Hi all! As the title suggests, I have set this up as a space for those of us who are TTC and in that long wait between ovulation and when AF is due!
So, to kick us off... I have been TTC #2 since November. Had one chemical in that time and now well into the TWW with AF due on Tuesday! After spending a lot of money on early tests / having the disappointment of a chemical I am now avoiding early testing and will instead wait until AF is late, but zero judgement on anyone who likes to test early - I totally get the urge!

@peaky297 Had two negative FRER tests on the day my AF was due and then the next morning, still no AF, awful cramps and just had to take an anti sickness pill (which was prescribed to me while I was in hospital for suspected gyne and is safe for pregnancy) praying for a baby but this may just be my old gyne illness again xx

Hey @peaky297 1DPO today. Hope this tww doesn’t drag. AF due the 13th so that is test day and I will try and stick to that and not test early. How are you getting on? Did you get a static smiley?

Thanks for asking @peaky297 - ovulation confirmed with a blood test so seems it did occur after all! AF due a week today. This is the part where I get my hopes up!!

@GemLou88 you're a few days into the TWW now - how's it going?

I never did get my static smiley, so I either missed the peak (on the day when I forgot to take it away with me) or didn't ovulate. If I did ovulate, I think I'm about 7/8dpo now and things are a little unusual this month. My usual sore boobs are nowhere to be seen, I have a lot of creamy white CM (it's usually fairly dry down there at this point) and I've been getting light cramping and lower back pain on and off for the last 2 days. Today I've also had a bit of indigestion after breakfast - AF is due a week today so it's very early days. Not sure what to think! Will have to watch, wait and hope! X

I’m 4dpo and been having hot spells, headaches and feeling dizzy, also some light cramping low down yesterday. But it’s too early for anything to be related to a potential pregnancy, think I was just stressed out and rushing about too much yesterday. I’ve ordered some FRER tests ready for next weekend but just found one in the bathroom cupboard too. When are you both planning to test?

Hiya ladies, can I join? I’m 4dpo today. Had a horrible cramp on the right of my pelvic area alllll day. Stocked up and ready with strips to pee on in a few days!
Fertility friend has predicted I ovulated on the day that I got my peak, due to my bbt. I just swapped from a bbt thermometer to using my Apple Watch so will be interested to see the difference.

Hey @ttcat37 looks like we’re the same dpo. What cycle is this for you? I’ve never bbt but my OH bought me the new Apple Watch to temp with and I’ve been using it this cycle. How are you finding it so far?

Hi @GemLou88! I think this is around cycle 7 or 8? I’m 37 so just started the process with my GP as well. I’m find the Apple Watch pretty good actually. For the first month I doubled up with my thermometer as well to compare, to make sure the Apple Watch would work. It works really well with fertility friend and not having to wake up the same time every day to take bbt is great. Here’s my chart for this month so far- as you can see the temperature shift is clear enough! How are you finding it? What cycle are you on?

@ttcat37 I’m on cycle 4, I’m 34 and ttc number 2. I think I’m using it right. I’ve set my sleep focus to the same time each morning to get a reading, and I just add the wrist temperature to my premom app. Just seems too easy that maybe I’m missing something 😂

Help. I’m TTC and using clear blue advanced to track ovulation. CD13 I received my static smiley, I tested the next day and received a negative test. I then tested again on CD17 and received a flashing smiley. I’m CD19 and still have a flashing smiley. My cycle is usually 26 days. I’m worried I didn’t ovulate the first time and this is my body trying to ovulate again?

Hi @Ted0503, I’m surprised it let you test the day after your static smiley 🧐 Usually it doesn’t allow you to test again in that cycle once you get a static smiley as that is peak fertility.
@GemLou88 I’m hoping to hold out for a potential missed period - the £££s I have wasted on early tests! But no doubt I’ll crack like I have all the other months 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve had similar before and read that the machine can do this & once you’ve had the static you should stop testing. I do continue with my cheapies though because I like the reassurance of seeing the line fade.

@Ted0503 I tried the clear blue ovulation test this month too and it confused me more than it helped me!

I'm having a very strange month - currently 8dpo. Extremely tired, cramps and lots of CM (mainly watery / creamy stuff) but yesterday had some EWCM thrown in there which threw me. Also have tingly nipples and headaches on and off. Did a test this morning which was stupid as it's so so early, but I couldn't resist. I think there's a shadow, DH can't see anything though. Thoughts please?

@joeyww can definitely relate to spending too much on tests! I’ve got some clear blue digital weeks tests waiting for when I hopefully get a BFP, some FRER tests and premom 🙈I’m hoping to hold out testing until Sunday, but I’m sure I won’t.
@peaky297 I can definitely see a shadow of a line. Will you test again tomorrow?

@GemLou88 also 100% there with you on the tests - absolute fortune! As we speak I have 2xdigital clear blues (saved for when I have clearer lines), 3 FRERs and a box of the cheap ones. Ridiculous I know 🙈😂

I'm in two minds of whether to test tomorrow - would be better if I waited I know, but I'm so keen to see if anything more develops from this morning! I'm also meant to be having a smear test tomorrow pm, so not sure what to do about that now 🤷‍♀️

@peaky297 id reschedule your smear test. Until you know for sure either way. But it’s looking promising to me. Fingers crossed for you and keep us updated when you next test

@joeyww i didn’t test for 48 hours after my static smiley. I tested after to make sure it was negative and received 1 negative before then going back to flashing smiley. Just wondering if I didn’t ovulate first time and this is a second surge

@Ted0503 I’m not sure if once you have a peak result if the test reader “resets” for a new cycle. And I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that every time you test for the first time in a new cycle you get the empty circle (might be rubbish). So could the reader have reset ready for the next cycle, you got the empty circle then the next test it’s shown the flashing smiley as your LH levels are still high but coming down? I’ve had it before with the ic tests that my LH levels have taken almost a week to come down after ovulation. Don’t know if that helps

@GemLou88 that does make sense thank you! It’s all so confusing this process, hate the waiting game!

These ovulation sticks might be more trouble than they’re worth! I used 7 this month, none of which showed peak fertility but ovulation confirmed from blood test - didn’t realise the LH surge can be so short-lived that daily testing might not capture it 🤦🏼‍♀️ Not sure I’ll bother next month - if I went for twice-daily testing I’d be getting through almost a pack a month! 😂 Might just use EWCM and my Flo app to guide…

Update from me - did another test this morning (yes I know...🙈😂)
There is a line again which I think is darker than yesterdays (DH can just about see it today and I haven't needed to edit the photo to see it on camera) - what do you think???

9dpo today and due AF Sunday. Symptoms wise, cramps on and off and boobs sore (nipples have intermittent tingling / burning), tired.

I’m 6dpo and been having an on and off dull pelvic ache and sort of pulling sensation. But we have had a day at the zoo today and my little one has been unwell and wanted carrying everywhere so could be because of that 🤷‍♀️
