@bunnykins123 I’m ok thanks for asking 😊
Bleeding has started now, so AF has ended up being 3 days late. I probably wouldn’t have even realised it was a CP if I wasn’t so anxious and doing all the testing. Hopefully it won’t have much of an effect on future cycles and we’ll just continue trying again while I slowly lose my mind.
Feeling a bit sad about it all and how my eggs must be rubbish even though I’ve been taking ubiquinol and all the vitamins and omegas etc etc etc for 5 months now. I’ve done basic hormone tests at day 3 and everything was fine (TFTs, prolactin, LH, FSH, oestradiol) except for slightly low testosterone but not too concerned about that.

MrsCristianoX · 05/12/2022 23:13

@pangolin84 I'm really sorry. It really hurts. 💔

We didn't DTD tonight. First miscarriage due date and tbh I couldn't think of anything but that. I don't know I didn't really want to think of another tonight. (I know I'm weird)

FfayeN · 06/12/2022 05:30

@mummatara oh I'm really hoping she's here, hopefully you weren't doubled over all night though 😔. Excellent news on the shopping too, but if a sting when the bill comes in though hey!
@pangolin84 I'm the same, it's got to be my eggs and possibly DH too, have you had him checked aswell? It's so shit isn't it. Sending hugs xx
@MrsCristianoX bless you lovely, I would have been exactly the same, take it easy on yourself 😘 xxx

@MrsCristianoX totally hear you. It wears you out after a while especially when you have other things to focus on. It's such a hard journey.

@FfayeN how are you doing lovely? When's your appointment with Dr Brosens?

@pangolin84 oh hun, I'm so sorry. There are a few of us on here who have had consecutive miscarriages which makes it even harder. Take the time to grieve and have some space from ttc if you need 💕

FfayeN · 06/12/2022 08:11

@bunnykins123 I'm alright, back to work which is nice, luckily only for 4 days and then it's time for New York! The consultation is 16th, then if we decide to proceed the biopsy is a week after ovulation, I think timing wise we may miss this month if I ovulate before my first AF, but we'll see where we are in a weeks time xx

Brown spotting now :( It's not looking good. Exactly the same day as the MMC.

bunnykins123 · 06/12/2022 14:10

@FfayeN ooo have the best time! Is that for over Xmas time?

@TheBirdintheCave do you still have any symptoms? Please don't panic yet, we've had spotting on this forum many times before and it's not amounted to much of anything 💕 can you call the epu to get a scan?

TheBirdintheCave · 06/12/2022 14:13

@bunnykins123 My husband has called them and they said they'd call him back. I hope they can get us in tomorrow :(

I've still got sore boobs (though not as bad as last week) and vague nausea but I've been a bit on edge about the lack of nausea as I'm 6+1 and with my son it was already very bad by this point.

bunnykins123 · 06/12/2022 14:20

@TheBirdintheCave I think nausea at this stage is still quite early, so the fact you have it is a good sign. So is having sore breasts. Try to look at the positives. Is it a lot of spotting or just a smear? I know it's so hard, but try not to worry 💕

TheBirdintheCave · 06/12/2022 14:32

@bunnykins123 Just a small bit of brown CM when I wiped. I checked inside and there was nothing but white so... I don't know. I just feel like everything is fading away again just like with the MMC.

I have leftover progesterone from the MMC and don't know whether I should start taking it or not :/

bunnykins123 · 06/12/2022 14:45

@TheBirdintheCave I don't know, I wouldn't want to advise to take something without medical advice. A small but if brown could just be irritation or something. Unless it's really dark and getting heavy, I really wouldn't worry. It could be left over implantation bleeding. Please don't worry, all will be fine 💕

TheBirdintheCave · 06/12/2022 15:00

@bunnykins123 Based on my last pregnancy I just can't believe that :( The only difference between this pregnancy and that one now is that I had some cramping with the MMC and not this time. And this time I had stronger tests from the start.

