Hi all

I’ve commented on a few threads but thought I would start a new one for anyone who may have ovulated over the weekend and now starting the TWW? Officially 1DPO today.

This is our first cycle trying to conceive #1. I came off the pill a few weeks ago, had my normal withdrawl bleed. Had flashing smileys last week with the static appearing on Saturday. I will assume I ovulated yesterday as I had a fair few cramps.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I’m 8dpo now. Had back ache since 6dpo and this morning I had the same awful nightmare twice. Can’t remember what AF symptoms usually are as it’s been 18 months since I had one, which is super unhelpful. I haven’t had nightmares for years though.

Quick check in.

13DPO and negative in FRER, evap again on CB and negative on IC.

I'm writing this cycle off as I'm 99% sure I'd know by now.

Roll on summer when we will look to TTC again.

I think I'm also out. 12dpo and AF has arrived. There's a small part of me still wondering (hoping) if it could just be a very heavy implantation bleed so I'll test tomorrow morning, but really not looking likely. Really fucking gutted tbh. This next month is gonna be dtd every other day for the whole month I think, so at least I have that to look forward to and to drag me out of my gloom.

I’m on day 30 of a normal 28 day cycle no sign and negative tests this morn! Dtd 29th?

Hi ladies,

after feeling those cramps that felt like AF yesterday I decided to test just in case, fully expecting it to be negative…. I am in complete and utter shock…I don’t know how to stay calm as I wanted to surprise my partner on Valentine’s Day!!! I don’t even know what to do next!! 😆😆😆

@Mushroo I’m only 9dpo so I’m completely shocked to have got a positive test! It was only the cramps early this morning that made me decide to test on the off chance

@LittleMiss2023 I’m not sure what happened but the frers after that came out stark negative. I still have the same symptoms (headaches, backache, cramps, sore nipples) and no period. Period is due tomorrow. I checked my cervix - usually it is very low and open right before my period, but it’s still very high up and very hard and closed. No spotting. Nothing, I’m very confused

I bought a 6 days early clear blue to try a diff brand and that was negative too. So idk why or how a pink line came up in the frer. Keep feeling like AF is coming but nothing there

Yeah it’s weird how you also got a line but now have AF. Is there something wrong with FRER’s or? So annoying!

aw hope it doesn’t last too long for you, my periods are usually quite heavy!

I’m officially out this month - loads of spotting this morning so AF is definitely about to land.

A little disappointing but only first cycle trying.

This cycle going to DTD more and not obsessively test.

12dpo and BFN on strips still. Think I’ve finally resigned myself to this isn’t the month, saving my last clear blue for 15 dpo if AF doesn’t arrive otherwise it’s coming with me to the next cycle.

Feeling very deflated this month my friend FaceTimed from Australia last night to announce her surprise pregnancy which I screamed the house down about with excitement but this morning I’m feeling a bit teary. Really hope this doesn’t make me a bad person I’m delighted for her but just feeling sorry for myself 🙈

I’ve been irrationally annoyed at Joe Wicks this morning for his three lovely beautiful children 😂 I’m blaming PMT.

Ive spiralled into ‘what if I’m infertile?!’ and I need to remind myself to chill as it’s literally been one try.

Oh and my other completely insane fear today is that testing strips don’t work me.

Im basing this on never having had a positive pregnancy test (having never tried before) and never having had a positive covid test.

I know they are completely different and it’s an insane thought, but this thread is for oversharing right? 🙈

@Mushroo Thank you I just feel a bit low tonight and I’ve a birthday party night out to go too, the thoughts of it is just adding to my overall glum mood.

Oh this is totally my mindset too!

I’ve never gotten a positive line and I have the infertile/never getting a positive line thoughts regularly! However I am literally 3 months ttc which is minimal compared to others so I need to check myself into reality I think.

Still very undecided this month whether to buy another pack of OPK and just use them like this month or maybe get a basal thermometer. Another thought is to wing it and see how it goes! So many decisions.

This month I tracked all month, ovulated around the 29th per OPK strips and baby danced everyday for about 2 weeks so I really thought this was the month. I’m saying this as if AF has came which it hasn’t and I know you’re in the game still until you’re not but it’s all very mentally draining. I am a yap today 😂 just love a wee complain!

Completely get it! It feels like if it didn’t work this month, when will it?!

I do BBT but might get OPKs so at least it might satisfy my need to pee on something 😂

Onwards and upwards I guess! I’ve booked a holiday for my April ovulation dates in case that magically helps!

Ok I think I’m going crazy. Just did the test first response one. While it’s been loading I see first line pop out staring away the pregame by line very clear pink one but by the time I washed my hands I swear it’s vanished completely and only second one control line left? I know I’m testing early and gonna try again tomorrow but I’m not imagining things that’s so strange

@Ks2023 This has happened me before! I thinks it’s take the few minutes for the lines to settle ☹️ Though you could wait to tomorrow and test again and see is if there’s one or two?

@Mushroo oh that’s a perfect idea! I just checked to see when my April and May dates are because I’m away for both of them and Flo and Premom are giving me different dates - even my apps are as confused as me now 🤣 I did notice though flo is recommending a pregnancy test in 6 days so 3 days after AF due. That’s her first time I’ve seen that!

I haven’t charted my BBT at all this cycle but this morning I decided to take my temp (14dpo and af due today). I know what my temp always ranges in my luteal phase and so I saw immediately it is super low like below my usual cover line. I think AF is on her way then. Very sad :(

that must mean the two frer tests I took that showed a faint line were duds

So AF has arrived for me now and generally throwing her weight around but hey ho I'll have a tipple this evening with my fella and pencil in next month's dates!
