End of November testers (TTC August Baby)

Hey ladies,

Thought I would create a thread for those testing towards the end of Nov/early December.

I'm CD2, TTC first baby. On cycle 5.

@marleyandme that looks really promising!!! Fingers crossed for an even darker line next time you test, I can def see a faint line there though.

Still no sign of AF and I’m now on CD31 (usually my cycles are 27 days). I couldnt sleep a wink last night so finally bought some FRER tests this morning. I’m absolutely bricking it. No idea as to when I can test as I’m in work, so it might have to wait till this evening/tomorrow first thing.

I'm jumping in on this thread 💕
I had a miscarriage back in July at 7 weeks💔 and have been trying again since end of August, so this will be cycle 4 of trying 🙏
I'm currently 8dpo I keep telling myself not to symptom spot because I did that last month and drove myself crazy😔 but I have indeed started to symptom spot🙄🤣 my period isn't due till the 7th of December and I have a 28/29 day cycle like clockwork!

I've been so run down this week 😴 Monday I was extremely exhausted, headaches and bunged up, but not like a cold🤔 not so tired now but still bunged up, I've been having mild cramps/pinches in my abdomen, but I'm also thinking I'm constipated (tmi sorry!) so wondering if the pains I'm getting is down to that more than my actual uterus? 🤔 the only time I've ever been constipated is when I was pregnant with my daughter and that wasn't till I was like 35 weeks!
Anyway other symptoms, I've been breaking out since the start of the week which barely happens to me, and today I went to the bathroom and had quite a bit of CM which was white, and quite a lot more than I've had during my cycles (again tmi sorry!!)
My boobs aren't really feeling sore or anything which I have had in both previous pregnancies so not hopeful!

so bit of an update.. I’m not really sure what’s going on. I had a negative clear blue digital yesterday I only got a positive (within 2 minutes) on a pink first response on Sunday. I’m due AF tomorrow. Yesterday I had burning cramps and I tiny bit of light pinky weird discharge possibly spotting when I wiped. I thought oh no, she’s on her way and im having a chemical or it just was a dodgy test. anyway, woke up this morning expecting AF to be there or at least more spotting..but cramps have gone and no more blood when I wipe?
maybe she’s still on her way, but I’m can’t rule it out yet! Too scared to take another test. maybe I should get another pink dye?

I'd definitely get a pink dye test, if you already started spotting your period would have only gotten heavier, but the fact it hasn't is hopeful!
It could be implantation so leaving it a couple of days would be good as the hcg needs time to increase to get a good line on the test, but definitely get a pink dye test!

@SarahEvans1996 Thankyou!! I’m hoping the same. The only thing confusing is the positive test on Sunday, you’d think if this was implantation bleeding why would it have been positive a few days ago? just keep thinking it’s not going to happen for me :(

I had a chemical last month. On the day AF was due I had a very faint line on a pregnancy test. However, three days later AF came full force. I was gutted I tested and said I would only do it again if I was late. My cycles are never later than 28 days so this cycle I am currently day 32, I've tested this afternoon and this is the test? I feel like this is way too faint for being late? Do you think it will be another chemical? Thanks for looking 😊

Maybe the line you had was an indent? 🤔 And obviously the spotting was the implantation after? When is your AF due? Make sure to keep us updated!

I definitely see the line on that test! Your period hasn't shown up which is a positive sign! Some people don't have their dye sealers till much later so try not to stress yourself out🥰 take one on Friday or Saturday to compare! But my fingers are crossed for you!! 🤞 Xx

possibly. I was just so happy to see that pink like come up, within 2 minutes. You think you’d be able to trust the tests!!

when is your AF due?

I’m feeling very deflated. I have had “symptoms” - sore breasts, overly emotional, today I’ve felt faint. Tested several times, the last time being today at 12dpo and all have been negative. I just know I’m out but wish my body wouldn’t play mind tricks

@Misspotterscat you're not out until AF appears! I'm 14dpo (potentially based on very bad app data) and am only now getting a faint line. If I'd have tested 2 days ago I'd have thought it was completely negative too. Waiting is difficult though!

