@Roxxybabe that's a really good attitude to have and I'm doing the same. I have just had my first period since chemical. It came quite early at 11dpo where it wasn't meant for another 5 or so days. But I hadn't done any tests so it didn't feel like a big upset like the month before. We missed a few keys days dtd so we will be all over it this month haha! Keeping everything crossed for you!!!

Roxxybabe · 19/01/2023 21:49

@Knov20 thanks hun! I’m trying not to make having a baby the be all and end all of life, I put far too much pressure on myself last year and so I’m trying to be laid back. So far so good, I think the chemical actually made me little more positive in the sense we actually concieved as I was beginning to worry! Fingers crossed for you too 🤞

ttcat37 · 19/01/2023 20:53

@Lal33 sorry I missed your post! It didn’t work out for me this month unfortunately. Lots of faint positives then just negatives. How are you doing?

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'd been thinking about you and the FRERs (I hope that doesn't sound weird) but I saw one in my drawer and wondered how you were getting on.

I hope you're feeling okay - it's shit but a sign that everything works. There's a lot of chatter about how people find they're more fertile the next month also, I hope that applies to you 💜

Hello everyone! Hoping to have some advice… from what I can tell, I seem to implant quite late in the cycle - does anyone else have this? I’ve read it can be more common to become a CH or MC … although the times they share as normal for implantation (6-12days) make it seem like my 11/12 day implantation is indeed normal…

this happened 100% for me in November, and from the spotting I’m having yest and today, I can tell the timeframe is similar. I’m assuming it needs enough time to embed onto the uterine lining and if it’s not stuck there early enough.. it’ll experience problems when AF is fighting against it as the HCG levels take a few days to build up … ugh any experience? Advice? Or just general thoughts about that? X

LotzW · 20/01/2023 08:36

I tested today. I'm cycle 1 and clearly already insane and can't resist POAS. AF is 6 days away and I ovulated 9 days ago according to app, but I've also just realised my app suggests cycles between 21 and 30 days 🤷🏼‍♀️
I knew I shouldn't test and vowed not to because of chemicals but I still POAS. WHY did I do this?! 🤣

Natty83 · 20/01/2023 08:56

@Yolo23 I know that if the luteal phase is quite short you can get prescribed hcg to help the progesterone production - it's 10/11 days or under I think they say counts as on the shorter side but I don't know specifically about longer to implant - it sounds like you are in the bounds of what's considered normal though if it's 6-12 days? Do you know how long your luteal phase is generally? I guess it's the difference between the two that is the most important factor.
I definitely know though that they say a shorter luteal phase can make it harder but not impossible, it's still perfectly possible to have a healthy catch and pregnancy x

Natty83 · 20/01/2023 08:57

@LotzW was it bfn? Hugs, I'm also addicted to poas x

LotzW · 20/01/2023 08:59

@Natty83 Yup, BFN! I didn't feel too disheartened because I expected a negative but I'm sure my hubs will want to kill me when I'm obsessing during the next few days!

Yolo23 · 20/01/2023 09:26

@Natty83 thank you for your reply and info! I’ve just tried to work it out - my literal phase appears to be around 13/14 days (this is the timeframe between ovulation - confirmed by digital tests and AF) although it could be a day or so less depending on when ovulation takes place (as we know it could be 24-48hrs after a positive ovulation test) - google seems to think that’s normal but I implant at 11/12 days and then AF is due on day 14 so it doesn’t give heaps of time to really embed - what are your thoughts 🤔🤔 x

Misspotterscat · 20/01/2023 10:04

Tested this morning. 11dpo BFN. Starting to feel so disheartened with the whole ttc thing wondering if I’ll ever get a BFP

Lc23 · 20/01/2023 10:19

Hi guys, I'm wondering if anyone can offer some advice.

I was certain we'd missed this month because DH ended up in the hospital before I got my static smiley - we were going for it in the lead up though.

