Hi all

I’ve commented on a few threads but thought I would start a new one for anyone who may have ovulated over the weekend and now starting the TWW? Officially 1DPO today.

This is our first cycle trying to conceive #1. I came off the pill a few weeks ago, had my normal withdrawl bleed. Had flashing smileys last week with the static appearing on Saturday. I will assume I ovulated yesterday as I had a fair few cramps.

Anyone else in the same boat?

@Peachyplumm hold on until AF is here. Very frustrating after the positive.

how is everyone else holding up ladies ? I am 8DPO . Now no more of the nausea I had a few days ago but today I am so bloated and keep having a sore cramp/twinge on my right side of my uterus ? Also feel a little bit sick on and off but just waves then it’s quickly gone again.

Anyone see the faintest line ever 🥶🥶 period is late by a day. Nausea and cramps for the last 4 days no period?

youre a day late I’d expect a darker line. Maybe retest later or tomorrow morning? Fingers crossed!

Me too! But I’m breastfeeding and had my first period on January 12th, so I’ve no idea of length etc.

AF has arrived, so that’s me out. Will have a curry and a drink tonight to cheer myself up. Februarys fertile window can’t come soon enough

AF has arrived (I think... 2 days early 🫠) during a 15 hour work day... brill! Spotting is red yes? Not brown like the beginning of a period?

Is anyone going to do anything differently this month? BD more or less? Vitamins? OPKs? Etc?

@madeofcodes sorry to hear! I’m waiting for mine coming today too 😭 I can feel it

@LittleMiss2023 I've been taking vitamin d this cycle which I think has helped me loads, so will continue with that. But I also bought soy isoflavones (for making ovulation come sooner) I didn’t get a chance to use it last cycle but will in the new cycle! I have irregular periods that can go on for ages and not sure if I always ovulate so that hopefully will help!

i don’t think I’ll do opk again. It puts so much pressure and makes it less fun. I actually had sex less with my partner doing that last month, usually we are every few days anyway.

i used preseed this cycle but not in the ovulation window bc I forgot about it lol so I’ll try use that generally throughout.

oh and absolutely not testing early again 😂 and defo not with FRER after 2 false positives. Put me right off

im actually not sure if I want a Christmas baby so that’s also why I’m gonna be way more lax about it this coming month

So I think I will use the OPK’s this month but for the opposite reason - to know when not to dtd. 😂 Think I’ve mentioned but we have a month holiday all of April, so the plan was ideally not to be 6-12 weeks pregnant while there, as I read that is when majority of people experience the worst morning sickness. So our plan is to hold off for the Feb window, and then try in the March window as if we were to fall then, I would be 6 weeks on the last few days of the trip which would be dealable. And if not March window, April would be fine to say we then conceived while on our big holiday😀

if my maths is correct, falling in Feb window would be a Nov baby? I am also cautious of a Xmas baby - more for future birthday parties/being so close to Xmas. My sibling is a few days before Xmas and poor thing always got combined presents/no one around for their party! But can’t win them all im afraid! What will be, will be!

Sorry to those who are out this month. I'm still full on tww - it seems to be going on forever! 6dpo at mo...

I've also been wondering about whether to hold off next month in case of Christmas (if not successful this cycle!) - we have soooo many December birthdays in my family, including mine! However I don't really want to waste a month and kind of think what will be will be... Also, March clearly has some good luck for our family, why fight it?! 😆

9dpo now and have tingly boobs for 4 days, cramps since yesterday and just a weird feeling in my lower stomach, looser stools and 2 bouts of nausea. Just wiped this morning and have a light pink stain on the tissue, think it could be implantation bleeding

Congrats to the BFP's and here's hoping for more more BFP's next month. I'm due on today, last test BFN 2 days ago. Awaiting the arrival of AF which I feel she will return with a vengeance for some reason

@babymumma1999 how exciting! I have a bit of a feeling but only 6dpo and it's far too early really. With my first my first real signscame at 9/10dpo and got my BFP at 15dpo so I just need to keep myself busy for a bit!!

Hi ladies 💖

just wondered if anyone has any advice on this one, I have been testing since my BFP on Friday night and have been getting positive tests but they just don’t seem to be very dark which is worrying me. Unless it’s just that I’m still quite early as haven't even missed AF yet. I’m 11dpo today. This test is one I took this morning, would anyone say that looks ok for 11dpo? It’s frustrating as after about 5 minutes the line fades into almost nothing. Would this indicate a problem? Hopefully the one I take on Thursday when AF is late will be a blazing positive for reassurance. I may be worrying for nothing as still have very sore boobs and have started to feel a little sick this morning. No bleeding and only slight twinges which is normal apparently. Any thoughts welcome Xx

My period hasn't fully arrived yet, in fact nothing since yesterdays spotting. So obviously I tested. BFN. At this point I might as well just wee on £20 notes 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Summer022 11dpo is still early. With my first I tested at 15dpo and it was fainter than that! Try not to worry about it just yet (easier said than done I know!) Appearance of more symptoms etc is hopeful. I'd say from missed AF day you should deffo start to see line getting darker but if no bleeding etc then try to relax 😊

@EMcG3 yes I see that,! And does look stronger today! How many dpo are you? All the best!

@madeofcodes that is the exact same as me. I was so sure AF was imminent yesterday with the spotting and today nothing. I also keep peeing on sticks for no reason 😂 want this limbo to be over!

@EMcG3 i can definitely see the progression! Hope it continues
