Hi all! As the title suggests, I have set this up as a space for those of us who are TTC and in that long wait between ovulation and when AF is due!
So, to kick us off... I have been TTC #2 since November. Had one chemical in that time and now well into the TWW with AF due on Tuesday! After spending a lot of money on early tests / having the disappointment of a chemical I am now avoiding early testing and will instead wait until AF is late, but zero judgement on anyone who likes to test early - I totally get the urge!

I'm okay thank you, bleeding stopped yesterday so I'm back on the DTD train 🤣🥳 doing SMEP this month and started yesterday

@Angelselevenx glad your bleeding has stopped now. Fingers crossed for this cycle. Are your OPK’s still high?

@GemLou88 thanks lovely. No they've dropped right down now but whilst they were fairly high I DTD so at least if it was an early ovulation I've hopefully caught it. If my cycle isn't too messed up I'll be ovulating on the 21st so still got plenty of time. How're you doing? X

@Angelselevenx hopefully you won’t be too out from your normal, and the rise and fall of LH is your body getting back on track.
I’m ok thank you. Still confused by my temp, but I know I ovulated now so into the waiting game I go. Just don’t hold out much luck for this cycle with it being long, funny temps and only dtd twice in my fertile window xx

@GemLou88 it only takes once remember, you never know! Glad you've ovulated though, my temp took 2 days or so to rise above cover line after ovulation if it's any consolation.

Yeah I think it was just leftover LH to be honest, it's back down at a barely visible line now on the LH test this morning so I think it's back on track. I've made my OH hide the pregnancy tests so I can't test early, although if I do ovulate as normal (CD21) I'll have to test on 12dpo as we have a family wedding that weekend... better than 9DPO I guess!

@Angelselevenx thank you, that does help. My OPK’s have only just faded from being pretty much peak since Sunday. Hopefully another temp rise tomorrow will show ovulation on my app.
well done on getting your OH to hide the tests. I seem to keep ordering more and have so many in my cupboards and draws. My DB and SiL are also ttc so my excuse is I’ll give her some tests 😂😂

How are you both? What's the latest?

I don't temp and didn't use sticks this month either as they just make me stress and I wanted a relaxed month. I think I caught O though as I had lots of EWCM on the days around my predicted O date on my app - DTD 3 times that week so 🤞

If my guessed O date right, I'm around 5 or 6dpo. So far nothing out of the ordinary. Sore boobs, bloating and mood swings - all typical PMS symptoms for me. I did have a vivid dream that I could feel implantation and was pregnant but I doubt that means anything!

I’m on approx 6 DPO (didn’t OPK this month so can’t be certain - going by app prediction and CM). Unfortunately though, I think I’m out already!
Yesterday and today I’ve had period-like cramps. Usually get them in the week before AF which is due on the 21st so they’ve started a bit early, but I guess she’s going to show her face a bit sooner!

its my first time using Opk’s and I’m already starting to hate them already, they make absolutely no sense to me,

I started testing on cd5 as I had no base line and since then none of them had shown anything major,

they are just giving me worry

Hey @peaky297 and @Cinnamon23 I’m a few days behind you both at 3dpo but been having lots of AF type cramping. Feels like AF is on her way or like AF is here already which it’s not.

@Kirstyddd I had the same trouble with OPKs the past 2 months - getting highs but no peaks. I reckon my peaks are short and happen overnight as I’ve had high evening and morning readings. This month is going to be my last attempt at them before I put them away, too stressful!!

@Kirstyddd sometimes my OPKs can be funny and fluctuate. But I think that’s because my body tries to ovulate and doesn’t then tries again later. You might be a person that gets a sudden rise and fall closer to your ovulation date. I always found testing in the evening better. Fingers crossed you find a peak on them.

@Cinnamon23 I don't want to get your hopes up, but 6dpo is prime implantation time, so perhaps the cramps aren't AF related, but implantation related?

