Clear blue test. Evap line or positive

I'm about 8/10 dpo as I'm not certain what day I ovulated. I did a test and forgot about it and went back to it after an hour. I've heard bad things about CB and evap lines, but the line is very much blue.

Looking for some advice please!! Took 2 tests 6/7 dpo as had extremely sore breasts and just feeling a little ‘off’. Aware I’m testing too early but are these evap lines or possible faint positives? Ordered some pink dye tests as I now know from doing my research that CB are not very reliable and will do these in a few days time 🤞🏼

The top test I came back to later as i assumed it was a negative and then I saw this line after a few hours so assuming evap but the bottom came up after around 6/7 mins..

Hi everyone! I am having the same issue with clear blue. Is this an evap line? I bought clear blue thinking they were the best but I've read so many forums with people having issues like this. Is it positive?

hi just wondering as heard cb have some thin blue Evap lines but also got a positive on first response dip and reads so not sure but has anyone been pregnant and got these faint lines early on aswell

Hi ladies what do you think of this test ? I’m not sure but people who have seen it are saying positive😬 this would be probably less then an hour of doing it and the others I have done have been the same less then an hour and the line is clear enough to read, would this be an evaporation line or a positive line?

Hi guys, I'm back again but not with a Clearblue cause was I sick of the false hope and evap lines 😭

I'm 12DPO today (AF due on Saturday).

BD everyday in fertile period. No symptoms other than being a little more hungry. Took an early response 6 days early test, waited 5 mins and came back to this.

Faint positive or indent?😭🤞🏼

In my experience this is an evap, especially if it's been past the valid test time. - literally every clearblue I've used seems to do this after it dries out around an hour later. Get a pink dye test to be sure 💗x

Took these in one day then the pink one the next a few days ago
all my family are telling me it’s early signs
having pregnancy symptoms over my period ones tho just wanna ask the girls before I test again my period isn’t due for like 5/6 days

Hi. I would like to know if below pregnancy test is a positive or negative? The line appeared after 10-15 minutes after but the line is quite blue . Is this an evap or an actual positive? Ive done 3 of the same tests at 3 different times and the result is the same .could someone confirm if its a positive or just an evap? I did a digital and its showing "Not Pregnant ". Please someone confirm. My period is not due until atleast another 7 days.

Negative in my opinion. The line is too thin. Clearblue evaps are very often very dark blue. So don't be fooled by the colour. I've had many looking like that myself. Also 7 days before period is far too early even for early detection tests. Most are earliest 6 days before.
So it doesn't mean you're not pregnant. But if that was my test I'd discard it. Try again with a pink dye test in about 4-5 days earliest.

Hello @PaperSheet . Thank you for your insight. However dr google says result of an evap line is colorless or grey colour and also mime this is dark blue.

It might say that but if you Google and read the countless mumsnet threads about it you'll see that so so many people have these thin dark blue lines (including me many times) and are not pregnant. If you want to take it as a positive that's up to you. But I see so many people get disappointed by these tests unfortunately. Especially 7 days before your period it would not be that dark if it was a true positive in my opinion.

You mean until it fades? In my experience they don't. I've had them for days and they only get darker over time. Then I bin them. I don't use them anymore (and haven't for a long time).

Hi! I was just wondering if anyone thinks this is an evap line or faint positive?

I tested with my afternoon urine with an Ultra Early Clearblue test and read the results 30min after testing. Am I positive or EVAP line?

are these evap? The stick labelled “1” showed a line within 10 minutes but the other 2 showed after 10 minutes. Then I tested again and I got no result lol. Opinions?

I can see a vvfl within the time frame, picking up a pink dye one tomorrow

Im just learning about taking tests and reading the results. We haven’t been trying for very long but I’ve had two test come out with lines. First one extremely faint, the second very skinny. I’m a little confused. I am 14 days late on my period and not sure if I should take another test or just go to the clinic. Anyone have any advice or suggestions? Anything and everything is greatly appreciated! Thank you <3

looking for advice on the two photos, top test done first and the bottom done second (both timed within the 3 minute window) appeared like this right away. Went to doctors, test there was negative however waiting for bloods .. just wanting to see thoughts as this is not the first time Clear Blue has done this to me

I have been taking pregnancy test and ovulation strips just to keep track. This morning I took one pregnancy test and ovulation test . The pregnancy test came back with a faint line I took another one same thing but then I took another 3 test and it came back negative. Is it a negative or positive?
