Clear blue test. Evap line or positive

I'm about 8/10 dpo as I'm not certain what day I ovulated. I did a test and forgot about it and went back to it after an hour. I've heard bad things about CB and evap lines, but the line is very much blue.

I have been on the combination pill and missed my withdrawal bleed . Me and my partner weren’t trying to conceive , and are due to be married in the next couple of months .

From looking at the other posts I think these are just evap lines ( clear blue early detection ) ? I have done other tests before now and all negative but I am unsure if I am testing too early ?

I see lots of new posts on here. Ladies, please do not make the same mistake(s) many of us have made with these clear blue tests... please test AFTER you're late and test with FIRST RESPONSE. I took over 50 of these tests while trying and got these lines everytime (was never actually pregnant) , PS they're not "evaporation" lines they're the blue ink seeping through after the testing window time. Please save yourself the overthinking and anxiety and just wait to test when you're supposed to for CLEAR answers. Testing early and seeing these lines could lead to MASSIVE disappointment. Please be patient and test when you're supposed to (after missed period) and use PINK/RED dye tests. & NEVER check your test after the testing window as it states in the instructions that THE TEST IS NO LONGER ACCURATE after the time frame. Please keep hope and keep trying ladies, but please, DITCH the early testing habits with these clear blue tests. Much love and save urself the trouble that I and many other women went through. P.s if you're seeing these lines, if it isn't a thick (thick like the tester line and very obviously blue) but rather a thin blue line, its definitely a negative. I'm sorry if you're coming to this post in hopes you are pregnant with those lines, but they're 100% negative (as of that test date).

Don’t sweat, all negative. Those are evap lines.

When did you dtd? I’d test 19 days after to be sure (sperm lives for 5 days + 14 days to make sure your period is late).

I am not actually sure it could have been any time 😂 it was missing the withdrawal bleed that made me think ..
it could just have been down to stress as it’s getting so close to the wedding ? I have a drs appointment next week to make sure as well

Took a clear blue , noticed a barely noticeable line which I assumed would disappear, left for an hour or so and came back to see this , is this a faint positive or evaporation line? I’m not due my periods for another 2 weeks

I took the test this morning and I waited 3 minutes saw no line so I put it down and go on with my day. Looking back tonight this like is clear but thin. Is it and evaporation line? I’m 3 passed my period due date.

@Dhows this looks like an early positive as the line is thick; defo get an early red dye test; one step strips on Amazon are cheap and accurate

@Hp0708 I'm so sorry, this sounds like the classic 'clearblue Evap'; the line is thin and broken, and only showed once fully dried 😞 try some red dye tests as above - best of luck and hope you get your positive soon ❤️

I took a pink dye test this morning and absolutely nothing. Thinking it was just an evap line

If you're not due on your period for 2 weeks you'd only be ovulating around now so definitely couldn't be pregnant. Most tests can only detect pregnancy at the EARLIEST 6 days before your period. And even that's unusual and 1-2 days (earliest) before is best for a accurate result.

Hi, just wondering what you guys might think of this test. I did it this morning and waited 3 minutes and nothing had come up I then left and thought to recheck a couple of hours later and I’m not sure if it could be evap line or faint positive. I’m due my period in 2 days.

Clear blue! I know this can be a pain for evap lines.

Hi all I'm one day late for period took this morning. I didn't look after the few minutes busy woth kids but saw this an hour later is it an evap line or a positive do you think.

@Kel1986 Evap. It’s thin and is broken at the bottom.

I have done 2 tests and just wanted other peoples opinions on if these are EVAP lines?

@Keirabestwick They’re evaps. You see how thin and inconsistent they are? They should be the same width as the control line and the same colour all the way through.

Get some pink dye tests and wait until you’re 12 dpo or after in case you’re testing too early.

I have a mirena but I recently have been experiencing some pregnancy symptoms. I decided to test, 1 yesterday and 1 today. Yesterdays was extremely faint, and I accidentally left my second one for 15 minutes. Is this an evaporation line or possibly a positive test?

I heard evaporation lines are usually grey in colour rather than blue, and it is pretty blue rather than grey

Yes, still way too thin and also read outside the window so invalid in any case.

Hi. Took 2 clearblue tests yesterday. Both look like this photo, but I looked after an hour. Is this an evap line or a positive? I’m 13 dpo. First response was negative.
