Hi @Mummyo1 how old is your little one? Hope the smiley faces appear soon. I haven’t ever used the ovulation tests but know loads
of people swear by them.

Welcome @Tabbycat92 what symptoms have you been feeling? When do you think you will test?

Tabbycat92 · 30/01/2023 09:33

@NWnature I’ve had cramping for the last 3 days, and lower back ache (something that I’ve had both times in last pregnancies). Slightly sore boobs (am still breastfeeding my youngest), and an incredible sense of smell. Hot flashes at night (can’t sleep with anything on me) and insomnia.

NWnature · 30/01/2023 09:46

Ah that sounds encouraging and also so great that you can remember and recognise from the previous pregnancies. I have a memory like a sieve and can’t remember the early days of last time, definitely didn’t have any strong symptoms. I have been feeling weird stomach feelings but I think I am just going wishful thinking. I also had vivid dreams at the weekend - which I do actually remember from last pregnancy- however I ate an entire burrata so it could’ve just been that!

Mummyo1 · 30/01/2023 10:12

@NWnature he's 9! So will (hopefully) be around a 10 year age gap! I was pregnant at 17. Now 27, I'm TTC and doing all the planning that goes with it

NWnature · 30/01/2023 10:27

@Mummyo1 Oh wow - that’s amazing. Does it feel like ages ago or like you blinked and he was almost 10!? Will keep everything crossed for you :)

BeaKind · 30/01/2023 10:34

@NWnature I’m like you and would be testing that early too 😂 I feel like I just have to pee on something 🤪

Looper2 · 30/01/2023 10:35

Hello! I am also starting to try for number 2. My little one is 2.5 and waiting to test later this week. Think I ovulated on Wednesday and stupidly tested yesterday (waste of a tenner!!) but the two early tests are calling my name lol!

TunnocksTCake · 30/01/2023 10:43

Hi! I am on Cycle 4 of TTC #2, Have a wonderful DD who was 2 in September.
Cycle day 2 here so a little wait until CD 10 & sex week!! I think I am going to use CB digis as they worked well last time (Have been putting off because they are so expensive!) and the SMEP plan :)
Good luck ladies!

Mummyo1 · 30/01/2023 11:01

@NWnature yeah it's just gone! To think my baby will be 18 and ill still only be the young age of 35 is mad 🥺 sending baby dust to all who need it. Hoping this month is our lucky month x

Looper2 · 31/01/2023 08:00

Is anyone else testing this morning? My period isn’t due til 9th Feb but tested this morning just in case… my lower back is sore and crampy and I’ve been so grumpy. Test was negative 🙁 so hard to not be disappointed even though it’s probably too early to get a positive

NWnature · 31/01/2023 08:13

Hey @Looper2 I’m in the same boat. I am due 6 Feb so apparently 8DPO and just tested negative. Gutted but trying to remain positive. Did you use a FRER? I am
only using the cheap Amazon strip ones so clinging onto some hope they just aren’t sensitive enough.

Looper2 · 31/01/2023 09:52

@NWnature maybe we are just too impatient! I’m not 100% sure when I ovulated, although think I’m probs at 8DPO too. I used the ClearBlue digital ones, which really is throwing money down the drain, but I wanted to know either way. Will test again on Saturday probably. Good luck NW ❤️

Tabbycat92 · 31/01/2023 20:31

AF was due today, and that’s basing it on a 31 day cycle when last month was only 28. Boobs are itchy too this evening. I might test tomorrow morning….. eek

NWnature · 31/01/2023 21:19

Good luck for tomorrow @Tabbycat92 !

I’ve had some light spotting this eve (brown blood - tmi sorry!) so praying it’s implantation though I didn’t have this with my son or with my chemical last month. I will be 9DPO tomorrow!

Tabbycat92 · 01/02/2023 06:58

I’m after line-eyes ladies! There’s something there, right?

@Tabbycat92 yes I see it! Congrats!!

WhiteHorse92 · 01/02/2023 09:43

Did my other Frer this morning, assumed it would be like my positive Covid test from the weekend and if it was going to be positive it would show straight away, straight away thought nah that's a BFN, came back after looking at my phone for a few mins (maybe around 3 mins after taking the test but less than 5) and I have this! I absolutely get it now when people say they have an obvious line or the line has colour but the camera doesn't pick it up. It's obvious and very much staring me in the face and definitely has colour, but it is faint and thin and I've read enough posts on here to know not to trust this. I don't use OPKs or do any tracking, all I know is I came off the pill, had a bleed, then had a 25 day cycle then a period on 4th Jan which now puts me on CD29, don't know for sure obviously when I ovulated or implanted and no sign of period yet but feel as though I should have a darker line by now? Will do another test on Friday so I guess I'll know for sure in a couple of days.

NWnature · 01/02/2023 10:01

I can definitely see the line @WhiteHorse92 fingers crossed!

What I was hoping yesterday was implantation bleeding turned into more overnight so I am really unsure now but guess this is start of a new cycle post chemical? I’ve logged it in my app as a period anyway. I’m 9DPO/CD24 but I think it’s too bright red to be implantation , I didn’t get anything when I conceived my first. I guess I can do a test over the next couple of days but it seems very unlikely to be good news. This makes the post chemical cycle only 23 days which is weird but maybe my body is just resetting? Anyone got any thoughts?

Looper2 · 01/02/2023 10:49

Congratulations @Tabbycat92 and @WhiteHorse92 ❤️❤️❤️Would you recommend those tests over the clear blue digital ones?

sorry to hear that @NWnature - how are you feeling? X

Mummyo1 · 01/02/2023 11:00

@Looper2 clear blue digital need much higher hcg levels in order to be positive. FRER are the most sensitive on the market, however they have terrible indents and can often look positive when they arent

Tabbycat92 · 01/02/2023 11:11

@WhiteHorse92 yours looks the same as mine, and I was the same that it was stark white to start with, the line appeared after a minute of staring at it. Fingers crossed for us both 🤞

Tabbycat92 · 01/02/2023 11:12

@Looper2 FRER test are far more sensitive than clear blue. Generally pink dye tests are more sensitive than blue. The most sensitive tests I’ve used are the easy@home strips you get on Amazon.

Shiny88 · 01/02/2023 11:17

Hi guys can I join in please,
Congratulations those who have got their BFP 🎉

I'm trying for number 2. Have been trying since September 2021 and had one miscarriage in December 2021. Had nothing since.
Having bloods this month to see if I'm ovulating properly.

Xx

Smiffette · 01/02/2023 12:14

New to this thread, I've been TTC since October 2022, no2.

1st pregnancy resulted in MMC in April 2019
2nd pregnancy gave us our DD June 2020

Now 3 DPO and impatiently waiting until I can test

Good luck ladies!

Looper2 · 01/02/2023 15:32

Good luck to everyone waiting - so impatient I am so distracted. But picked up those FRER tests so will do on on Friday (should be 12DPO by then), can’t believe the difference in sensitivity when I googled! Feel like an idiot falling for Clear Blue’s marketing haha
