I'm tempted to pick up a 25miu/ml test this weekend and take it to see if the HCG is at least under 25. If I get a negative on that, I'll know that any positive on the same test following that would be a real one.

@pangolin84 the covid jab made my period 3 weeks late (so really, it made ovulation late). That’s why I haven’t had the booster whilst TTC.

@bringmearainbow I was on the fence about it and asked my husband if he thought we should try as soon as we could and he said yes so I think we're going to just go for it :) I wasn't really expecting anything like this until next week so I'm really surprised.

I'll still ask what they can see at the scan but it looks like I'll be further along in the cycle than I thought I'd be.

Well I almost made it a day without bleeding absolutely nada then started cramping about an hour ago and more blood 🙄 I'm in such a huffy mood tonight 🙈

@bringmearainbow I'm f**king miserable. I really don't think men have a clue how emotionally draining this is. This black heart is my soul today 🖤 my bleeding is tailing off (for now at least) this isn't like me at all, it's just hit me harder 🤷‍♀️

Oh @MrsJGrealish I'm so sorry you're feeling that way. I do too and recognise the horrible feeling of not being able to shake it off and feel normal again. The TTC journey has been all consuming for me and the suspected chemical hit me really hard too. Flipping between numb and sobbing. Thinking of you

@MrsJGrealish ❤️❤️ it really is so draining. DS took nearly 2 hours to go to bed and I'm sitting here doing work now 🙄 Dh has just gone to bed I think the 2 hour bedtime and the cramps have been the last straw for me today. I'm so fed up so know how your feeling xxx

@monsteramunch I feel like I might burn all my stupid ICs (which btw are still throwing off faint lines, FRER was a firm negative today) This might help momentarily with my sadness/rage. But no doubt I'll be ordering them again next week. I have no restraint 🙄🙈 just ugh 😑

I honestly felt the TWW was so much easier (still torture, natch, but less!) when I had no tests at our home.

I've made myself a promise this month that I can use OPKs but not any pregnancy tests until 11DPO and even then I'd prefer to do what I did last month and wait until 15DPO. I just feel like I should do a couple of days earlier in case of another chemical, so I can let my GP know that's happened again.

Though then I worry that they might say well you're conceiving just not successfully, so let's leave it a bit longer... and at 36, TTC #1, I don't want anything to hold up the next steps so am in two minds about that.

@monsteramunch I think in a way it was good I saw the positive coz sometimes I doubted that we were hitting the right days. But then it hurts more when u get excited for nothing. Double edged sword all right it's hard to know what to do. And what you can cope with mentally. I will say before I never bothered DTD after a positive LH strip but because DH was sick we did and that must have been the winning moment. Cp are very early miscarriages and doctors do consider them as such. It's so hard.xx

Absolutely fucking disgusted. There's a thread where a woman thinks it's totally fine to do cocaine while pregnant because it's part of her social circle and because other people drink occasional alcohol and risks are the same. She got a herd of sheep behind her saying it shouldn't be judged and some of us eat Macdonald's while pregnant (totally legitimate comparison, a cheeseburger equals cocaine, totally).
Why do these people get to have kids? What the actual fuck? What is happening with society of people are making it out as not a big deal??
She's mad at midwife for asking her to do a drug test but not mad at herself for harming her baby 🤷 Disgusted.

@usedtolovenaps goodness me. I have no words. Thank god the midwife is considering the well being of the child! I suspect substance / alcohol abuse in pregnancy is more common than we are made to believe but nobody would be silly enough to come on a forum and brag about it.

@bunnykins123 @TheBirdintheCave I'd want to believe it's a troll but not sure.... She said she was very well educated and knew, based on reading papers, that it wouldn't have terrible effects on the baby. She did say in the end that some people's harsh responses made her rethink everything so she'll have a think - this also shows why it's important to be true instead of saying 'oh no worries, it's fine' to people who are clearly doing something wrong.
