I'm about 8/10 dpo as I'm not certain what day I ovulated. I did a test and forgot about it and went back to it after an hour. I've heard bad things about CB and evap lines, but the line is very much blue.

How can you tell? When I zoom in on them they are a thick blue line forming but I would only be a week/two week gone if I am.

@G3mma1991 because they are in complete lines - I think if you go through this thread you will see loads similar - hopefully not for you but I would imagine if these were bfp you would show on a digital if you need to double check x

2 days past my period due date. This line came up about 5 mins after and started getting darker. I did a mistake on not testing the first thing in the morning.
is it an evap?

Positive clear blue ultra early or evap line? Please bear in mind we saw a blue line within 1-2mins of doing the test but we didn’t read instructions so thought we were looking for a cross. Went to bed peaceful. Realised our mistake - had a heart attack. It’s still there. It’s still blue. And my last proper period was 6 weeks ago. About 3 weeks ago I had a weird period for 1-2 days. Learnt about implantation bleeding today. Joined here to find out what people think? 🤔 husband and I freaking out! Not trying for a baby. Just tried a test because my boobs have been growing rapid and sore since at least 2 weeks was when I first noticed and this week it’s got so stupid my buttons are popping: in a panic, tried a test. Then this happened. What test and when should I test next? I’ve always been regular my whole life until I had the implant placed incorrectly so took that out in 2021 ever since no birth control. Only condoms halfway through. Only other weird symptoms is my bloating, water retention (thought this was too much pizza / chips!) and I’m freezing cold in the feet and hands and face. Headaches. And my pees yellow. I’ve spent the day watching videos and now realise all these things can not just be dehydration or diet but the big P word. Help?

I Had these test results before Xmas from 10 dpo until 12 dpo (I have to test early as I’m having treatment). None of these lines came up immediately but developed as the day went on and the pink one I couldn’t see a line but my friend could. Today I’m 16 dpo and there is nothing so that test isn’t included here. Do you think these were all evap lines?

When are you actually due on your period? How many DPO are you?
In all honesty I would say those are all negative. They are a combination of too thin, too grey or broken/smudged. I would get a pink dye test or digital. If you think you've been testing positive for 2 weeks it would definitely show on a digital. But in my opinion unfortunately they are all negative/void.

@136902C I honestly don’t know what’s happened with cb tests ! They are crap now - I’ve seen and had myself so many false positives - confirmed with bloods that hcg was under 2 … so unfair - maybe try a pink dye and see on them x

Hi,
we are trying to get pregnant, have received these tests, very faint blue lines when in the right time and then after leaving them they have darken into dark blue lines. I’m not due for my period for 5 days however. My results have been very hit or miss.

Early positive or evap?
im due on in 7 days and taken a test this morning a faint line came up within the time frame, I then went to sort my little boy out then went back to the test bang on 10 mins of the test and this appeared? I have posted the first image of before sorting my son then the image after. (Image of the test on the box is after I sorted my boy out)

@Baby013 If it came up within 10 minutes then it could be positive. In my experience I took a clearblue early detection test yesterday and no line appeared within 10 minutes, however when I went back to it there was quite a strong blue line. Today I took a first response and it is negative. If I were you I'd take a different test as I really don't trust clearblue now as I know they are notorious for showing false positives (granted that is usually when you read them after the time frame given). Just to be sure I would take another test from a different company. Good luck!

@Baby013 Negative, the line is thin and doesn’t look right. You are very early to be testing so I’d recommend waiting until you’re closer to your period and using a pink dye test.

@Bubbles32028 Those results are all negative. The line should be the same thickness as the control and solid. You have nothing on the pink dye test so that’s what I’d be going with. That doesn’t mean you are out though, you are still extremely early so try again closer to your period with a pink dye test.

Hello. Can someone tell me if this was an evap line, pls? I'm not ttc.

I've feeling some symptoms but I didn't know if it was pregnancy or anxiety (I'm having stressful events in my life and I'm an anxious person). I also use BC and condoms but idk, I think I just wanted to make sure. I also had sex without condom like a month ago or something.

I took a Clear Blue test and read it for like 10-15 minutes and it was negative. Not even a faint line (first picture). I put it on my bag to discharge it in the morning and then, 12ish hours later I looked at it again and there was a thin blue line (second picture).

So I bought another one from another brand with pink dye. I took it with the first urine in the morning and it was a solid negative too. (third picture)

can someone confirm to me that that was an evap line, pls?

@IdcWtv That’s an evap. You can see how thin it looks, that would never pass as a positive.

I’m not suppose to start my period for a few more days but am trying to conceive. I have been taking tests (way too early but I couldn’t control myself) and keep getting negatives. I took this, this morning and came back tonight to see this. Could it be a positive or is it an evaporation line?? Thoughts? Thanks so much!
