@monsteramunch The digi's lower limit is 25miu so you have at least that amount but probably more. The upper limit on a FRER is 100miu I think before you start getting a dye stealer so likely you're somewhere in between 25-100 🤓

You're so knowledgeable about all this, it's so helpful Flowers

Not sure what to do testing wise, I guess test each morning for the next few days to check on line progression?

monsteramunch · 05/02/2023 08:26

theblueflowers · 05/02/2023 08:21

@monsteramunch it's absolutely darker! That's looking like perfect progression. Congratulations, lovely x

Thank you so much Flowers

This still feels like an absolute dream

bringmearainbow · 05/02/2023 08:26

@monsteramunch wohooo those digis def not super sensitive so that's fantastic and the frer def darker. Will you tell Dh now you have a digital confirmation? I've only had it in one pregnancy the baby steals all your saliva apparently because it needs the fluid 😂

monsteramunch · 05/02/2023 08:37

@bringmearainbow

Haha isn't it amazing all the random things our bodies do!

I think I'm going to wait until it's nearly a dye stealer. It's been so long and we've had 13 cycles of disappointment so I don't want to put him through that again until we're a bit more firmed up.

We'll have some serious admin to do too as are currently in a one bed and while I know that's doable for the first six months, it would be ideal to move before (please god!) mini munch arrives.

There's a few things that make our current place a bit tricky logistics wise so I'm excited to move but it's a right palaver!

emhope · 05/02/2023 08:45

Wow haven’t been on in a while and so much to catch up on!

@monsteramunch massive congratulations 😀💕 such amazing news really pleased for you. The lines look great on FRER and also great to get the digital 1-2 this early!!

@LuckyMoonstone so pleased your scan went well. You have made me feel a little better with the frequent scanning 😆 I had private one at 8+1 and got another booked for today 😳 at 9+6.

Been reading the info on their website though and it says about having 2 weeks between scans but may do it sooner in certain cases. Wondering what to do as only 12 days since last scan… should I keep quiet or ask them 🤨 really want it today as this is the time I had the miscarriage last time and can’t get there for another week if I wait..

@FfayeN Happy Birthday for yesterday 💐

@MrsJGrealish that must have been an impressive text 😆 have you had your chat yet?

bunnykins123 · 05/02/2023 09:01

@monsteramunch defo darker 👏 congratulations!

@FfayeN I do understand how you feel. I think when you are in the limbo stage of investigations, you can feel a bit lost. I did find having getting answers helpful as it allowed me to reach out to support groups who also had the same as me for advice / support. I keep in touch with a few via WhatsApp. I think what I'm trying to say is that it can feel like quite a lonely time whilst your in limbo but once you have the answers, you will probably feel more in control and have a plan to work towards. I think you'll also feel better once spoken to the consultant who understands the results better than any of us. 💕

bunnykins123 · 05/02/2023 09:05

@emhope good luck for your scan today! I'm also another 'serial scanner' and I do think they help at temporarily calming your nerves. I also read about having 2 weeks between scans, I'm not sure why - I never did get any conclusive reasoning although there was something about having regular scans and having a left handed writing child (weird, huh!) I think do what's best for you, I can't imagine scans do much of anything really. Keep us updated 💕

Indianna2006 · 05/02/2023 09:25

@monsteramunch yay for the digital confirmation and it’s deffo darker hun for sure. I would think you can tell your DH with that digital confirmation but totally get why you may want to wait.
re testing every day for line progression is an individual thing I think. Your two are deff diff and second one is darker today but won’t necessarily always be the case. Sometimes the next morning it can look very similiar as it’s not usual for hcg to take 4-72 hours to double. A then cause panic.
I always left 36-48 hours ideally 48 hours between mine to stop the panic and see certain progression. But each to their own on that one 😊😊

I know after waiting so long to see a positive test when you’ve never had one. You just want to keep taking them and seeing it 😅😊 the first time you ever see a line on a test is pretty special.

@emhope I think as far as I’m aware..they say every 2 weeks so that they can see significant growth. I think at the beginning the growth is not always exactly linear. And so going too close together again can cause panic etc ie that you’re only 5 days later and it’s not grown exactly 5 days if that makes sense. 12 days out is basically 2 weeks you’ll be fine to go today I’d say 😄

@FfayeN aw bless you hun. It’s okay to take a back step and just follow the group etc. we are all in different scenarios really as time has progressed.
I just read everything and then add in where I can as obv I understand I’m at a different point now for other ppl. But still like to follow and help everyone out as and where I can

TheBirdintheCave · 05/02/2023 09:35

@emhope I'm sure 12 days is close enough :) Especially if you explain why having it now is important to you.

calimc83 · 05/02/2023 09:40

@monsteramunch whoop 🙌 that's definitely darker lovely! Let us know how it goes when u tell DH xx

bringmearainbow · 05/02/2023 09:42

Eurgh men can just piss off today 🙄 Dh has put me in a right strop

TheBirdintheCave · 05/02/2023 09:58

@bringmearainbow Oh dear what's he done?