I had a really odd sharp pain right above my Pubic bone about an hour ago and felt a bit excited as I'm also around 6dpo and thought it could be implantation pain, but then I let out a huge burst of wind and the pain was gone 🙈😂

@GemLou88 what cycle day are you on now?

@peaky297 I’m on CD35, 3dpo. No idea when AF is due but going to guess around next Friday. Longest cycle ever. I was hoping my cycles were getting back to normal. I’m thinking of seeing my GP to get some bloods done like my thyroid function. I had half of it removed 10 years ago and my levels have always been borderline and not needed medication for it but might have changed now.
What CD are you on? Xx

@GemLou88 I'm on CD 25 on what is usually a 32/33 day cycle, so I still have a bit of a wait yet!

Perhaps a check up with the drs is a good idea if your cycles are all over the place - better safe than sorry and all that!

I’m also on the TWW, currently 10DPO and started cramping yesterday. My cycles are around 28 days and my period is due Monday/Tuesday. I have a sore spot on the side of my mouth and what I hate about the TWW is you wonder if everything is a symptom! I took temps this month, which is new to me. I also used Premom OPKs, also new to me (I usually use ClearBlue but they are so expensive!!!). I am trying for baby no. 2 and am 40 years old. I had a missed miscarriage in December after trying since April.

I kind of wish I didn’t start temping as I am getting obsessed by it and I know every time it dips I’ll feel sad. This is my graph, not sure if it’s good or bad!?

That’s a good point, I did consider it but wasn’t sure (also not wanting to get my hopes up haha).

It’s definitely possible! On CD5/6 they were definitely more like the dull achy cramps we associate with AF rather than the sharp tugs people have described as implantation - but I have had a few of those too, just to complicate matters. 😂

Hey ladies. How are you all getting on? My app has finally confirmed O and put it a day later than I though, so now 4dpo. I’ve had on and off cramping but most of today a constant ache low where my public bone is. Dtd tonight too and it felt different. I know it’s too early for anything to be symptoms but I just feel off with it all. How’s everyone else getting on?

I’ve been putting my OPK pictures into Premom this month for the first time and my God it’s just adding another layer of stress and obsession! I’ve not managed to get a super strong peak the past 2 months but am pretty sure I did ovulate. This month I’m doing BBT too. Look at my OPKs so far - no idea why Premom detected a peak, it definitely wasn’t. But where I thought my lines were getting stronger, it’s now gone weaker again! I’m due to ovulate on the 18th so I guess there’s still a chance for it to go dark again before then. DTD every day from yesterday until Thurs just in case… X

Hey @sashastuck could it be that you tried to ovulated but didn’t? You might get another surge in a few days. Unless you missed your peak overnight on cd10. How’s your temp looking? That might be able to confirm.
I’m doing ok thank you. Still feeling cramps and a bit off. My temp shot up yesterday so I’m hoping it’s a good sign

@sashastuck I found OPKs so stressful too so stopped using them. Might go back later on if it doesn't happen in the next couple of months though! I just figure stress can't help?

I'm 8 or 9 dpo and trying not to symptom spot, but it's inevitable! All the usual PMS symptoms of sore boobs etc - only out of the norm things:

• spots on my face
• back ache (but I've been doing a lot out the garden, so it may be from that)
• very tired in the morning, but hard to fall asleep at night
• a bit constipated

Will have to wait and see! X

@peaky297 that all sounds positive! I'm okay, thanks for asking 😊 CD17 so fingers crossed O day will be in the next 3/4 days if my cycles aren't to messed up from my CP 🤞🏼 feeling excited but nervous, trying to not get my hopes up reading positive stories of falling after a CP and trying to remember what will be will be. My friend had a CP on cycle 2 and then fell on cycle 6 so need to be mindful that it may not happen.

OPK are negative, temp is stable so I'm hoping to see a big LH surge soon and a temp drop! Eek xx
