Clear blue test. Evap line or positive

I'm about 8/10 dpo as I'm not certain what day I ovulated. I did a test and forgot about it and went back to it after an hour. I've heard bad things about CB and evap lines, but the line is very much blue.

I’m not suppose to start my period for a few more days but am trying to conceive. I have been taking tests (way too early but I couldn’t control myself) and keep getting negatives. I took this, this morning and came back tonight to see this. Could it be a positive or is it an evaporation line?? Thoughts? Thanks so much!

@Bluevano if you’re reading the test outside the timeframe then it’s invalid. That’s a negative test, the line should be the same thickness as the control and a solid colour all the way through. That’s not to say that you’re not pregnant, you may just be too early.

Ttc i don’t know maybe evap line?

Hard to tell, I can’t see if it has colour or is solid. Maybe just very early. Try again tomorrow morning.

What do we think of these are they a faint positive or evap line? They are both the same thickness and blue?

What was the outcome of this? My tests are the same, same thickness all the way through on them xx

Hey @Sobrown … The outcome was positive! I am now currently 21 weeks +3.
Aw gosh well I truly hope yours turns out to be a positive too! How many days is it until your period?

I’ve been ttc for over 2 years. Started clomid this month.
tested this morning 11dpo. Swore I could see something within the time frame but very faint. Then when I got home from work it was more visible.
I know I should disregard it but has anyone experienced the same and it been a bfp?
I’ve bought a digital for tomorrow.

I’m in exactly the same position at the moment due on Sunday so trying to hold off to do anymore test as just don’t know yet. Let me know your outcome! I did this yesterday morning and seems to be a faint line could see better in person. Came up semi thin time frame but then looked like a thin line when I looked at it in the evening like an evap line! (Obviously know I shouldn’t of looked at it after the time frame)

I did a digital today and it said not pregnant so I’m guessing it was an evap. AF due tomorrow so see what happens, not hopeful though x

It’s quite thick for an evap tho normally they are thin! X

Looks like an evap. Clearblue are notorious. Please get a pink dye test and try again.

Hi can people help me pls. I took these tests and they come back negative but after being left a while they turned positive. I know about evap lines but these don't look grey they look blue? I'm so confused

They should be the same thickness as the other lines so they are all evaps.

All negative. Clear blue evaps often show as very bright blue. The way to tell they are evaps is they are very thin. And normally (but not always) appear after the time limit.

So me and my partner have ben trying for 8 months. Past week or so i keep getting extremely nauseous/sick around the same time everyday and constantly tired.
Did a test this afternoon and this is result. Im 7dpo and due my period in 6days. Used a ultra early decetion test. (I really dont have any patience to wait) my best friend and auntie reckon positive but i dont wanna get my hopes up.

That's 100% an evap line. It's broken (doesn't make it all the way to the top) and it's very thin.
This doesn't mean you aren't pregnant though. It's still very early days and you could still get a positive soon. Buy a pink dye test though (I hear boots tests are good) and test again in a few days.

Looking for help please ladies! Top one is from 2 days ago. Bottom one is from yesterday, but it wasn’t the first urine of the day which might be why it’s not as obvious. I’m due my period in 3 days (should have just been patient.) Have ordered FR tests after reading about CB evap lines (and was stung by one last month too.) I’m sure the FR tests will confirm for sure but just wondering if anyone has any opinions?

Mine looked like that and they were evap lines 😬 deffo get a different test wouldn’t use these again! X
