Clear blue test. Evap line or positive

I'm about 8/10 dpo as I'm not certain what day I ovulated. I did a test and forgot about it and went back to it after an hour. I've heard bad things about CB and evap lines, but the line is very much blue.

The very faint one came up in the first five minutes and then the stronger one appeared after about 20.

Hi, can I have some opinions on this as I’m driving myself crazy!

I ovulated on CD16 (27th July). This was confirmed by an ultrasound on CD15 and a progesterone test 7 days after ovulation. BD all through fertile period.

The first ClearBlue 6 days early test I took morning of 11DPO. It was negative then had a faint THIN blue line after 2 hours.

Took another ClearBlue 6 days early test morning of 12DPO, also negative but 2 hours later a darker blue thin line.

The third photo is of my first pregnancy test I took in Feb this year when I was pregnant (MC at 13 weeks). This test I found in the bin a day later so was also invalid but turned out to be positive.

I know these tests are technically invalid but what is your opinion? Pink dye normal tests are coming back completely negative. AF due tomorrow 🤔 Driving myself insane as they all look so similar?

@Ellemay1 a thin blue line after 2 hours on a CB the day before AF due I would say are evaps I’m afraid.

Had a blood test done as I was too impatient. Came back negative this morning so AF is on the way. Will only be using pink dye tests from now on 🥲

I’m still about 7 days from my period. What are your thoughts on this? Is it just an evaporation line?

Looks like a positive! Was it done within the time frame? Test again in 48 hours so hcg can build up some more but looks positive to me! x

There is a line but I can't see any colour. Does it have colour in real life? Is it a FRER? I know a lot of people have had bad indents with FRERs of late. They normally look more grey/colourless.
You'd think at 7 days late the line would be very obvious by now.

It has color when seeing it in person yes. I’ve had a lot of trouble with clear blue having evap lines. I’m going to get bloods done on Monday. Because last time I got 4 test positive with clear blue. 2 blood test came back negative. That was 2 weeks ago.

Yeah sadly clear blue are known for awful evaps with obvious colour. FRERs used to be safe but I've seen some dreadful indents. They don't tend to have colour though. This was a FRER indent. Definitely wasn't pregnant.

I had some symptoms
started to check my urine
the second line appears after 45 minutes
but it’s getting darker every day
could someone tell me why is that for?

Hello everyone, These were taking over 3 days the last one was around 10mins after are they evap lines ? My last period only lasted 1 day been nauseous. Will get a digital one tomorrow.

Evaporation line? It just got darker blue the longer it sat. Google and a friend said it would have been lighter than the control line if it was an evap line, nor would it have the blue dye. Initially, i looked at the test, assumed it was BFN after 2-3 minutes, and threw it in the trash. I came back 45-an hour later, and it looked like first picture, then dried to the darker one... could it be something barely there, just starting? Idk. Im tired of getting my hopes up. The one i took later that night and early the next morning were BFN. They were the same brand. Neither showed an evap line. 😔 im about to give up trying. My heart just cannot anymore. I plan to take one LAST test sunday... just to be sure.

Unfortunately when it comes to clearblue tests the standard "rules" on evap lines don't apply. They can frequently be a very dark blue and be darker (although normally thinner) than the control line. If it didn't come up in the time limit I would discount it. Plus your line looks broken (doesn't go all the way to the top) which makes me think evap. I have had many of those myself. I do not use clearblue anymore unless there's no choice.

Hiya. That looks like it’s positive. Normally evap lines are quite thin. Maybe it’s worth having another test again, preferably first pee in the morning
