Hey guys, looking for some cycle partners to chat with!

How are you all feeling? I’m 3 dpo now and not many symptoms but it's early.

Slight niggling cramp this morning. Tiny amount of EWCM. Cervix position is high, soft and closed.

Had a chemical pregnancy last cycle but feeling very positive this cycle and wishing baby dust to all!

Hey @Recordedsnape sorry to hear that you had a chemical last month. Hoping September will bring you some good news! Are your symptoms usual for you?

I'm 5dpo first cycle TTC. I used the CB digital OPK but not holding out too much for the first month. I have had cramping and back pain but these are usual symptoms for me 🙂 xx

This cycle has been a bit strange, I'm also using CB digital OPK, I've had 2 peaks. But I think the first one I didn't actually ovulate (I'm not temping). A week later I got high fertility for 2 days then my peak, and I had cramping with EWCM. So I'm going with that one.

Those symptoms could still be good sign tho!

When will you start testing? I always try to wait till near AF but I can't help myself and start about 8dpo 🙈🙈 xx

@Recordedsnape that sounds promising! Maybe you had a double peak this month. Do you track your BBT too? I've not started doing this yet but thinking about it for my next cycle.

I have some CB 6 day early tests but I've ordered some online cheapies and FRERs too. What tests do you use?

I'm going to try my best and hold off until AF due if I can although I am probably overestimating my ability to hang on for so long 😆 xx

I don't do BBT so no way of knowing when I truly ovulated but my gut is telling me the 2nd peak xx

Are the CB digital OPKs quite accurate? It seemed to pick up when I ovulated this month I think - I had three days flashy smiley followed by the static smiley xx

I've found them reliable for when I've ovulated just with my usual symptoms, and we did get pregnant last month using them but just didn't stick.

Fingers crossed for us!!! Hopefully we both get our BFP xx

I'm also 3DPO today. Going to try to not test early this cycle but then I say that every month and fail miserably!

@Cegbee I'm same as you lol I tested 3 dpo today knowing it would be bfn as probably not even implanted 😅 just want it so much xx

@Lexlum I'm feeling fine physically - no different, I just get so anxious during the TWW and I'm sick of feeling like this for 2 weeks of every 4!

@Recordedsnape I guess, if you're going to test early might as well go all in! Sorry you're feeling anxious too- I totally get it xx

@Cegbee the TWW is a horrible wait for sure. Sorry to hear you are feeling crap but completely understandable too. Hopefully the next two weeks will fly in. Sending lots of baby dust to you. Do you have much planned for the weekend to help keep your mind busy? Xx

I used easy at home ovulation tests- this is my first cycle trying to conceive. We’ve tried the SMEP to try and conceive this month. I’m already feeling very impatient and praying we get a positive result.
what’s the soonest you can do a pregnancy test? I’ve already bought some first response early results tests but know too soon to test now but not sure I can wait 2 weeks.

I didn't know about SMEP until today! Need to look into it a bit more.

Implantation takes place 6-12DPO - I don't think it is usual to test positive before then.

I'm hoping to wait until the end of next week before testing if I can hold out until then! Xx

Hey @Lexlum, how are you finding TTC? It’s like a whole new world haha! The unknown is the worst :/ I just wish we could get a text to say yes or no hahaha!

Ahh Thanks that’s good to know about the time it takes for implantation. I will try to hold off testing in that case until 10th September - will be tough as it’s all I can think about! Xx

@Ellbelll it's a little bit more daunting than I thought. I was quite naive beforehand - thought it would be the case of BD'ing a few times and that would do the trick 😅

Think I've spent the last 5 days scouring the internet and reading this forum! I'm not the most patient person so that won't help!! How are you finding things?

@Rosiearthur definitely, I haven't told anyone that we are TTC so it nice to be able to talk to people on here who are in same position! I know, I'm not sure if I will be able to wait it out either! Are you TTC with your first? Xx

@Lexlum Yes I haven’t told anyone I’m TTC either! We’re TTC first so it’s all very new and exciting.
I’ve been planning to TTC this month for ages - wanted to get a pre-booked holiday over first - and now that’s done. In the time I’ve been waiting to start TTC read lots of forums and did research so that’s how I heard about SMEP - involves lots of BD’ing. If we’re not successful this month I’m not sure we’d have the energy to do the plan again!!! 🤣🤣x

I'm currently 5dpo, 3 cycles in and used opks for the first time this month so hoping that has upped my chances.

It's shocking how much time I have spent this week thinking about which day I'm gonna test on, I've already conceeded that I was be testing early. Is 9dpo too early to test do we think?

@Beentheredunnthat I think 9dpo you could defo get a bfp as I've seen so many others but also if its bfn then it is still early days xx

Baby dust to us all! I'm just hoping as the days pass to start having some symptoms. I've no CM now and the niggling cramp this morning hasn't came back.

is it just me that feels like 2 different people. There’s the me pre ovulation who’s like ‘if it happens it happens, I’ll test when I’m due on’ and then there’s the me after ovulation that’s Googling everything and counting down the seconds until 10dpo so I can test early

@Rosiearthur haha, I might give SMEP a go at some point! Although not sure I would be able to keep up with all the BD'ing!

@Beentheredunnthat I agree with @Recordedsnape - a BFP is possible at 9DPO, although it can be a little early for a lot of people.

@Recordedsnape snap! The symptoms I had the first couple of days disappeared yesterday too. I read that early symptoms are more likely to be rising levels of progesterone after ovulation. It seems to be quite common not to have symptoms at all during and after implantation! Not particularly helpful for us when we are hyper alert lol.

@Bparb Haha yep! I seem to go from one extreme to another in the same day, it's a bit of a rollercoaster for sure! Xx

I had to get up twice to pee last night which isn't normal for me, I know it's still really early but just noting anything that's out of norm.

Wish I could be more chill in the TWW and think of something other than when I can test and do I have any symptoms. Exciting though that statistically there could be a few BFP's waiting to happen in this group.
