Hi all! As the title suggests, I have set this up as a space for those of us who are TTC and in that long wait between ovulation and when AF is due!
So, to kick us off... I have been TTC #2 since November. Had one chemical in that time and now well into the TWW with AF due on Tuesday! After spending a lot of money on early tests / having the disappointment of a chemical I am now avoiding early testing and will instead wait until AF is late, but zero judgement on anyone who likes to test early - I totally get the urge!

Hey @peaky297 so hard not to symptom spot! But yours all sound positive. Fingers crossed for you this cycle.
I’m ok thank you. Symptom spotting too and obsessively checking my chart. Not that I know what it all means but I keep checking it anyway 😂 6dpo today. Been having cramps the last few days, backache and tiredness. On and off headaches and spots too! Been getting hot flashes through the day and feeling really hot at night too, which is the opposite to usual.

Hi @peaky297 - it’s so hard not to symptom spot isn’t it!? I am now 12 or 13dpo and still no period, it’s due today or tomorrow but all my cramps have gone. My test yesterday was negative. I’m not hopeful. I thought my temp had dropped yesterday but I took it twice - once at 5am and then 6:30am. At 5am it was 36.83 and at 6:30am it was 36.33. If I go with my first then my temp didn’t drop. I didn’t take me temp this morning so I can cling onto hope.

If you know when your fertile window is then you don’t really need OPKs. They can add stress, can’t they? And they are bloody expensive. I bought premom OPKs this month to save money.

me and my partner have now been trying to conceive since our chemical pregnancy in January, I have been all over the place looking for answers as I feel I have lost my sanity over this, I am 7days late for AF, I am having all the symptoms apart from morning sickness, but my tests are coming up as negative, my body is very regular, has anyone had this problem before, am I just unlucky this month where my body has decided to play a huge trick on me ? Would love some advice! :)

@Mummie123 sorry to hear about your loss - perhaps this has affected your cycles? You could always speak to your gp to see if you could have a blood test to be sure?

@GemLou88 I'm ok thanks! Around 10dpo today. Usual PMS symptoms, except I've had some light cramping on and off today which feels a bit early as I'm not due AF until the weekend. Who knows 🫣 how are you?

@peaky297 10dpo… when will you test?
I’m 7dpo and feel it’s dragging. I had some sharper cramps and shooting pains that seemed to go right down low, and work stress has made me emotional today. Just want to get to the weekend xx

My period came today, so disappointed :(

My ovulation has confused me this month. My OPKs never did get darker since cd10, I was due to ovulate (going by apps and previous cycles) yesterday… I felt twinges in my side the day before yesterday so fingers crossed it did happen. My RHR and BBT are on the rise the past 2 days so that looks good but WHY did I not get a positive OPK?! I get why some of you said they’re stressful. Do you all track BBT? x

Hey @sashastuck I’ve been bbting the last 3 cycles, but only because my OH got me the new Apple Watch for Christmas, but it’s become something I obsess over now which isn’t good. Keep using the OPK’s, you might ovulate in a few days. Hopefully O isn’t far away for you.
I tested today and got a BFN, which isn’t surprising being 8dpo. Just feel a bit shitty today. Tired, emotional, headache and like I’m coming down with a cold. Hopefully a good sleep will sort me out

I'm in limbo ... BFN yesterday morning at 11dpo and also felt a bit crampy yesterday too. Wiped when I got up this morning and there was a little bit of pink blood so thought bugger, AF has arrived early. I had a little bit more spotting upon wiping (not enough to warrant a pad) but nothing more since. It also looks a little different to usual - is anyone going to be freaked out by a TMI pic??

I’m driving myself crazy, 9dpo and convincing myself I’m out because I haven’t seen a implantation dip on my chart. Going to test tomorrow but not feeling great about it

Ok, you have been warned! Please see attached - does this look a bit different to the usual start of period spotting to you? Or am I just giving myself false hope again 🫣

I almost feel like giving up. I’m 40 and have a nearly 3 year old. Maybe I should just be happy with my lot (which I am). I just wanted a sibling for my little girl.
@peaky297 I usually get pink spotting before my period… It’s one of those where it might be or might not be implantation. Just like when you have cramps and it might be or might not be pregnancy. I despise the two week wait so much. Hoping this is your month xXx

@sashastuck OPKs are stressful - I used Premom for the first time this month and found them hard. The Clearblue ones are better but cost a fortune! I tried temping this month, too. Might not do it again.

@GemLou88 I think I read that you don’t always see an implantation dip?

@GemLou88 from all the mad researching I’ve done since starting bbt this month I’d say an implantation dip definitely isn’t a must!! Stay positive!

@peaky297 well to me that doesn’t look like the start of AF, especially if it’s unusual for you. Fingers crossed! Normally mine starts brownish… sorry haha. But that looks pinky!

I think I'm out girls - just had some more spotting when I wiped and it looked a lot more AF like as it had a couple of small clots in it, which I'm pretty sure is a no no for implantation bleeding. Plus my sore boobs have eased off as they do right before AF and my "PMS rage" has lifted too.

I thought I had a chance with it being early and I usually start off with brown spotting, but it's looking a lot less likely now.

Sorry I can't be of any help around the temping side of things as I've never done it. It seems confusing to me so I've been avoiding it 🙈

@Kirstyddd that could be an implantation dip. What’s your temp looking like today? My temp dropped a little this morning but is still high. I took a test (10dpo) and have the faintest of lines. What do you ladies think? Xx

@GemLou88 its high than the line again today, sorry I luck like I’m being stupid it’s the first time I am doing it

@Kirstyddd don’t be silly. It’s only my 3rd month charting and I’m still learning about it. Hopefully your temp continues to climb over the next few days xx

@GemLou88 i don’t feel anything really I did have the odd few pills and tugs here and there for a few days but I’m not sure if I have been imagining them

Eurgh I don't know what's going on - I expected AF in full force this morning, but whilst im still spotting it's eased off (see attached)
Sore boobs not back as such, but got tingly nips so good knows.
Going to wait and see what happens now today and if AF doesn't come will try a test tomorrow morning 🤪
