Hi all,

I'm new here and looking for my cycle buddies.

Currently CD24, 8 DPO. I'm in my TWW and the wait is killing me! Tested with FMU today and BFN. Although I convinced myself I saw a shadow, I think it's probably my line eyes lol.

I miscarried my first pregnancy 23/08 at 4w2d ( CP )

Praying for my BFP this month

Anybody else in the same boat??

@Lovelybubble I really struggled with OPKs and it started to stress me out about whether I was ovulating or not so I started using digital ones to take the guess work out. They are quite pricey in comparison but I just wanted to have some reassurance for a few cycles until I'm sure that I'm ovulating regularly

Yeah I do too but I’ve had it a few days now and nausea has just kicked in. I think if anything I am maybe 1 or 2 DPO, as I had my peak on Friday.

I would recommend tracking, I went off Flo for the first few months and this was the first month we used OPKs. Looks like Flo had my ovulation out by about a week!!!

Ive used CB advanced OPK and it’s been super easy xx

@TTC2022newbie I’m not sure… I think You can still have a cycle, but they are longer. Mine can be quite long so it does worth me

@Firsttimetrying2022 ah thank you! Might be worth me trying them for a month or two just to put my mind at ease. I promised myself I wouldn’t become obsessed, but it’s just so hard. I’ve waited so long x

@Lovelybubble I'm also struggling with OPKs, thinking my urine might be too diluted. It's stressful especially when it's all new.

This is my first cycle after coming off pull i. August. I'm CD17 and awaiting ovulation confirmation on Natural
Cycles and given up with OPKs for this cycle

What OPKs are you using and what time are you testing?

I came off the pill in June, hoping it’s fully out of my system! Heard a few people say it can stay in your system for a few months 🤷🏻‍♀️

@RJS20 I'm using cheap One Step strips as it's my first cycle and didn't expect much luck. I'm testing in the afternoon but it's so tricky to not drink water before as I'm a teacher and get so thirsty. Think I'll accept that this month is done and be more prepared for next!

Think tracking will also help with getting my ovulation date more accurate next cycle

AF Is due 5 Oct but I do vary 2/3 days!

Early one from me🤭 CD34/3 days late.

Here's this mornings tests! Woke up with extreme nausea thought I was gonna puke, immediately tested. Here's the results!

I have period like cramps and had a bit of spotting when wiping after FMU, after CP last month don't want to get my hopes up. The lines are super faint..🤞🏼

I think I can see something on the second one! Congrats and I hope the lines get darker over the next few days!

@Midnight00 ahh I see. The CB ones recommend FMU but I’ve also read you can get your peak around 2 o’clock so when I got a headache on Friday I tested in the afternoon and got my peak.

Hope I can join ♥️ TTC #1, sadly had a mc in July so on our first cycle trying since then.

That pregnancy took 8 cycles so praying it won't take as long this time 🙏🏻

Currently aprox 8DPO, anyone at a similar stage in their cycle?

It's not even been a whole year yet but I feel like we've been TTC forever 🥱

@ttcbaby12023 ohhh sorry to hear about the nausea but also sounds like a promising sign! Keep testing and see what happens.

@Mariabombia Welcome 🙂I'm so sorry to hear about your MC that must have been so tough after waiting 8 months too. This is my 4th Cycle and approx 6/7DPO and I feel like I've been trying forever!

Hows is everyone doing? Feeling so chilled about this cycle but just don't think we DTD enough at the right time!!

I've started looking ahead towards Christmas, I have this cycle and 2 more before December, and starting to think if I don't get a BFP before I might skip a cycle so I can at least have a drink etc over Christmas

Thank you @TTC2022newbie, it was honestly one of the most painful experiences of our lives. We will never be the same again but we are really ready to be parents so have started ttc again this month.

Bless you ttc is such a difficult process , it's like whiplash every month it doesn't happen! I'm just staying as chill as possible & enjoying the things I couldn't when I was pregnant, plenty of time to stress when I get pregnant again 😬

@Mariabombia I'm hoping to wait until I'm over due until testing.
I have lots of cheap tests and only one clear blue so I'll hold off as long as possible before using the clear blue!

I'm kinda in the mind set, either AF arrives or I test when I'm over due giving a more accurate reading.

I can't imagine what a MC must be like. I've not had a BFP yet so to get it and loose it is so tough. I'm so sorry! 🤞 For the next BFP soon and to still around 🙂😘

I've just ordered some cheap easy@home strips, I've never used them before but my plan is to test on Thursday (I'm due about Sunday) then if I'm late I'll buy a FRER or clear blue.

Yes I’m now in the TWW @TTC2022newbie - I’m also going to take your approach and have a break over Christmas if it’s doesn’t happen by then, as I want to enjoy it and not limit myself just to be disappointed again xx

Hi everyone. Can I join? Also TTC number 1. I’m 34 and DP is 38. We’re on cycle 5 now with a CP on cycle 2 and nothing the last couple of cycles 😕.

Im using cheap OPKs this cycle and on CD 12 today. I have been having short cycles with the last two 24 and 21 days so expecting to ov soon although nothing on OPK as yet!

lots of you seem to be around the same stage so hopefully we can get through TWW together!

I have a short cycle too. It was 21 days for like a year. But this year has been all over the place, particularly with TTC so I'm anything from 21 to 27 days.

We just try and DTD every other day or every day instead of OPKs but maybe one day I'll need to use them.
