The TWW begins - testing 11/12 Feb.

Hi all

I’ve commented on a few threads but thought I would start a new one for anyone who may have ovulated over the weekend and now starting the TWW? Officially 1DPO today.

This is our first cycle trying to conceive #1. I came off the pill a few weeks ago, had my normal withdrawl bleed. Had flashing smileys last week with the static appearing on Saturday. I will assume I ovulated yesterday as I had a fair few cramps.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Just took another test with FMU, again the faintest of faint, if anything. Still not getting too excited yet, and I think if I can I will try and hold off testing until Thursday or Friday!! Need those clear lines 😂

So good to see some BFP’s coming through, and for the BFN’s, you’re not out yet!!

Fingers crossed for you. I've done 6 tests today just to make sure and they all have lines 🙈😀 still not sunk in yet

That’s so exciting!! Are you going to get a digital? I don’t think it would feel real to me until I saw the word ‘Pregnant’ on the screen!!

I didn't know if it would show yet as I'm only 9dpo. I'll maybe wait till the weekend to get one of them.

last night my cramps got worse and today they feel so painful like as if my period is about to come on. Could that be implantation cramps? It’s so bad I’m actually using a hot water bottle. Backache too

I had horrible cramps last night, but like a pulling/pinging sort of achy pain aswell. Could very well just be reading too much into things though.

When I was TTC my first I was told to avoid hot baths etc... I don't know if that's a real thing or issue but I've avoided that and hot water bottles but it's all I wanted last night. I was so uncomfortable.

Tonight I just feel tight across the tummy but that could be the workout I had today. But I am very burny "down there" like I've had s*x when too dry or I have cystitis starting 😭 my CM is pretty dry but what I do get is thick, stretchy like slime.

Sorry for TMI I just process everything better when bouncing it off others.

My Fitbit has just told me heart rate is high, so either I’m dying or it could be a good sign?

Another BFN for me this morning. Not due till the weekend so you never know but I'm sure I've been able to test positive on earlier pregnancies sooner than this so not holding out much hope now for this month... just a teensy bit of hope 🙈🤣

Regarding the baths - I need to take daily baths (medical issue) and did throughout both previous pregnancies I know it's anecdotal so no one should pay attention to me I just take it not to have crazy steamy hot baths, keep it warm so it's nice but not too hot etc.

I tested again this morning with a FRPT and I swear at a certain angle I can see a very faint line but my partner says there's nothing there. I'm 10 DPO, so I guess it's still could be a bit to early, or maybe I'm just going crazy 😂
Anyone else had BFP this morning?

Morning! How is everyone today? Did another test today and to be honest I can't see any line today. I thought there would be some progression but maybe the test yesterday wasn't right. Feeling a little meh today but hey ho.

Morning! Still just feeling tired and like I might be getting a cold. I’ve decided I’m going to hold out testing as long as possible. I’m 8dpo today and Google suggests today / tomorrow is the most likely day for implantation so fingers crossed! Going to take it easy.

@madeofcodes that’s so rubbish. Hopefully it’s a dodgy test and you’ll get a nice clear BFP soon! Other than feeling deflated how are you?

So I caved 🙈 11DPO and BFN! I only had what I’m hoping was implantation bleeding on Sunday night. Surely would be positive by now or does it take a few days for HCG levels to increase?
Felt positive yesterday but now feeling like might just been a random spotting.

Not even a hint of anything aside from the usual grey indent (when did FRER get so bad for these?!)

We’re still only early (I’m currently 9DPO) so as they say, not out until AF shows up. Look at me trying to be positive but second guessing my faint line yesterday! I really need to not test tomorrow I think and wait until at least Thursday (11DPO)

I am going to head to the shops today and pick up some more tests...just because I like torturing myself before AF shows up 😂 I feel like if I don't have a BFP by 12DPO then I will consider myself out this cycle.

Have you done another test since your faint?

I'm doing daily testing from now - it's our first month trying so I'm disregarding the financial hit for now. If it's going to take a few cycles I'll likely be more frugal but I find it actually helps with my emotions. Can't cope with the not knowing! It is still early yet.

hope you don’t mind me joining the party, but we are trying to make baby number 2 and I have very similar dates to you all.

Clearblue ovulation stick showed a solid smiley face on the 2nd of Feb, so we had a few days of doing the deed. Tested again on the 5th and got the empty circle, so must have ovulated.

I should be around 5 days PO, but have just been to the loo and have a fair bit of bright red bleeding. I’m assuming it’s my period rather than implantation as it’s certainly not light spotting!

I can’t help feel a period 5 days after ovulation feels extremely short though?

Usually period wise I am quite regular. I always assumed due to the regularity of my periods, I was also ovulating exactly halfway though my cycle.

With my son (who is now 3), it was literally a case of doing the deed once that month and getting preg straight away. I started tracking my ovulation properly this time as we started trying around October time using my fertility tracker app and nothing happened. Then started testing with the ovulation kits, which did show I was ovulating about a week later than my fertility tracking app had assumed.

I suppose I will just need to keep an eye on the bleeding and see what happens

Not to worry for those with BFN it could be a bit early. I have everything crossed for you all and sending baby dust.
I feel totally normal today, but again as only about 4 DPO I don't think I would feel much anyway.
Sometimes I wish there was a way to know immediately, like a wee notification on your phone even to just know if it had fertilized haha.

I hope it’s ok to join the thread! I am currently trying for baby #1 and this is cycle #2. I am currently 6dpo and finding the tww sooo painful!! I have had sore boobs since ovulation day but they are calming down now which worries me slightly. Trying to remain positive though that I’ll see those two precious lines eventually 🤞 Loved reading your experiences and it’s so nice to not feel so alone. X

Yesterday’s cramps turned really painful, I had to leave my step mums birthday gathering to go home and lay down. It felt exactly like my period was about to come on, with the pain radiating all around my back and down my thighs. I was in agony. Lasted about 3-4 hours at that intensity after I’d been cramping mildly all day.
now I have a dull achy & full feeling on my uterus.

i didn’t start bleeding (I’m 5 days early) so I thought it must be implantation, and decided I should hold off at least until this evening since it happened in the evening, but this morning (10dpo) couldn’t help myself and did another FRER. Bfn. But then out of curiosity I did a cheapie OPK and it’s blazing

not sure if I will retest tonight as planned or just wait till tomorrow

@Mushroo I mean it's not the end of the world is it really but I'm just a little sad today. I've had bad cramps for the past couple of hours. I'm 9DPO so I suppose there's still time. Next time I will force myself to not test until 10/11dpo.
