain in right ovary, more so last night
-vivid dreams, dreamt i was baby shopping with molly mae!!
-boobs sore but feel like usual pms sore
-headaches every day but on/off
-random on off sore throat(probs totally unrelated)
-gipping changing my babies nappy when it doesn’t usually bother me, and very light random nausea!

9dpo today and it has taken all my willpower not to test!! Don't feel like it's my months but have been symptom spotting regardless! I may cave and test tomorrow but trying to wait until the weekend. Have bought the clearblue.super early digital ones to try too! dread to think how much I've spent on tests

@Gloopyhoop I really hope your test is the start of your BFP!

@mama1111 Your symptoms sound very promising! It's so hard not to symptom spot, literally every little thing I feel, I question whether it could be pregnancy related haha!

@Dramallama221 I've spent a fortune on tests too😅This is our 10th month ttc! As much as I hate my pcos, its kept my pregnancy test spending down slightly now that I know I hardly ovulate!

How long has everyone been TTC?

@Gloopyhoop Not so much willpower but just feel I ovulated late and with the spotting I may just be late. We will see.

@crazycatladyluce Yes using clearblue tests, definitely ovulated on CD22 because I got my first week and the familiar pains.

@SnookyPook Just from my prediction, currently on CD31. My last cycles were 24 days, 26 days and 27 days. Always had a very short luteal but usually ovulate before CD22 which could explain being late.

@crazycatladyluce came off pill in Jan 22 but I was still bf DS and my periods didn't come back until after I fully weaned him - cycles finally returned November last year so this is currently cycle 3 of officially TTC.

With my first he came along on cycle 4 so I'm hoping we'll get lucky again fairly soon. Although I am late 30s now so I know that can slow things down a bit.

@TTCJJB ah ok. It can be so hard to know what's going on can't it?! Have you ever spoken with anyone about your short luteal phase? X

This is our second month ttc our second and I'm already going mad!! think i expected it to work 1st time (even though it didnt for our first!!)

It's a nightmare! I was the exact same though, I always thought when we started trying last April that it would just happen. Weirdly enough though, I always deep down had a feeling something was wrong with me - then I got my PCOS diagnosis! I've got an appointment with an endocrinologist on the 28th of this month, so I'm really hoping I can go to them & tell them I'm pregnant

@SnookyPook Not yet, only been tracking really since the end of last year and if this month is anything to go by it seems to be extending. Have just started upping my vitamin C, so that might have something to do with it.

@TTCJJB ah fingers crossed! There's so much to think about that you never dream of until TTC isn't there?

I caved and tested...got a vvvvvfl on a 1st response but a not pregnant on the fancy clearblue! so none the bloody wiser and should have waited. i never learn

can anyone see anything or have I finally lost the plot?😂

Hi can I join ? I’m 8dpo today and didn’t have any tests so took an ovulation one as someone said they can go positive if pregnant but I got a negative . Finding all this so hard . Hope your all ok xx

this is only our second month this time round, but I was very anxious when we were trying for our first! everyone always says to relax, but I haven't worked out how to do that! Is there anything fun you can plan to get you through a few days before you test?
