End of November testers (TTC August Baby)

Hey ladies,

Thought I would create a thread for those testing towards the end of Nov/early December.

I'm CD2, TTC first baby. On cycle 5.

fingers crossed for us all!

@ChloeN 😂😂 there’s clearly a market for them! They count anything as a symptom!

@Roxybabe if you do test early when would you do it? Xx

@BCxx yes they MUST have there dates wrong!! I had to stop watching them as I was becoming obsessed with any little thing and made my SS worse.

@ChloeN can I ask if you had symptoms before BFP?

@Roxybabe totally or I was getting annoyed when they say ‘get pregnant fast!’ and show you that you just need to take a few ovulation tests and bang you’ll be pregnant 🙄🙈

@ChloeN well I guess I’ll be 11DPO on Saturday so maybe then. But I only have internet cheapies(easy at home) not sure how good they are, I’m banning FRERs this month! I spent a fortune on those darn tests and got a horrible indent last cycle. I always said I want to hold out until AF though as I’m actually scared of BFN now.

@BCxx oh yeah I watched them thinking they would tell me of some miraculous baby making tips but they are all literally dipping OPKs and sticking them in a notepad 😂😂 no shade to anyone who does this!

@Roxybabe easy@home was what I used so they seem quite sensitive! I have never had an evap or indent on them! Yes I had cramps at 6 dpo ish, then sore boobs for first time since mmc, increased cm and the day before bfp I went for a wee 4 times in a hour, I drink lots of water but that’s just ridiculous! I understand holding out though seeing a bfn is just awful xx

@ChloeN oh no I’ll def keep testing LH, even if I’m not pregnant just so I can see what the norm is for me. LHs dont scare me as much 😂

Well I’m also having OPK confusion, but in a different way. I’ve had a flashing smiley for 11 days! 😱 I definitely felt like I ovulated last week but my lines have stayed roughly the same for a week so I don’t think I can have. I only have one test left so if it’s still flashing tomorrow I’m giving up!

That meant to say exciting about your BFP @ChloeN! OPKs on the mind! 🤦‍♀️

@Roxybabe yes it was really unusual for me so that’s why I searched and saw it could be implantation🤣🤣 I think this cycle there was lots of little things that added up now I think of it!

I only tested twice on 1 day, maybe 2, so it’s possible it missed my peak. Or I just haven’t ovulated this cycle. Judging from other things (CM etc) I’m pretty sure it’s too late for me to ovulate now so I’ll just assume it was last week and see when I get my period.

Good luck with the testing @Roxybabe, hopefully your dark OPKs are a good sign! The darkest OPK I’ve ever had was when I was pregnant so 🤞 yours keep getting darker!

@ChipAndDip i missed my peak this month too and I felt so down about it but it obviously did happen anyway, earlier than expected but probably because I was relaxed not testing as much!

It’s loads darker! This is similar to how mine is today. Fingers crossed for us both!

@ImpatienceOfASaint oh really, eeeek fingers crossed! what DPO are you? I’m only 8dpo so too early to test!!

Ladies, help!
My period was due yesterday, nothing.
I've taken two tests with FMU and one is positive, the other is negative.
The positive one is a Boots pregnancy test strip.

Just as a side note - I make pink dye tests positive when I'm not pregnant (a blood test didn't show anything unusual).
11/12 DPO, a few very mild symptoms that come and go.

I'm not sure what to think or do?!

Jumping on this thread if that's OK. Cycle 1 ttc baby number 2. Conceived in month 7 with my first and it felt like a thousand years so hoping this time is quicker. I think I'm in my tww but not 100% sure as only started doing opks on CD 12 and have only gotten really strong positives no official peaks (I think). I would havebstarted testing earlier but promised myself I would be more chill about ttc this time...hahahaha. yea that lasted all of 5 minutes. We have BD PLENTY to cover us anyway starting at CD 10 so not worried too much about having missed the O if it's been and gone which going by CM I think it has. We've done a loose interpretation of SMEP this month. Ugh I hate this already. Due AF 8th Dec so we shall see. Loving the positivity on this thread and congratulations to all the BFP!
