Out... AF Arrived today. Looking for next cycle buddy

Hi all, AF graced me with her presence this morning... after what I thought were some promising cramps/light bleeding over the weekend. (It was just my mind playing tricks on me but so glad I waited it out, I think a negative test might have upset me a little) Made a note of all my symptoms, so I know what to expect next month, in case it's a no again.

We will be going again for cycle 2 in around 2 weeks time if anyone is in the same boat and is looking for support?

We haven't told many people we've started trying for our 1st baby, so I'm desperate to chat with someone else going through it.

@BudgetBuster That sounds so frustrating 😞 Sorry to hear that, but as you say, hopefully your body is starting to get back on track now hence the delay and then you'll be set to start trying for a fresh month 🤞🏻. The waiting game must be hard, have you got anything you can be doing to distract yourself, any nice hobbies etc? X

@Piglet34 supplements sounds good. I am going to be temping this month (my first month trying it) but going to just see how it goes. I download and subscribed to the Premom app too. Loads of useful stuff on there - need to get reading it all lol x

@FlyingHighFlyingLow 2 weeks away sounds soo good right now. Hope you had a lovely time. Yep same for me, I've been taking folic acid and then iron,omega 3,magnesium,Vit D,B12 & 6 - I think that's it lol. Sending loads back to you as well!

@flowerlover1990 Yes, new cycle. I wish I could be excited but unfortunately AF brings utter illness to me 😂 Will spend the next 3-4 days in agonising pain and vomiting 🤢 😂
But after that it's all guns blazing TTC again haha

@BudgetBuster glad you are out of the uncertainty now, but sorry to hear AF is so rubbish for you :( hope you manage to have a restful weekend x

@flowerlover1990 yeah it's definitely worth trying temping to see how it is for you! I know some people get along with it well :) let us know how it goes x

@Winniewobble yes it's hopeful to know how many women who are older than us that fall pregnant.. however I am still concerned as not as young as before...
Did my ovulation testing however and I'm low! I assumed it would start climbing as the peak is predicted as soon.. so annoying! Xxx

AF arrived in full force today so finally CD1 for me! Glad to be starting again afresh

@Piglet34 Fresh new cycle! I've warned my husband not to ask me am I ovulating this month and to just do what hes told 😂

Due AF today and feeling really sick! I’m in such a bad mood I think I will cancel plans today for fear of biting anyones heads off 😅 I had a CP this month so feeling really upset about it all

Why does time drag so much when you're ttc?! Just waiting for my ovulation window to hurry up 😂 anyone else? I'm CD10 at the moment and it's the first month of me tracking with OPKs. LH levels are still reeeeally low at the moment... I'm guessing I must ovulate much later in my cycle that I thought.

@flowerlover1990 yep definitely, I am currently in the same boat. CD8 tomorrow so time to start SMEP-ing, going to try pre seed out so will see how that goes ! Am also planning to start the OPKs tomorrow but I don't usually ovulate until CD17 (although unsure of my CD1 as has random bleeding which stopped then started again so could be CD13 tomorrow if I count from that day). My LH levels usually stay low until literally the day of peak and then I usually do two that day and the next day. Do you use Premom to track the percentage of LH? X

Hey @Piglet34 that's good to know, thank you. - I always assumed I'd ovulate around CD14, but I must be much later in my cycle. Glad to be using OPKs this month so I can really understand what's going on with my cycle. Yes I'm using the pre mom app, and my lh levels have been around 0.14 so far... seems really low 😞 but hoping that's normal for me and it will pick up soon. Either that or I'm drinking far too much water before I test 🤣

@flowerlover1990 yeah I find doing a bit of tracking is nice so you know where your at :) don't know if this helps at all but this is my Premom from my last cycle , so it stayed pretty low until then went high then went back to low. I use FMU as seem to get the best results that way! These were all done around 8am but it says 12am because I was in Bali at the time and it didn't change the time difference aha. Hope you get your peak in the next few days! X

Thanks @Piglet34 that really helps seeing a comparison. Hopefully the peak is coming soon for both of us 👍🏻 that's interesting you've been doing FMU.. I've been doing it around lunchtime when I'm at work but might try FMU over weekend and see if it makes a difference. Jealous you've been in Bali too 😍

@flowerlover1990 no worries :) I think you are supposed to do lunchtime for OPKs but I drink a lot of water 😂 I usually do FMU then on the days it gets darker (so 16/17 in that photo) I would also do a lunchtime one to properly catch the peak. I just didn't do it last time while I was away :)

First time using LH tests, early evening, CD8 and got a ratio of 0.5 surely thats higher than it should be considering my estimated ovulation is CD17?

@FlyingHighFlyingLow I sometimes do get random high ones way before ovulation, I would just ignore until you get the actual peak :) see below one of my past ones where I got almost 0.5 on CD12 but didn't get peak until 6 days later x

I have been MIA the last week - decided to take a brek from tracking for awhile. Currently on CD14 and trying to DTD for fun. Have no OPKs in the house to even tempt me!

Can anyone see a line?