I did a few tests last week at 13/14 days DPO and they were all negative. I had some very light bleeding on Tuesday that had some clots (sorry if TMI), but then the bleeding stopped and I've had nothing since. I've just taken a test because I was feeling v confused and I've got a BFP - I'm totally confused, do I rely on it? Could the bleeding on Tuesday have been me losing it, but it's still showing as positive?

Yolo23 · 20/01/2023 11:20

@Lc23 hi! It’s so hard to say 😮‍💨 When I had a BFP, a few days later it was a BFN but some tests were still showing as BFP even though I was clearly on AF at this point and having clots. I’d probably suggest to use a digital in a couple of days and hopefully you’ll know either way by then. I’d definitely do another just in case but wishing you the best of luck xx

Lc23 · 20/01/2023 11:24

@Yolo23 I'm so sorry to hear that! I did do a digital today and it's says 1-2 weeks, will keep testing and hoping for the best xx

Yolo23 · 20/01/2023 11:34

@Lc23 fingers crossed! I was doing all sorts but I think you can be more hopeful given the bleeding has stopped 🤞 ☺️ x

justwantobeamum · 20/01/2023 14:20

Sorry to hear @Lc23 hope it is positive for you plenty of people do bleed in pregnancy. I don’t agree with pp, personally I would keep testing with either frer or sensitive strips (stick with same brand) and see if lines get darker or lighter each day. Alternatively you could see if gp would give you hcg blood test 48h apart but id probably do the testing route first.

ItWasTimeToGo · 20/01/2023 15:22

AF arrived for me today 😥 What's worse is that it was four days late, so I'd started to get my hopes up....

I feel so blue

Roxxybabe · 20/01/2023 15:59

@Yolo23 I don’t think you can any control on what day implantation happens unless you have IVF maybe. I wouldn’t worry or overthink it, your body will do what it’ll do. i doubt anyone can tell the specific moment they implant! Try not to worry xx

kalixxx · 20/01/2023 16:47

Hey everyone, sorry to jump in!

I might be imagining the line on the top test but if anyone can actually see it, do you think this is likely an indent? I thought the other two had indents on but camera won’t even pick up the line on those! These are from yesterday morning, this morning and this afternoon (top test).

I think seeing as I’m having to ask, it’s most likely an indent 😅

Yolo23 · 20/01/2023 16:58

@Roxxybabe thank you! You are right. I’ll just go with the flow and if it’s positive, it’s positive and if it isn’t, it isn’t! 🥰

LotzW · 20/01/2023 17:20

@kalixxx I see something on the top test. Doesn't look like any colour but I'm not clued up on indents etc so maybe someone could offer better opinion.

I read somewhere here that levels double ever two days so test again in a day or two

🤞🏼 for you x

kalixxx · 20/01/2023 17:24

@LotzW I’ve convinced myself in person there is a pink tinge, most likely wishful thinking! 😅

Thank you! I’d wait 48 hours but I think I’ll most likely test tomorrow morning 😩

LotzW · 20/01/2023 17:25

@kalixxx Pink is good. Cameras don't capture the same. 👍🏼 I know your pain.
I'm days off having a realistic positive if I get one but still tested this morning 🤦🏼‍♀️

kalixxx · 20/01/2023 19:41

@LotzW it’s just too tempting isn’t it! Fingers crossed for both of us!

ttcat37 · 20/01/2023 20:16

Aww thanks @Lal33 , it’s nice to know you’re being thought about!
I was upset yesterday, had a bit of cry, but started spotting so felt a little better as I was worried if the bleed was going to take a while to start I’d miss next cycle as DH is away shortly after fertile week. Full on bleed today, it’s funny how you can leave it behind when the next cycle starts.
I've booked in with the doc next week as I’ve had 2 chems back to back. So we can conceive but not stay pregnant. Think my progesterone is ok as I’ve done Proov tests and my bbt remained really high until this morning. Hopefully something simple on a blood test!
Hope you’re doing ok, where are you in your cycle?

PeopleAreToads · 21/01/2023 10:22

@ttcat37 I felt the same, a bit tearful but now I'm coming to end of the bleeding I'm jusy focused on the new cycle

Hopefully the doctors give you some answers! Baby dust for the next cycle
