Morning everyone, I just came across this thread but I got my BFP yesterday at 8dpo. We started trying in August 2022 and fell pregnant first cycle but unfortunately mc at 8 weeks. I'm both trying not to get too excited and trying to not to worry...both easier said than done!

We both have children from a previous relationship but this will be our first together, I just pray to God it sticks 🙏🏼 ❤️

Tests were taken with SMU and I honestly just expected to see stark white as last time I didn't get a bfp until 14dpo. I cracked open cheap test as the viewing window was a bit crap to see through.

I have everything crossed for you . I thinking Saturday . I had a positive OPK Sunday 19th feb :) the temptation to test is real 😂

This is the 2nd month of tracking ovulation with OPKs so I was very aware of when I was ovulating and I also cut caffeine out completely, I don’t think that would have had a huge effect but though.

@ExcitedandNervousC1 hey 👋🏼 I've been on decaf tea and coffee since September, also been taking folic acid since then aswell as vitamin D buy upped it a few months ago to max daily amount along with vit b6 as I was spotting for days before af arrived and that can be a sign of low progesterone. I didn't use pre seed this month just left it to my body but I did take evening primrose oil capsules upto ovulation. I did use the fertilily cup but a cheaper version off ebay because although fertilily is worth it if it works it's still expensive for what it is. I put it in and left it for upto 8 hours as seen others had done this and I know you can leave a period cup in for that time so thought no harm in trying. Can't be certain if any of it's helped but here I am so defo worth a shot 🥰 also been having a glass of fresh orange with my dinner every day.

@lottieb92 exactly! without wanting to sound like a quack, apparently strong ovulations bring on pain. I only started feeling ovulation pains the last couple of months, like a twinge and pulling. Could be a good sign, crossing my fingers for the both of us

@bbypinkluffie I am so sorry to hear that, sometimes our bodies play cruel tricks on us. I had a very long cycle back in July last year, I was a whole 7 days late and AF eventually arrived. Such an awful time, waiting to see what is what. How many dpo are you now?

@ExcitedandNervousC1 there's a lot of waiting during ttc. do you have any ideas how you plan on distracting yourself during this time?

@Mrsrobinsonx sorry to hear of your cp... it's so disappointing. crossing my fingers its a sticky one this time

@Mummyme87 very sensible, that way youve covered all bases. Also sometimes surges are so quick that we miss them, could that have happened do you think?

@Mushroo I see! To be honest, I would be a serial tester if AF didn't arrive by 12dpo each month. Ive been lucky in that respect that I dont end up obsessing but on the flipside I do wish my luteal phase was more like 14 days. Do you opk at all?

@JJ2023 I can imagine, here's hoping for your rainbow baby 😘good thing is conceiving is not an issue, something that I wonder with my DH and I. Do you have children already?

@seeyouinanotherlifewhenwearebothcats hey we're testing buddies!! Have you gone ahead with it yet? I have to wait until later as DH wants to do it together. I saved my fmu in a cup waiting for him to get up. Glamorous I know :)

Congratulations to all with BFPs. Great to see so much good news!
I'm on CD24, according to app I should be ovulating tomorrow. I'm not too sure how accurate that is as my cycles are irregular. We dtd everyday for the last few days hoping the app is right! 🤞
Will be more consistent with opks next month if needed! Feel I missed the peak this month if I had one! Its all a learning curve!

Hello . I feel ok . My chemical was actually not planned at all as my coil came out and was unaware , only realised when I tried to feel for the threads ( it was fairly new and I had to check for them every couple weeks ) so did a test and it was positive . Kept testing and it got lighter each time eventually had my period . We have now decided to try for a couple of months and if it happens it happens :) I feel a bit sick today and really off . I’m so tempted to test I have some cheap sticks 😅

Thanks @NatGee I plan to join next week all being well, just want to get past af due date because it still feels so surreal especially with it being early. I tested again this morning and the lines are slightly more prominent so hopefully the difference between tomorrow and yesterday's will be even better. I'm cramping which I know is totally normal but every time I go to the toilet I'm bracing myself for the worst 😔 you'd think getting a positive test would be a good thing and it is but the anxiety is real right now!

Not really much to report on my end, seem to have a few lingering symptoms from my chemical (super nauseous still) but cd12 so tonight I will start doing my opks just to try and make sure I don't miss it as its been a bit variable since my ectopic. Other than that just heaps of anxiety and stress from non baby making stuff going on at home, so just trying to stay positive and get through each day and hope it gets better.
