Out... AF Arrived today. Looking for next cycle buddy

Hi all, AF graced me with her presence this morning... after what I thought were some promising cramps/light bleeding over the weekend. (It was just my mind playing tricks on me but so glad I waited it out, I think a negative test might have upset me a little) Made a note of all my symptoms, so I know what to expect next month, in case it's a no again.

We will be going again for cycle 2 in around 2 weeks time if anyone is in the same boat and is looking for support?

We haven't told many people we've started trying for our 1st baby, so I'm desperate to chat with someone else going through it.

Thanks 🥰 I was told it was unlikely to happen naturally so a huge surprise! I had no symptoms at all. If anything it was lack of anything. I normally spot for days before my period, get horrific PMT, really sore boobs etc. I had nothing at all, missed dtd around ovulation because DH was unwell (dtd 3 days before ovulation then not again until 3 days after) but thought I better do one as I was supposed to be going out just in case.

I woke up with the most insane heartburn and sensitive nipples this morning though before I got the darker line. Everything I eat, I need to pop more antacids 😂

@FlyingHighFlyingLow Aww that's an amazing surprise - so pleased for you! It must have been such a shock for it to be happen on a cycle where you couldn't plan everything around ovulation too... eeeek! 😍
So for me, I've been running hot all week. I've been having hot flushes lol. Had some cramping around 10/11DPO and was convinced AF was on the way. I woke up today a bit bloated but still wasn't sure... took a test and couldn't believe my eyes 🥰

How is everyone doing?

@BudgetBuster yeah good thanks! I'm on CD10 so going to start OPKs tomorrow. I'm not doing SMEP and stuff this month because due date would be Xmas eve so not trying as hard. Am due to ovulate this weekend and me and DH are away with 35 people all sharing rooms so don't know if we'll have the chance to DTD anyway ... 😒

I think mentally knowing you aren't really trying is good for the mind every now and then! But if you happen to DTD just remember babies rarely arrive on their actual due date!

I'm doing OK. My scan isn't for another 7 weeks which seems so far away. No symptoms bar tiredness either so a bit freaked but still testing positive.
