@TheBirdintheCave I'm only a couple of weeks ahead of you in this journey but after you've recovered we've chosen two different routes, I hope we both find success in those and by the end of the year we either have an answer, or a baby!! In the meantime, virtual handholds everywhere xx

bringmearainbow · 08/01/2023 20:22

@bunnykins123 did you stop taking any supplements when you got your positive? I'm only taking prenatal, ubiquinol and DHA extra now and just wondered if you had asked doc about what to stop or carry on with

OP posts:
bunnykins123 · 08/01/2023 20:54

@bringmearainbow so I ran out of ubiqunol about 2 weeks before my bfp. I started taking Impryl alongside DH which supposedly improves egg quality and sperm. I also take high strength omega 3 and high strength vitty d. In fact DH takes the exact same. So I've technically not changed anything as Impryl has the pure form of folic acid in it (can't remember the name!) alongside other nutrients. I believe that once you've got a bfp you are supposed to stop with ubiqunol. DHA is the same as omega 3 right?

bunnykins123 · 08/01/2023 20:55

@bringmearainbow which prenatal are you taking?

bringmearainbow · 08/01/2023 20:57

@bunnykins123 yes dha is same as omega 3. that's what I thought on ubiquinol but lots of mixed reviews some people take in the first tri but others say to stop. One lady on the it starts with an egg group said she took dha until 3 weeks before birth as it thins blood 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't remember reading that one one but admit I haven't read it for a while

I think tonight’s is the darkest so far! It’s really dark in real life, it looks lighter in the photo

MrsJGrealish · 08/01/2023 21:18

@LuckyMoonstone god you're right that looks the darkest yet xx I'm off to sleep the progesterone is kicking my ass so tired 💤

monsteramunch · 08/01/2023 21:40

Ah @LuckyMoonstone this is a brilliant line! Flowers

bringmearainbow · 08/01/2023 21:43

@LuckyMoonstone yessss that's a super line 💪🏼

Thank you :) I’m still not 100% sure all will be ok. Bleeding has stopped for now. And I have much much stronger symptoms than with the last CP. I feel the same way I did at this point in my last ‘proper’ pregnancy. But I just have to drag myself through the week until Thursday!

monsteramunch · 08/01/2023 21:56

I've got absolutely everything crossed for you @LuckyMoonstone Flowers

TheBirdintheCave · 08/01/2023 22:17

@LuckyMoonstone Looking good! Also I'm glad you have more symptoms than the cp!

@monsteramunch Looking forward to seeing yours next ;)

I can't believe how many positives we've had in the past few weeks!

pangolin84 · 08/01/2023 22:18

This is all sounding very promising @monsteramunch! Fingers crossed that AF stays away x

I’ve noticed my periods have been a lot lighter since my MMC (in June) no sign of them going back to how they were. Used to get 3 days of medium flow and two days light. Now it’s more like 1 day medium flow and two days light flow/manky brown spotting 😬 Has anyone else noticed anything similar? Just wondering if it could be a problem to add to my list of things to worry about.

monsteramunch · 08/01/2023 22:24

Thanks so much @TheBirdintheCave and @pangolin84 Flowers

No period pains at all today which is very unusual for me at this stage. Had a few hours of pangs the other day but nothing since.

Just got a bit choked up thinking this may be it but then being scared it's not as this is the most hopeful (and different) I've felt in a year...

My nipples are sore which I've never ever had before. Feel bad for people who get that every period - it's horrible!

Got my fingers crossed for everyone testing tomorrow, this is such a lovely group.

TheBirdintheCave · 08/01/2023 22:30

@pangolin84 I feel like someone else said that here but I can't remember who 🤔

@FfayeN Thanks :) I hope you get answers quickly and then a sticky bean straight afterwards.

I just feel so behind 😭

I've been told to test in two weeks but I've decided I'm not going to as I don't want to see a positive when I'm not pregnant. I'd prefer to just monitor cm and temps then if I ovulate know that the old HCG must be low enough for that to happen. Does that make sense?

bunnykins123 · 08/01/2023 22:39

@TheBirdintheCave perfect sense. I drive myself mad testing and I wish I'd just left it. I think if you do go down that route, you'll need to be mindful of false lines on tests if you decide to test before AF is due.

@pangolin84 my periods defo changed after my miscarriages. Mine are actually longer but I get brown stringy gunk for a few days at the end. I've had so many tests and all seems to be normal so no idea why!

@LuckyMoonstone that's a great line! Also glad that the bleeding has stopped 👏

TheBirdintheCave · 08/01/2023 23:14

@bunnykins123 That's the other reason for not testing, I'd have to buy a whole new box of tests 😂 I'd rather just not have any in the house then I won't be tempted to use them.

I don't ever want to take a test again really.

LuckyMoonstone · 09/01/2023 08:48

This mornings test added to the line up. I dont think it’s darker than last nights, but I don’t know if it’s lighter either, maybe the same? And really they were only about 12 hours apart so I guess there wouldn’t necessarily be much change?
Think it’s time to throw Friday and Saturday tests in the bin now 😆

POAS: bodies are weird and stupid 🤦🏼‍♀️
TheBirdintheCave · 09/01/2023 09:05

@LuckyMoonstone What dpo are you now? I reckon you could stick to one a day from now on :) Maybe throw out all of the duplicates and just keep day to day progression?

monsteramunch · 09/01/2023 09:09

@LuckyMoonstone I think that's looking good!

I had another night with four hours sleep argh.

Symptoms galore and had to get up to put a bra on in the wee small hours as boobs so sore, has helped a little bit.

Going to test later today I think, eek!

bringmearainbow · 09/01/2023 09:17

@monsteramunch eeek 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I resisted the urge to use a frer. Been having a few niggly cramps nothing painful just barely noticeable and had a little bit of pink cm like the tiniest sploge this morn so ive put a liner in so I can see if there's anymore. Temp is still up so that's a good sign at least. Oh and I have an absolute killer headache. If tomorrows test isn't a bit more of a positive line I think I'm going to have to come to the conclusion that it's still leftover hcg and wait for AF. God I'm grumpy today 😂

OP posts:
TheBirdintheCave · 09/01/2023 09:18

@monsteramunch Yesssss do it :D

@bringmearainbow I'm sure it will be a darker line tomorrow :D

TheBirdintheCave · 09/01/2023 09:26

This morning I tidied all of still usable pregnancy things back into the sadness box (where I kept the things from April, leftover vitamins etc) and chucked out all of the positive tests. I also wiped clean the notice board in the office and put all of the January appointments on it. There's no visible evidence that I was ever pregnant in the house anymore, which is nice in a way.

LuckyMoonstone · 09/01/2023 09:38

@TheBirdintheCave 21dpo now! Ovulation was 3 weeks ago tomorrow. I was hoping they’d be a bit darker by now. Yeah I think I will just do them in the mornings now, then maybe I’ll see a bigger difference. Oh im sorry lovely, I hope that was more cathartic for you than it was upsetting x
@monsteramunch sore boobs sound promising! Mine are killing me 😆
