The TWW begins - testing 11/12 Feb.

Hi all

I’ve commented on a few threads but thought I would start a new one for anyone who may have ovulated over the weekend and now starting the TWW? Officially 1DPO today.

This is our first cycle trying to conceive #1. I came off the pill a few weeks ago, had my normal withdrawl bleed. Had flashing smileys last week with the static appearing on Saturday. I will assume I ovulated yesterday as I had a fair few cramps.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Im so over the TWW today, I’m tired, think I’m getting a cold and just want to know one way or another mainly because I want a glass of wine

@OnNaturesCourse hey, just dull achy pain down there today after horrible cramps last night. I think it was implantation last night as I felt like I was coming on but no blood. I’m 10dpo today and still bfn but I hear you’re supposed to wait till a few days after to test so hcg can rise. Will test again tomorrow.

how are you? I saw you got bfn too, we’re both still early! Any symptoms?

Not sure if this is anyway connected - but I have woken up the last two mornings wide awake very early! Yesterday was 3:30am and today was 4:10am. Wide awake, ready to start my day!

It’s 10DPO today but I am going to hold off testing until tomorrow afternoon. I actually haven’t shown DH the ‘faint’ tests as I want to wait until there are clear lines and surprise him. I’ve bought a cute little book saying ‘You’re going to be a Dad’ I will give him when it’s time! 😂

Yeh, and another BFN tonight on 2 early tests 😔 I know I'm only 10dpo BUT I know my body and I just feel it's not happened this month if that makes sense.

Only thing I've achieved this month is sore eyes from squinting so much 😂👀

Of course I'll continue testing until AF shows up right enough, like to pee on money a lot these days!

Been really achy all day, a bit like constipation pains but real low in my pelvis. I'm beyond shattered too. Skin and hair have gone greasy too which usually happens when AF is gearing up but was also the first symptom of being pregnant with my first 😂🤰 so... Who knows.

I am swinging from being totally OK with whatever happens to obsessively squinting at blank tests under the bathroom light for half an hour...then going back for one last check lol.

@LittleMiss2023 I have been the same. Like wide awake. Falling asleep has been a bit more difficult too despite the tiredness.

5DPO, woke up today feeling really crampy and about to get period (which is still about 2 weeks away). Also nausea but that may just be because I am a wee Hungry Horace this morning.

@Kittenmum89 i caved and tested despite promising myself I wouldn’t. BFN 9dpo which I expected. I’ve definitely caught a cold so just feeling sorry for myself today! Zero symptoms
really.

How is everyone else today?

I was waking up very early even before my little girl and being wide awake for the last few days , around 3/4am like PP.

I had some spotting yesterday and lots of cramping, have had cramping throughout the past week

I am so bloated!

I had been testing negative and last test I took was on Sunday (9DPO) which resulted in BFN

I took a test this morning (12DPO) and I cannot believe my eyes... BFP

I was so so scared cos the fear of seeing a BFN after trying for months and months...

I'm sending baby dust to everyone, it's still early days yet, even just 3 days makes such a big difference. I was shocked xx

10DPO and BFN on fmu.

Had vivid dreams all night and this morning I woke up straight after a dream where I was weeing (all over) a stick and it came up positive up 10 dpo 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

Trying to think of the positives! I can start badly running again and have hot baths soon 😂

I just had loads of weird discharge. It was thick, globby and had a slight yellow tint which I’ve never had before.

A google rabbit hole has suggested it might be a positive sign. Has anyone else had weird discharge?

How's everyone else doing? I'm only 2/3dpo so got a long wait ahead! With my first I didn't get my BFP until 15dpo and it was super faint then! It's my third cycle since my periods finally returned in November (I was bf my first and it really affected my periods!). My LO just turned 2 and we'd love a little sibling for him. I'm late 30s so conscious it might all take a bit longer etc...

Love seeing the positive stories on these threads!

@Mushroo with my first I got really spotty face around 4dpo, then noticed creamy discharge around 9dpo. I also got super gassy and my boobs got really heavy/tender around 10dpo. I then had pre-period type cramps around the time I usually would (couple of days before my period would be due) but of course then got my (super faint!) BFP 15dpo. Given I had such a clear progression of symptoms last time I'm now super alert to every spot etc 😬😆

Hope you don’t mind me jumping on this thread, really wish I had found this throughout the TWW as I’ve been Googling every symptom and counting down days for what feels like an eternity!

I’m currently 9dpo and only 3 months ttc so I know it’s still very early days to be stressing out over things but I can’t help it! I’ve been using the easy at home tests from 7dpo with 0 shadows or faint lines etc… definately making a resolution to not test early in future feel like it’s a form of self torture at this stage squinting at a test so much!

I’ve slept 10 hours the last two nights from complete exhaustion and I’ve had mild to moderate cramping and back pain the last few days but to be honest I think I’m just imagining everything in my body at this stage!

So glad to have found a group of people going through the same thing, OH thinks I’m obsessed (I’m aware I am) and my friends either have recently gave birth or have no intentions to conceive anytime soon!

Trying to hold out to 11th to test with a FRER which would be around 12dpo, but already the temptation to use one tomorrow is killing me!

Gingerjanee you’re the same DPO as me! I caved and tested but obviously was a BFN. Going to try and hold off to the weekend now I think! I just want to know either way now so I can stop obsessing over everything. Swear I’m imaging half of it!

I'm going to join in too after lurking for a little while. Currently 5DPO and planning to test from
Sunday. I got a BFP at 9DPO with my last baby so fingers crossed it can happen again. This is our last cycle of TTC naturally before moving on to Letrozole so would really love for this to happen for us.

I'm SO bloated and nauseous the last couple of days. I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot this time but it's much easier said than done isn't it?!

also welcome to the newcomers! Good to hear from more people. 11dpo here, I won’t be testing today. Trying to hold off a few days to let hcg build up :) I tested early and shouldn’t have! We are still in the running ladies
