End of November testers (TTC August Baby)

Hey ladies,

Thought I would create a thread for those testing towards the end of Nov/early December.

I'm CD2, TTC first baby. On cycle 5.

@JuniperandI ohhh! That’s confusing 🤔 do you have a FRER or a different test you could use? Surely if you get multiple positives that’s got to be a positive

Morning ladies.

thats me 8 DPO and woke up with horrid cramps and sore legs funnily enough. AF not due until Wednesday. So will see how this progresses.

@JuniperandI - I can see a definite line there. Haven’t got loads of experience with this but could it be a false negative on the other one or a
dodgy test?

I am guessing the advice is to wait it out? Which is not helpful really but seems to be the only thing that can be done. If you are post expecting AF maybe a digital test?

I am either 9 or 7 DPO - I couldn’t wait any longer and did a cheapy test from Home Bargains this morning - it was super negative. I’m on cycle 2 for baby #2, so don’t feel my disappointment is proportionate but I am gutted. I know it’s early and I have a digital to use later on the week- AF not due until either Wednesday or Thursday next week so I am being too keen - I admire people who can wait until AF is missed to test! Such willpower!!!

@BCxx I make FRER's positive when I'm not pregnant (I know, it's weird) otherwise I'd grab one of those. I think I'll wait a few days and grab a Clearblue.

@JuniperandI can you get a clearblue ultra early
digital?? By 11/12 dpo I would think it would show up!

@ChloeN I have one of those! I've just had a little bit of spotting though so I think I might be out this month anyway.

@JuniperandI ah no😔 have you ever done a boots one before and it go positive? X

@ChloeN I've never used them before. I'll stick with Clearblue in the future I think.

@JuniperandI that’s so bizarre, I thought you just meant the cheap ones! Yeah clearblue is the way to go I think

Thank you for all your support this morning ladies. I'm definitely spotting so I think I was just a day late for AF.

On to the fourth cycle (in Jan..I'm taking December off from tracking, testing LH etc)..

i gave in at 7dpo which is probably very early after having some bleeding 5DPO (very unusual hopefully implantation bleeding?!). Of course I got a BFN today, LH strips still reading 0 on Premom but BBT is still higher than pre-ovulation. I’m not out yet. Going to try not to test until 9DPO now and AF due 13DPO.

My spotting has stopped....again
Anyone else had start-stop-start spotting like this?

@JuniperandI it couldn’t be implantation could it? AF arrived for me like that last time and after nosediving into the pit of ‘oh no, AF had arrived’ I came back out the other side, having decided it must be implantation and I must be pregnant. Woke up the next morning, AF arrived at full force, okay not pregnant then 😂 hopefully yours is lighter than mine

@BCxx I'm 11/12 DPO, seems a bit late for implantation? Probably just AF messing with me!

I think I'll take my chances and have a hot bath and a glass of wine tonight!

On the back of this morning I have been feeling slightly nauseas today. I'm not sure if i am just imagining it though, or its PMS or........ (i darent jinx it by saying it). Holding off testing until next week when AF is due.

@UserL95 you must be at a similar cycle date to me! AF is due next Wednesday so I'm trying to hold out on testing until next weekend but the urge is strong! This is my first cycle 😩 trying to distract myself!

@marleyandme yes AF also due next Wednesday for me!! I will probably retest on Sunday when I am 10DPO… if I can wait that long. I definitely won’t be able to wait until next weekend although I wish I could

AF arrived today - on to the next one! Good luck to everyone still in the TWW. I think being able to enjoy wine and Baileys over Xmas is cushioning the blow for me this month!

@ChloeN @ImpatienceOfASaint Right back down again this morning 😞Praying it was implantation and will follow your chart Chloe! 🙏 but for some reason I’m not hopeful.

mine’s back down too and a BFN today! Feel like I’m out this cycle

@UserL95 ah how exciting, good luck! I'm tempted to test this weekend but I'm seeing my mum and a close friend next week and I don't think I could avoid talking to them about it if I tested before which is why I'm planning to hold off. I figure if I don't know I won't have anything to say 😂 that and I feel like if I find out I am pregnant I'll suddenly 'experience' loads of symptoms (all placebo) which I wouldn't if I don't know.
This all sounds very weird written down 🙈

Oh now I've had to go and test my LH!

Nothing interesting unfortunately but it helps to have an extra obsession right? 😅