Finally came home to do a test and it’s BFP 😱. The test line is a lot stronger than control line and came up immediately. I’ll post a picture after I tell DH.

Tbh I’m in utter shock right now. We only DTD CD8 and CD21 so had already ruled myself out. Mixed emotions - we were half heartedly trying but not expecting a positive so early! I also have a very very close friend struggling with TTC so am very anxious about telling her. She didn’t know we were starting to try yet so I’m worried I should have been more upfront. Obviously December is the season of more social engagements than you can shake a stick at so also worried how on earth I will mask not drinking?!
Im sorry I’m all over the shop emotionally- I know I’m really lucky and shouldn’t take any of the above for granted.

With my son I got a negative at cd32 (14dpo) and then a positive on cd 34 (16dpo).

I'm a big believer in seeing if period arrives. Good luck x

Cycle day 51 today. I'm fed up now. I just want my period to arrive. My cycles are usually long anyway so if this is a double cycle then I could be here until day 64. I don't want that

I thought I had some darker discharge today but nope. Still creamy and thick.

I'm going to do one last pregnancy tests tomorrow. A nice pink frer. After that I'm just waiting. Waiting. Waiting.

Congratulations. Hiding drinking is actually really easy. Make sure you buy your own drinks when out and a small drink won't do you any harm.

In regards to your friend, I think I would probably text them before you announce to the world and then they can process on their own away from the main announcement.

@marleyandme congrats on your line! That’s wonderful. I have a box of easy at home tests that I’m working my way through each morning!
@ScotsBaby2 AF due Friday but not always bang on time. But nice to hear that others have had negatives at this point and then later positive results.
good luck with tomorrows test, it’s so frustrating and I have no willpower to wait!

@ScotsBaby2 thanks for the advice. It’s just a shock to the system right now. I actually had a glass of wine 2 nights ago as I was so sure AF was going to turn up.

This friend I see so often, she will be the one I tell immediately after DH and before my own family. I actually worry we spend so much time together she might need some space from me :(

just wondering if anyone else has come across this I’m currently on cycle 5 TTC

Previous cycles have been between 29-33 days with the odd 23 day cycle.. I’m now on CD 19 and on my third day of flashing smileys.! On CD 17 ( I got high fertility flashing smiley I had pink cm when wiping) sorry TMI, but has anyone else experienced this and is this wishful thinking but could I have possibly ovulated super early and missed my peak and pink cm could have been implantation and the the flashing faces indicate pregnancy ?

I know I’m probably jumping the gun but can’t help but cross my mind.. just wondering if anyone has heard of this happening where clearblue pick up HCG XX

AF is due on the 7th, but I think I'm going to pick up some test tomorrow and do one and see how that goes, if it's negative I'm going to just wait it out then and see if AF shows up! Xx

@Lollywhite I did a clearblue opk the other day just out of interest, I’m nearly 5 weeks now and it was static smiley and the line was like this inside of that helps! Xx

My bbs were so achy today I had to take my bra off. I think I'm just super-sensitive to any pms symptoms this month though, as I know there's a chance. Although it could also be the 4lbs I put on on holiday two weeks ago, maybe it all went on my chest 😅

I guess I'll know tomorrow as I normally start spotting lightly 2 days before AF is due.

@ChloeN oh really that’s interesting! i mean I'm thinking its got to show static by at least tomorrow or I’m going to have a really long cycle this month!

@CityKity congratulations! I was in the exact same situation 2 years ago with my little boy when I found out I was pregnant. Our closest couple friends had literally had a miscarriage just 2 weeks before I found out and had been honest and told us. I was delighted to get a positive but instantly thought ‘oh god, how can we tell them that?!’ I texted it to her in the end up, just because I knew it would sting, no matter how happy she was for us. I thought at least if you text it they don’t have to do a false reaction and if they want to go and have a cry without you seeing they can. I’m sure they’ll be pleased for you. My friend got her happy ending after all after a really awful journey to get there a o hopefully yours will too 😊 Also the drinking thing is my biggest fear this cycle 😂 No idea what I’d do at these nights out! My number one thing though is just never to admit you’re not drinking, you must pretend at all costs! 😅
