@NSx my opk has started to rise 🥳 so much for me not testing lol🤣

NSx · 09/11/2022 11:45

I was wondering if you would get it today, is it the cheap ones you’re using ? 🥳 @ChloeN

OP posts:
ChloeN · 09/11/2022 11:54

@NSx yep just those easy@home ones! It’s not peak yet but I think it’ll be there by tonight or tomorrow, I don’t think I’m going to test anymore 🤭

NSx · 09/11/2022 12:02

@ChloeN thats good - u are on my schedule 😂😂😂 except that for some reason mine came early this month but I thought I would be ovulating tomorrow like u 😂😂😂 weird.
my temp rose this morning too, so not sure if I ovulated this morning early or through the night 😅 who knows it’s all so confusing. I’m done with testing now tho guess I will be on my 2WW today/tonight/tomorrow who knows 😂😅

@NSx very nearly cycle twins 🤣 the dreaded tww 😭 I’m not in it yet and I’m already not looking forward to it

NSx · 09/11/2022 12:54

I’m dreading it too, I’m not hopeful I never am.
no expectations, less disappointments 😭

Hi @ChloeN and @NSx - got my leak on the cb digi today, so I'm right there with you gals! Here comes the tww... yay

ChloeN · 09/11/2022 14:03

@NSx @FieldView least we’re all in it together🥰
It definitely is easier to have no expectations, I would love for it be all of our months🥹

Mummyme87 · 09/11/2022 14:50

BFN at 11dpo today. Urgh. So fed up. AF due Friday.

NSx · 09/11/2022 15:28

@ChloeN @FieldView cycle buddies 💕💕 I can’t wait for this all to be over 😂😂😂 I’m already mentally into my next cycle 😅😂🥹

@Mummyme87 im so sorry 😭💕 what cycle is this for you? Honestly it’s exasperating all of this.

OP posts:
Mummyme87 · 09/11/2022 16:12

@NSx this is cycle 14 for me. Very exasperating

Nypie · 09/11/2022 21:00

So sorry @Mummyme87. Have you got any results from testing?

I'm on to cycle 5 and already over it. We won't be trying this month but we'll be getting him checked and me after. We both have conditions that could affect this process so I'm not waiting. Are there any tests that people recommend? Its all very expensive I have a internal scan book referral with the NHS but god knows how long that'll take I just had a an appointment with the hosp pushed back to 2023 🙄🙄

Babydust99 · 09/11/2022 21:13

@Mummyme87 I got a bfn today too at 15dpo af due tomorrow. Dreading it 😭 which test did you use?

NSx · 09/11/2022 21:16

@Mummyme87 oh I’m sorry 🥺you must be exhausted with all of this - have you been referred by your GP for anything ?

@Nypie are you going private ? this is cycle 5 for me and I’m not holding my breath 😭 I’ve just ovulated so got a long way to go FML

OP posts:
Mummyme87 · 09/11/2022 21:25

I’ve had abdominal and trans vaginal scan which was normal, I’ve had FSH and LH done which is normal, I’ve had progesterone done 3 times in luteal phase twice was too low to confirm ovulation and once was high enough.
previous pregnancies just happened so easily, only difference now is being obvs a bit older and only having one tube now

ChloeN · 09/11/2022 21:26

@Nypie I emailed a few private clinics today about testing, I don’t know what some of the tests mean tbh need to do a bit of research 🤣 one I found was £275 which didn’t seem too bad!

@Mummyme87 @Babydust99 sorry to hear ladies, bfns are the absolute worst 😭

NSx · 09/11/2022 21:33

@Mummyme87 i guess maybe it’s just going to take a bit longer then than usual - try not to be too hard on yourself 💖 this journey is difficult I know x

@Babydust99 sorry for BFN girl 😭🤍

@ChloeN please let me know what you find, im tempted to do the same if this nonsense continues into the new year x

OP posts:
Nypie · 09/11/2022 21:47

Aw @Babydust99 this is so crap a bfp must be due for atleast one of us!

@NSx yeah, has to private for us, I did suggest OH try to get tested with the NHS but he would rather pay and get it done quickly, I think his will be 180 so no too bad. Im so over this process. When AF arrived I just thought of course. I hate being in this mindset as well it just puts a damper on everything! I really hope you get your bfp, I'll honestly be so happy. Do you think you'll get any tests done?

@Mummyme87 sounds like most of the test were really positive, but having the one tube must be really hard. I hope it happens for you again and very soon.

@ChloeN 😂😂 I'm with you with these fertility test some are very detailed and some so breif I'm like is this actually a fertility blood test or will you be testing my vit c levels. I'll probably send a few emails soon but keep thinking its best to do OH first...not entirely sure why. 275 is great is that a package? Ive been seeing 250 consultation 300 scan 130 to talk about the results...130 for a chat. They're laughing. I've seen package for 500 to 800 depending on the tests. Apparently I now have more money than sense.

ChloeN · 09/11/2022 21:59

@NSx I’ll keep you updated, I think new year will be a good time to do it, I asked one place and there wait list was around a month so not too long! How long will the new year be of you trying in total? X

@Nypie just looked back on the email, this is what they said was included
AMH
LH
FSH
TSH
Full blood count
Vitamin D
Random glucose
3D pre-treatment scan

Ive asked how much semen analysis as they didn’t say but surely if all of those are only 275 can’t see it being too expensive??
The other place I asked offers a scan, amh and semen analysis for 400

Mummyme87 · 09/11/2022 22:09

I was looking aT private clinics also. I think I need ovulation induction but I can’t afford £2k per monitored cycle

Babydust99 · 09/11/2022 22:11

Thanks girls.

@Nypie 100% a few of us are definitely due one!

Nypie · 09/11/2022 22:33

Sounds good! @ChloeN any chance of these are in London. I'm looking at quite highly rated clinics as I dont think I could deap with unsympathetic drs right now. But the ones I've seen are expensive.
@Mummyme87 2k per cycle! Wow. So annoying that you cant get this help if you've got kids

@Babydust99 definitely.

NSx · 09/11/2022 22:59

@Nypie it’s so stressful and they tell u stress can hinder ttc but I don’t know how you’re supposed to not be stressed??? So stupid.
so we started ttc in December 2021 fell pregnant feb 2022, lost her end of may and haven’t had even a sniff of a BFP since. This is cycle 5 for us of trying since our loss in May, and it just ain’t happening.
I did bloods at my gp, they checked LH, FSH & progesterone a few months ago, all normal. So don’t really know where to go. My specialist said I wasn’t to speak to my gp until 12 months - that would be June next year I can’t wait til then I’ll be sectioned 😭😂 so will check out some places and if nothing happens by the new year I’ll see where we go! @ChloeN think that answers ur question too. What are u thinking on doing? Obvs didn’t get preg by my due date so here I am !

OP posts:
FieldView · 09/11/2022 23:14

@ChloeN that's what I'm going with - a scan, amh and semen analysis for £400. Getting the other regular blood tests done on the nhs though (hopefully). Your package looks like a bargain!

ChloeN · 10/11/2022 07:45

@Nypie both in Cambridge, I also looked at London Womens too! I think because I’m only really looking at testing I’m not overly fussed where I go, they all seem to have a couple of shit reviews🤣

@NSx how bloody fustrating for you, June is ages away!! Tbh I’m just impatient, I don’t think I particularly need to do anything but I would just hate to leave it months and months then find out I’m deficient in something, get a tablet for it and then end up pregnant straight away!

@FieldView thats what I thought was a normal price tbh, that’s the only concerning thing why is the other one so much cheaper 🤣🤣
