Hello!

Just wanting a small tribe to talk to while TTC #2!

Panicking all day yesterday that my positive could have been an indent so tested again today, instead of waiting until the weekend as I planned. Line is still there and definitely darker. (Top line is today)

Ooo looks promising! I'm getting 2 more FRERs delivered today, was going to wait until tomorrow at least but I know I'll end up doing one this evening! Once my test yesterday was dried the line was very obvious and pink so keeping my finger crossed! If I get another line later I'm tempted to buy a digital tomorrow 👀

Hi everyone! It's great to see more BFPs happening! Nice to see this thread growing too. Been crazy busy with the strike going on and trying to make it so that it wouldn't be crippling to take the day to actually go and strike!

My positives are growing stronger, I would've been on day 2 of period now so I think I'm going to stop testing!

Nausea is definitely building, had to snack on some tangfastics on the way in to work this morning as a wave of it came over me on the train. Must remember: hunger = nausea now!

im exactly the same with hunger = nausea!
im actually currently away skiing in Austria. A trip that’s been booked for months. I’m 5 weeks 4 days and the nausea and smell aversions have just hit 😷

Did another FRER, got another line that came up within 3 minutes! It's obvious and definitely pink in real life but it is actually fainter than yesterday's and barely visible in the photo but has only been 30 hours between and not done with FMU today so I think it's to be expected. I know I should wait until the weekend to test again but tempted to use my other FRER tomorrow morning with FMU and see what happens. Going out tomorrow morning anyway so can pick up more tests if I'm still not convinced 👀

Congratulations @Halpmer , I’m with on the hunger=nausea thing. It’s my youngests 1st birthday today, and we’ve not had our tea yet. Just put the kids to bed, and hubby has gone out for a dominos!

I told my husband today (I always like to keep pregnancy to myself for the first day or two so I can be 100% certain before telling him), and although he didn’t really want a third he is really excited!

@WhiteHorse92 that’s a good result with afternoon urine so early! Maybe wait a day and use FMU and you’ll have a blazing positive!

Going to use my other FRER tomorrow morning with FMU and I shall update! I've found with both tests once they've been left to dry a few hours the line looks really pink but still looks colourless on camera 😐

Amazing to see so many BFPs already, congratulations everyone! Count me in on the journey please! TTC #2, stopped the pill just after #1 turned 2 in Nov. Had a chemical last month, crossing fingers for Feb. Good luck to us all :)

Hello. Think I'm tentatively joining here too... A bit scared to take the leap into ttc again but kind of think it makes sense to get going again!

@gettingprepped sorry to hear about your chemical. I had one last month too and think I am having another now , if that is what bleeding at 8-10DPO is!? Fingers crossed we have better luck in February!

@Clouless good question! I’m not sure what changed but I finally felt ready once my son turned 2. I feel like he will absolutely love a sibling if we can give him one. I didn’t have a TTC journey with him so even though I tried to have realistic expectations this time round, it’s knocked me for six a bit having a chemical off the bat and now not sure what is going on. How old is your little one and did you have a difficult TTC journey with #1?

Did another test this morning and another negative. My little one saw me peeing in the cup so expecting that he will now talk about that all day!! Ive only recently thought about having a 2nd @Clouless but finally feeling mentally ready!

@WhiteHorse92 how was the FRER this morning?

I was gonna wait to do another at the weekend, but caved and did it. It's stronger again. Forcing myself to save my last test for Sunday. Then I have the treat of a digital to use next week.

My OPK’s are finally getting darker. About to do another in the hope it’s showing high 🤞 CD28 😬 🙏

@Shiny88 I have no idea. I didn't ovulate when I usually would, so I wrongly assumed I'd ovulated early. We dtd not expecting anything, and seems I must have ovulated late instead. I would guess at being about 12dpo by when we dtd to have caught it.

They look like good lines, congrats! No such luck for me though, did my other FRER this morning with FMU and I have a line again but it's so faint you can barely see it and has no colour and can't see it in the photo at all. I don't have a clue about DPO but I suspect I'm very early and I must have ovulated late in my cycle, regardless I would have expected some progression from the line 2 days ago so unfortunately I'd be surprised if this isn't a chemical. I've ordered some more FRERs, getting delivered at some point between now and Wednesday so I'll just use one whenever it turns up, by then it'll either be a strong line or no line so I'll know for sure.

Thanks. Trying to be a bit more optimistic, my Frer on Sunday was BFN then started getting pink lines so must be very early, I know HCG is so low in the first few days that tests can hover between faint and nothing for quite a few days and between batches so hopefully will see more of a BFP in a few days. No period either which is always a good sign I guess.

@Clouless for us, we had actually had a fairly rigid plan to have #2 when DS was heading to school.. then that crept forward to whenever he was on his 30 free hours... then we were in a pub with DS in pushchair and a couple (must've been mid50s latest) said 'have our table, we'll be leaving soon anyway, we'll finish our drinks at the bar, we know what it's like to have little ones - ours are all grown now'... my husband did the maths in his head and realised if we want 3 or 4 kiddos and wait until each one goes to school before having the next we would've been repeating the newborn/baby/toddler phase for about 15-20 more years and he did not like those stats (nor did I - we love DS and have enjoyed each stage to an extent but it's bloody difficult having a baby and we're sort of looking at it as putting the graft in now to reap the rewards of having older little ones and beyond if that makes sense) so we figured out the earliest we could possible have another baby (without being financially crippled) and figured it was actually around now.

Hello! Thanks for your replies. They both make sense and I don't suppose there is ever a perfect time.

My little boy is 16 months 💙. Last time we fell pregnant about 3 months after having my implant removed, which was quicker than I thought it would be, but felt like ages at the time! I think we have just decided that we don't want to stop anything happening right now, if that makes sense. We're already in the baby/ toddler trenches- so let's carry on! Not sure how long it will take though as I am still BF and working as a teacher full-time. That doesnt leave much time for anything else!

Started cramping and bleeding this morning so I guess that's the end of that. I know line progression in the early days doesn't necessarily mean anything but with the lines getting fainter and going from pink to colourless I had a feeling it was a chemical. Onto cycle #2 I guess!

I have a 5yo DS and have been ttc number 2 for 7 cycles now. I’m in the tww, and only 6dpo so trying my best to wait until at least 10dpo before I start testing.

I’m not sure why, but this month’s tww is much harder than other months. I think it’s because we so desperately want to give my DS a sibling and expand our family, I feel like wherever I go there are pregnant women or babies everywhere!

TTC no.2. DD has just turned 19months. We first started TTC Jan 2019. MMC in nov 2019. Fell pregnant with DD a year later in sept and she was born July 21. Decided that as it took us a while to fall with DD we'd start trying again when she turned 1. Fell pregnant very unexpectedly the first month trying in July last year but that pregnancy also ended in MC around 6 weeks. I was still breastfeeding and my periods had only just returned! I think I was then lulled into a false sense of security that it might happen quickly again... but here we are 7 months later 🤦🏼‍♀️. I'm trying not to get too disheartened just yet as I know it's well within normal but it's soo frustrating. I'd like another baby before I'm 34 (in a years time) to hopefully leave time for a 3rd if we decide that's what we want.

My period started yesterday so keeping everything crossed for this cycle 🤞 good luck everyone!