LuckyMoonstone · 05/02/2023 09:58

@monsteramunch your line today is loads darker! You’re very strong willed to keep it a secret from DH I’d be desperate to blurt it out 😅

LuckyMoonstone · 05/02/2023 09:59

@emhope my next scan will be 13 days since my last one so I’m sure your 12 days is fine!

bringmearainbow · 05/02/2023 10:04

@TheBirdintheCave honestly it's the stupidest thing he got in a mood because apparently I put ketchup on his egg. so he prefers brown sauce but I like ketchup and honestly the eggs all looked the same we don't have them runny in this house they are all hard. so I started doing the sauce section of our sandwiches I was like do you want me to scrape it off no do you want me to put brown sauce over the top no do you want ketchup no. Bear in mind there were two eggs that he was still cooking in the pan with no sauce on I just wanted to say well fuck off then I was just being helpful should have just left him to it 😂 it was the way he sulked about it I was like well how was I meant to know that was your egg they are all the same 🤷🏼‍♀️

curliegirlie · 05/02/2023 10:24

Right, this is possibly my last or penultimate cycle on the TTC waggon but I'm currently paying for not tracking this cycle, and just hoping that I ovulated on CD16 like the past few cycles. BFNs up to Friday so I fully expect AF to rock up on Monday - unless I ovulated later and she's playing silly buggers and keeping me in suspense for longer. No spotting or sign of anything yet, but my last test on 10dpo (a Savers 6 day early one) was snowy white so fully expect we'll be on to the final cycle 14.

monsteramunch · 05/02/2023 10:36

@Indianna2006

I think leaving it to every other day is definitely better for me too - I didn't even want to test until AF was due but after a suspected chemical last month I felt like it was better to know what was going on a little earlier.

You're so right about the feeling of seeing an actual line - literally never even had a squinted before so it is all so surreal Flowers

@calimc83

Thanks so much, I'll keep you posted!

@LuckyMoonstone

Haha I'm a stubborn little shit so once I've decided something I can usually stick to it 😂 think I'll wait til I'm a couple of days late. Quite tempted to see how long until he notices I am late...!

Happinessandrainbows · 05/02/2023 11:20

@FfayeN sending you a virtual hug 🌸 it's so hard when you spent the last few months in limbo and had to put TTC on hold, I hope things will start moving forward with the right plan in place now.
Grey's anatomy sounds like a good way to distract yourself even for a bit, it really gets you all invested 🧑‍⚕️
Let us know how you get on tomorrow, will you be seeing your NHS consultant?
As for your friend, I know it's such mixed feelings when you're happy for them but sad for yourself. Hopefully your friend will be sensitive and understanding.
@monsteramunch as stressful as moving sounds, I think it will be an amazing distraction for you when the time comes. It will keep you busy and make the time go faster 😁🌸

TheBirdintheCave · 05/02/2023 11:32

@curliegirlie Fingers crossed this is the one for you x

@bringmearainbow Gosh that really is a daft reason for him to get annoyed 😂 🙄

pangolin84 · 05/02/2023 17:22

@monsteramunch Brilliant line progression for just 24 hours! 🙌
Personally, in previous cycles, I found testing every day incredibly stressful. If you can leave 2-3 days between tests that’s going to show a decent difference. I’ve done hardly any tests this time around. Still feel anxious but somehow not testing is helping me accept I have no control over the outcome.
The time is draaaaaagging though 😆

bringmearainbow · 05/02/2023 17:32

@TheBirdintheCave I know ridiculous 😂 I'm in a much better mood after popping to the stables all afternoon 🙊

TheBirdintheCave · 05/02/2023 18:56

@bringmearainbow Nice bit of horse therapy 😂

bunnykins123 · 05/02/2023 19:11

@bringmearainbow It's been such a lovely day to be outside with horses! Actually felt a bit like spring!

@curliegirlie got everything crossed for you 🤞

@pangolin84 I think frequent testing is a personal choice. Some people get a lot of reassurance with doing it, I'm someone who doesn't want to know - tested once and was too afraid to test again! I hope you're doing okay, do you have any symptoms?

bringmearainbow · 05/02/2023 19:51

@bunnykins123 @TheBirdintheCave it was bliss so sunny and spring like. I'm actually shattered now though 😂 think the last couple of busy weeks has finally caught up with me 🙈 but it's the end of the day and one day closer to Thursday l. Though saying that I really don't think it's going to be a BFP I just don't feel like it is at all

pangolin84 · 05/02/2023 20:17

@bunnykins123 Yes you’re right. Although I say I don’t like constant testing there are some days I just get the urge to test, mostly because I’m convinced it will be negative and all the previous were false positives.
Still no symptoms. Dry mouth has gone away and so has the creamy CM so feeling completely normal. Doesn’t help with the anxiety. 😢. Having said that I have some very mild achey feelings in my pelvis.
Still only 4+5 - not really sure when it’s all supposed to kick in. Trying to avoid thinking about it until Thursday and I can do the next weeks indicator.
