TTC#1 never been pregnancy before, this is officially cycle #8 over 15 months as I had some very long cycles early on, just the last 3 months they’ve seemed to have settled down to 30-34 days.
this morning I had an HSG to check my tubes are patent, which they are.

I already have a nearly 8yr old but would Love a second before I’m 32 !

this is my first cycle trying ovulation tests never did all this the first time so excited/nervous for the wait & the hoping 🥰

Please can I join🥺?
I'm 27, trying for baby number 2!
It's our first month trying, I got a static smiley face on my ovulation test yesterday, we DTD the day before the smiley, the day of and then again today.
I didn't have to use the ovulation sticks last time because my daughter was a surprise so it's all new to me.

Can I ask your advice?

I tracked one cycle only before TTC and came out with a 35 day cycle.

Due to a combination of illness and Christmas, I only started monitoring by using clearblue OPK on day 17 of my 35 day cycle. Day 17 I had low fertility and every day since then - 18, 19, 20 I've had the flashing smiley face and we've DTD on each of these three days.

However I have never had the peak, static smiley.

Do you think I may have missed my ovulation, or not be ovulating? I am a bit confused. Did I start too late testing and DTD in my 35 day cycle?

Thanks for any advice!

@Hardly123 keep testing, my app said I should've ovulated on sunday, but I didn't get the static smiley until yesterday. Apparently it varies for each person :-)x

Definitely keep testing I’ve been using an app untill now and have realised I ovulate more than a week later than I’ve always thought ! All those wasted cycles tuning it by that week 🙈

ive also started taking 7 seas ttc vitamins and my cycle has gone from 27 days to 31 not sure if this will help or not ? Anyone else tried any vitamins or supplements?

i have PCOS and have been taking myova supplements since November, coincidence or not my cycles have settled since then.
i also take vitamin b complex and high dose of vitamin c

@Ncl31 oh I’m glad they’ve helped with your cycle , I was worried as sometimes mine would be 26 days and I wasn’t sure that was long enough for implantation to happen properly .

I’m 30 and TTC#1. AF arrived today so now CD1 of cycle #5.
Had a chemical pregnancy my 2nd cycle in Oct/Nov so really hoping for a BFP more than ever

Yes I am but part of me wishes I wasn't and could relax enough to let nature take its course 😂 however I haven't been relaxed in that sense since we were TTC our first baby xx

@northernmam i hear that a lot just relax like it will magically help 😂

I have a friend at work that was trying too and got pregnant pretty quickly she was very relaxed and made jokes that it was a competition that she’d won , finding it quite annoying now that she mentions it every time we see each other and Infront of people 🙈
but I’m just not a relaxed person anyway but this makes it worse 😂

Ah that's totally uncalled for! It's not a race or competition in any sense and I sometimes don't think people realise how hurtful comments like that can be.

I'm not a laid back person either so will be chucking myself into work and things between now and when I can test xx

Yes @northernmam I didn’t realise how much it would upset me and she finds it really funny , I don’t think it’s intentional but I feel like I’m making it a thing if I say something . Definitely the best thing to do keep busy and try to forget 😂 as if that will happen !

Yeah she probably doesn't but doesn't make it any easier to hear sometimes 😢 ah I know. I've made myself a promise to not test until at least 2 days before my period is due if I use an early detection test, but it's a slippery slope into testing daily which I really don't want to do xx

Hopefully she’ll stop now ..
I promise myself every month I won’t test untill the day I’m due but never wait , definitely will this month tho it’s costing me too much money and too many hours staring at a non existent line 😂

7dpo today, tracked with opks.
I don't have any pregnancy tests in but I peed on some ovulation tests to satisfy that urge 🙈😂
Anyway I'm a bit confused, I dipped 2 ovulation tests in the same pee. One was a blazing positive straight away, the other is barely there.... Kind of got my hopes up a bit as I have seen people get positive opks when they are pregnant.
But why the 2 different results.

Currently ttc baby no.2 cycle 1. Think I'm due to ovulate in about 5 days but tracking with opks and bbt. When we conceived baby no.1 they both matched so hoping it will be the same this time.

Hoping anyone that is in their tww is doing ok and hoping you get your bfp soon.

Anyone in my boat who hasn't reached ovulation yet, we got this 🙂 fingers crossed!