Otherwise it's identical, same day, same waning symptoms.

bunnykins123 · 06/12/2022 15:50

@TheBirdintheCave I know, I understand it's scary but try to not loose faith. So many women spot during pregnancy with no issues. Unless it's red and getting heavier / more noticeable then I wouldn't completely panic (I know that's easier said than done). Did DH manage to get through to the EPU? Big hand hold from me 🤞

TheBirdintheCave · 06/12/2022 15:56

@bunnykins123 He did and they told him to email them his number and the reason for calling and that they'd call him back. They're only open until 6pm so if he doesn't hear from them by then I'm booking an (eye wateringly expensive) private scan.

Sorry to be so pessimistic. I just had zero bad feelings about this pregnancy (bar some worries about symptoms) and was not expecting to see blood when I wiped at all :( I really thought it was all going to work out.

My brother told me that they went to the EPU around this time with their baby (they're now 15 weeks) as my SIL had the same thing I've had. But their baby is fine and she ended up spotting for another eight weeks.

bunnykins123 · 06/12/2022 16:18

@TheBirdintheCave do not apologise! We all would have the same reaction given the circumstances and it's easy to assume the worst. From my experience, I know far more ladies who spotted at 6 weeks and went on to have successful pregnancies than those that ended in miscarriage. I can imagine it was quite a shock to see the spotting. I really hope they get back to you asap and you can see them today. Are you able to book a private scan for tomorrow if not? Has the spotting stopped for now?

TheBirdintheCave · 06/12/2022 16:22

@bunnykins123 I haven't had any more since that one instance at 1.30 so it does seem to have stopped for now. I wouldn't even have noticed it had I just gone to the loo like a normal person (ie not wiping before I wee) 😂I would have just carried on thinking/hoping that everything was ok.

bunnykins123 · 06/12/2022 16:53

@TheBirdintheCave see that's a good sign 🤞 hopefully it was just a bit of irritation or implantation bleeding (that really is a 'thing'!) Take a deep breath and have some time out tonight 💕

TheBirdintheCave · 06/12/2022 17:03

@bunnykins123 Thank you for being so nice <3 I feel a bit better now there's a plan in place and fingers crossed I see a small baby tomorrow and not nothing like last time 😥

LuckyMoonstone · 06/12/2022 17:36

@TheBirdintheCave hope you’re ok, have a hand good from me too xx I know that awful feeling when you see spotting that shouldn’t be there and it’s like being punched, it’s so hard to shake off but it doesn’t always mean the worst xx

TheBirdintheCave · 06/12/2022 17:41

@LuckyMoonstone Yeah it took me right back to the start of the miscarriage in April. Horrible feeling :(

mummatara · 06/12/2022 17:43

@FfayeN AF is a bloody no show 🙄 cramps didn't last too long but I did take painkillers. Weirdly I've had a temp rise the last 4/5 days and my app thinks I've ovulated 😂 so I might be in the TWW or my body is just being strange 🤷🏼‍♀️ not that being in the TWW is any good as there's been no activity in that dept 😂

@TheBirdintheCave big hugs ❤️ I hope that it's nothing and just a bit of irritation like @bunnykins123 says

LuckyMoonstone · 06/12/2022 17:45

@TheBirdintheCave The worst 😔 but I’m really really hoping it doesn’t lead to anything 🤞

FfayeN · 06/12/2022 17:59

@TheBirdintheCave oh hun I am sending you massive hugs. Spotting is normal as everyone said but so many of us know the fear when you have it. I'm glad @bunnykins123 was here to help talk you through the worry, please keep us posted. As a minimum they should be prescribing you progesterone when they contact you back but I am sure it's just everything adjusting and settling in, especially as it's brown 🙏🏼💕 xxx

mummatara · 06/12/2022 18:01

Actually I lied if I did in fact O when the app says I did then we DTD -1 it just feels like forever ago we did it and today I would be 7dpo but I honestly don't think I did

FfayeN · 06/12/2022 18:02

@mummatara that is so odd! My temps have been all over the place the last 5 days. I'm sure on one I was technically hypothermic 🤣. If you have no ovulated, or your body thinks you have hopefully AF will show soon 🤞🏼 xx

@bunnykins123 I'm just away Sunday to Friday but I can't wait for the change of scenery and distraction x
