Me again ladies... Im a bit confused with the CB digital ovulation test. So I said I wouldn't test for ovulation this month (lied to myself and couldn't resist 😅) Last month I had a 25 day cycle and got a static smiley on day 10, so ovulated day 11 I think.

This month I didn't test until Thursday which was cycle day 14 for me and I've had flashing smileys for the last three days now.

If I ovulated earlier than when I tested and I missed it, what does it mean if I'm getting flashing smileys? I'll keep testing but I'm a bit confused. X

did another LH this morning and still super high as well as a high cervix and the sore boobs! My OH told me I was emotionally unstable last night too because I was either crying or laughing 😅

I just got a very positive OPK! There was hardly a line yesterday and now it’s so strong!! We DTD Wednesday, yesterday and will tomorrow so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

@BethSuz27 hoping your signs are positive! Are you testing this weekend or holding out until Monday?

@Glawen I think the CB digis need to see the LH surge to give a static smiley. My understanding is that you get a flashing smiley when they detect estrogen, and then the static when they see the LH surge. I don't think they would give a static if you start testing after the surge, but I'm not 100% sure! I use them though and ended up getting my static three days later than usual this cycle, so you may be ovulating late?

@Glawen hopeful for you too! Be positive! This is your month girl! One thing I didn’t slightly different this month is told myself I was pregnant until something said otherwise and I felt so much more positive!

@FieldView holding out till Monday! Wanted to do it while OH is at work so I can surprise him! And I can’t afford any more tests till Monday haha! How are you getting on?

@glawen I have never used the CB ones, just the amazon cheapies, but I would keep testing and carry on DTD if you can just incase. My ovulation day can vary month to month. Mine can vary from CD14 -CD20..

Hello ladies

I'm 4 or 5 DPO, exhausted and a little queasy. Also a bit sniffly in the morning and I keep getting lightheaded. I've had three CPs this year so I'm symptom spotting like mad!

Anyone else symptom spotting?!

@JuniperandI I’m 7DPO and told myself I wasn’t going to symptom spot this cycle but can’t help myself!

@Glawen 11dpo and super positive still for OPK, second day running, cervix super high and no sign of AF, super achey boobs and been weeing a lot today! Super hungry and according to OH mood swings haha!

Can you use OPKs as PG tests?!

@JuniperandI because LH (ovulation hormone) and HCG (pregnancy hormone) are very similar chemically, ovulation tests can sometimes pick up pregnancy, there have been quite a few cases of someone getting a positive OPK - so the test line is as dark or darker than control - and then testing for pregnancy and getting BFP, however you have to be careful because you can sometimes can an LH surge before AF shows

Can anyone see a second line? Only dtd once this month but I am 3 days late, mild nausea, dry mouth and very runny nose

How is everyone doing? I don't know where I am in terms of O but my period is predicated in 12 days. Desperation is kicking in for me now, trying to be positive and tell myself it's ok, this is the month but I'm symptom spotting and overthinking a lot x
