Just did another test and star white!! So I’m thinking it was a chemical or dye run. Now I really am out of tests 😅 So forced to wait for AF on Friday!! Im better just not having tests in the house as I’ve had a few false alarms and it’s so disappointing

@Tophy124 aw big hugs to you - hope you're ok. It is still potentially early so you never know for certain until AF appears. 🤞🏻

Thanks @NatGee and @Sierra26 ! Really interesting to see how your body changes isn't it. I'm useless at listening to my body but really going to try and see if I notice anything around ovulation.

Hi @MilkyAndFluffy! So tested this morning and definitely not pregnant. Weirdly I stopped spotting the day before yesterday (after 5 days of spotting) and now I've come on properly? How weird is that! I'm normally so regular and this is the same as the previous month! Why! 😔😔 xxx

CD17 today. Why is this part such a drag? Actually if I feel like I'm always waiting. Waiting for fertile window, 2ww, waiting for af to come and go and off again 🤦🏼‍♀️ 🥱

@MilkyAndFluffy I'm cd15 and finally it looks like I've had my LH serge, mine Is so weird it literally comes out of nowhere it's not a gradual increase over a few days it just spikes on one day so it's so easy to miss. So I imagine I'll ovulate in the next 1-2 days. My husband is a bit under the weather though so I'll have to really work some special charm to entice him into a few more days dtd! I'm glad you've been more chill too, it definitely keeps it way more fun. We'll still be testing around the same time though which is nice and will make the worst bit of the cycle more bearable. I'm off on hols basically when I'll be testing end of next week so I'll just focus on that instead. You'll have to keep me posted if you feel any early symptoms. Sending all the lucky vibes xxx

Is it normal to have a period of 7 days and still have ovulation as predicted on CD14?or will this move too? What happens if testing that I don't get a static smiley? Does that mean I don't ovulate this month? Can you not ovulate some months? I thought you had to if you have a regular period each month? Xx

@Maxime34 i also have this! My LH was 0.1 in the morning and was a peak by 9pm the same day… so hard to catch it!

Oh I'm glad it's not just me @Superstorefan123 it stresses me out so much especially when it's a day late like this month I convince myself I missed it. I feel like the tests do this so you buy a million of them, I honestly keep them in business.

@Maxime34 I often have to accept a 0.8 or similar as a ‘peak’ as I think I often peak overnight so can’t be getting up at 3am to test!

I also go from nothing to peak really rapidly. I found clear blue somehow was better able to catch my ovulation days.

Has anyone had an HSG? My dr has put in paperwork for me but I’m terrified!!

@LotzW i feel exactly the same 🙈 I spend my months waiting for period to finish, waiting for fertile period, waiting for peak, 2ww, af, and repeat. Currently cd15 and no static smiley yet.

@Tophy124 I have! For me it was quite intense pain BUT the pain lasted like 30 seconds and I would 100% do it again for the peace of mind. Definitely worth it

Only thing I would say is don’t get caught up in the idea it boosts your fertility for a few months - studies are limited and it certainly hasn’t been the case for me.

Cycle day 1 started for me today. Happy valentines day to Me lol

Hi everyone, just popped over from the October thread as I am CD1 today. Baby Dust to all ❤️

@Floralsandsmiles it can mean you've just not ovulated for this month, sometimes we just skip it for no reason and there's nothing to worry about, it just happens. If it happens a few times I would definitely go see the GP for tests to be safe.
Other thing is you could just have a short peak and have missed it testing once a day, which is why it's good to be dtd once you see the flashing. You can have flashing for ages sometimes before the static so testing for now would be my advice and fingers crossed it comes in the next day or so x

Hi @Natty83! Thank you for your reply! If I'm having a regular period each month, that will mean I'm ovulating each month though, doesn't it? You can't have one without the other I read? Or do you mean the static smiley? As it could have been brief and between testing? Therefore always DTD when flashing or when you get a peak (on easy at home) tests? Xxx

@Floralsandsmiles i would start tracking BBT if I were you - it is the only real way to confirm ovulation! A regular period normally means ovulation but it isn’t a definite unfortunately:( I’ve had very regular months and confirmed lack of ovulation!

I am beginning to track bbt and ovulation tests as I don't know if the prediction is accurate on what date it thinks it is. Currently it thinks its Cd14 and that's the 20th February. However, I can see LH rising and not bbt. Only problem with bbt is once its High you've missed your window right? Whereas with the ovulation tests when it's peak you have 24 hours at least to DTD? Xxx

I think eventually I’ll be sliding into the IVF threads (if they exist) BUT I really want to give it our all whilst we wait for those doors to open… they’re already ajar! We go for our first consultant appointment Friday!

@Floralsandsmiles of course! Yep BBT can only confirm you actually ovulated - it does nothing to predict ovulation!

Im sure with a regular cycle you are ovulating :) I think most people who aren’t ovulating probably don’t get a period but there are always exceptions to the rule (I’ve certainly been that person!)

Yep, I tend to DTD every 2-3 days except when I get a LH peak and then I do it daily for a couple of days… probably too much but after 10 months of trying and 2 losses I’m giving it all I have!

@lottieb92 welcome and good luck! We are in a similar boat (already on clomid) of wanting to give it our all before more invasive treatment!

@Floralsandsmiles How long are your cycles, and what day are you on? I wouldnt trust the apps predicted ovulation day - they put day 14 as that is 'average' but not many of us are average. I was also wondering this month if my ovulation day would move as I had the opposite - a short 3 day period - and it hasnt moved at all, and actually checking back through my cycles I have had long periods too and it hasnt affected O by more than 1 day.
try not to worry, Im sure everything is fine and you ovulate later than the 'average'
I am now in my tww after the most obvious LH rise I've had in a looong time. I am usually a quick peaker and dont think I have ever seen a true positive, but this month it was more gradual and definite positive which is reassuring. I have been taking extra good care of myself so maybe its working :) Think I am going to have to test early on 10 DPO next friday as I am going away that weekend and want to know if I can drink! Goign to try and be less crazy about it all this month, I have been really obsessive and its just not worth it.

@Superstorefan123 aww OK, thank you. Well I know I'm definitely getting EWCM too each month, I just haven't pin pointed that date before in connection to ovulation, this is the first month of doing that..
