End of November testers (TTC August Baby)

Hey ladies,

Thought I would create a thread for those testing towards the end of Nov/early December.

I'm CD2, TTC first baby. On cycle 5.

@DaniRose94 I'm sorry about your CPs ❤
You said you got pregnant the last three cycles? I'd recommend giving yourself a month off, your body likely needs to re-set. I've also had three CPs this year and I found a non ttc month in-between was really important to me.

Morning ladies!

Either 9 or 10dpo today, OPKs were showing very high 13th and 14th. Woke up this morning literally bursting for a wee and also noticed my skin is SO oily. Literal oil slick and it’s not been like that since my teens (which I am far from now, ha). Didn’t have any pregnancy tests so thought I’d wee on an OPK and it’s showing high again (although not peak) when it definitely had been much fainter last few days. What do we think? My cycles are really regular 30 days. Worth a POAS later?

@ImpatienceOfASaint if it’s higher than normal I would test, my LH starting shooting up 9/10dpo and got a faint positive the same day! Good luck xx

Eek! Mine were definitely far fainter/negative at this point in previous cycles. I’ll test later and update.

@ImpatienceOfASaint mine too, when I’ve not been pregnant they always go super low, I’m crossing my fingers for you! Xx

Ok looks like there’s possibly a VVVFL but could well be an ident. Can’t pick it up in a picture as it’s so faint, and now past the 10mins. I’m not going to get my hopes up but will test again tomorrow

@ImpatienceOfASaint what test did you use? Probably best to use fmu for this early! Xx

Only a Tesco one. Will get some more tonight to test with FMU tomorrow. The 2ww really is the worst isn’t it!

How are we all doing ladies?

8DPO today and tested LH and the line isn’t positive but its alot darker then the last few days and the LH rising symbol has come up on premom. I’m not going to read into it as it might be nothing and I hate to get my hopes up as I have done this too many times only for BFNs and AF to arrive. But always good to have a little hope isn’t it. No other symptoms at all really that are significant. 🙏🙏 praying for us all!

OK so I’ve read this can also happen before AF…. Excitement over! 😂 was fun while it lasted!

@Roxybabe 8dpo seems too soon for it to be AF?? When is it due? Xxx

@ChloeN not until the 29th, it’s only a small rise so I won’t read into it too much and keep testing LH over the next few days and see. TBF I have nothing to compare it to as I usually stop testing around CD20. But usually my LH baseline is around 0.2

@Roxybabe this was mine this cycle, I’d read the CD21 could be implantation, then I got my first bfp on CD24. My LH is usually 0.1ish xx

@ChloeN thats interesting. So you got an LH surge after a BFP? What DPO did you get a BFP?

@Roxybabe CD24 which was either 9/10dpo, but once I saw the LH was double how it normally is I thought it might be something, this was my LH in September when I wasn’t pregnant xx

@ChloeN ooooh thats very interesting, my baseline is usually very low, usually 0.2 and below but like I said I usually stop testing around CD20!! I mean 0.44 is still low and isnt positive but still, it’s something! How you feeling now? I was going to hold out for AF but maybe I’ll test sooner.

@ChloeN this was it compared to yesterdays. The top one is usually my baseline when i’m not ovulating. Its def darker isnt it…

@Roxybabe ohh this is exciting!! I watch all these daft videos on YouTube, usually women ttc in America and they all seem to do this. Must be something in it! That’s a lot darker than it would be

@BCxx I’ve watched them too 😂😂 they all seem to get their BFPs at 7dpo too 😂

@Roxybabe i guess at this stage there’s not much hcg hence why they’re lower but todays one is the darkest LH I’ve ever had🤣 but yes your todays defo looks higher which is surely odd for this stage in your cycle?? I was meant too as well but I just did a test, mostly expecting it to be negative and it wasn’t 🤣 I’m over the moon to be pregnant again tbh I was getting really down about it! If you do test let me know how it goes! Xxx

@Roxybabe yeah my frequency of viewing these types of videos definitely shoots up in the tww every time 🤣 I know, what on earth are they using to test?! I reckon they’ve just got their dates wrong!

@BCxx i love those videos 🤣 years ago I watched one that said they got veiny boobs and I still look out for that now 😂😂
