Anyone else here back in the TWW around this time? My TWW started 27th Aug and I'm in need of some company!

This is cycle #9 for us now so really hoping this is the one 🤞🏻

I see it @ForeverMrsK ! It looks kind of pink too? How many DPO did you say you were sorry?

@JaneGnR88 I'm 14 DPO today. I don't know, sometimes I feel like I see it but others not so much. DH swore he absolutely can't see anything. Will wait tomorrow and try again hopeful AF doesn't arrive in the mean time.

@Foreverhopeful92 thanks lovely he’s all good we’re now home, a broken hand but could have been a lot worse!! Looking forward to some down time and not thinking about TTC for a bit. Sucks we were both trolled by easy@home!! Will be way more cautious next time. You’re stIll early though!! Keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

Morning Ladies,

Another update but not one I wanted. A bit TMI (sorry).

So yesterday I had a lot of cramping then last night before bed when I wiped I had blood on the tissue it was a fair amount and it was pinkish blood.

I thought "that's it" my AF has arrived but when I woke up I thought what if its implantation bleeding so I took a test.

Again vvvvv faint (attached below). I was starting to feel hopeful again sigh. I then went out for a walk. Still getting cramps constantly, I went to use the bathroom and this time when I wiped the blood was just RED as in deep red so I'm pretty sure it's AF making a grand entrance 😂.

So annoying though because the test had given me hope. Can anyone else see the faint line that fooled me?

I'm not going to put myself through this again and will just test till after ive missed my period xx

I don’t trust any test atm, and I’m defo the same as you and going to wait it out as long as possible next time! I did another easy @ home
this morning and can still see very faint lines!

AF here for me ladies! Feel relived that I can stop stressing and it’s a normal length cycle for me which gives me hope ✨🤞

i thought I’d check in and see how you are all doing?
I’m in my TWW (I think) but didn’t use OPKs for the whole of my cycle as been away and didn’t want to be doing the tests while I was away so no idea what DPO I am.
Going purely by Flo im 7 DPO with period due next Tuesday but there is every possibility I’m less than that or more so struggling to decide when to test! After never having issues with easy@home tests before and then always staying stark white I got well and truly burnt last cycle with an evap/indent so that’s also making me reluctant to test.
My plan is to hold out until earliest Friday I think when according to Flo I’ll be 10 dpo but if I can hold on longer I might try!

No real symptoms so far except sore boobs but since TTC and becoming more aware of my body, I have sore boobs every month after ovulation so it doesn’t mean anything I don’t think.

I’m 9DPO today and AF due next Tuesday too… I was trying to wait until 10DPO to test but I’m debating on whether to start today… arg can’t decide!!

My only symptoms have been periodic mild heartburn/acid reflux, like there’s a lump in my throat… never had it before. Have no sore boobs (normally do) and I’ve been taking naps for the past few days but that’s normal for me in the luteal phase. Feeling hopeful this month but also trying not to get hopes up too much… x

Ooh fingers crossed @pixiecircle that sounds like very positive news! What cycle is this for you? Are you TTC baby #1?

Deciding to test is so hard. I think if I knew 100% what dpo I was it would be hard to resist testing but because I don’t know in a way it’s easier to ignore the urge to test for now. Flo says 8 dpo so I’m going to try and hold out until Friday or Saturday! 🙈

Let me know if you decide to test! I think from 10 dpo is always tempting!

We were so unfortunate last month with our evaps I still can’t believe it :( I hope we both have good news this month xxx

Yes that’s true about not knowing, keep us updated! I did actually cave this morning, which was obviously a BFN… I just had to scratch the itch so I can hopefully get on with my day 🙈 will be away this weekend so that makes things a bit easier.

@pixiecircle Sorry to hear that it’s coming up to 2 years, I can’t even begin to imagine how difficult that must be! Sending hugs your way!!
Have you managed to get any support from your doctor? I know some people who have had some great support.

TTC #1 for me too. We’re cycle 7 of no contraception but cycle 5 of properly tracking and trying, which is not long at all really but I think I naively just thought it would happen straight away! I didn’t know anything about all the statistics each month and the short fertile window etc until we actually started trying xx

@Foreverhopeful92 I know!!! I really had no clue, and feel somewhat robbed of that education… after a year of trying I started opening up to friends about it to spread more awareness.

thanks so much xx I have had all the prelim tests with GP and he’s referred us on to the fertility clinic for more tests, but haven’t heard anything yet. So much of this is just waiting.. 🙈🙈

Hoping for some good news for us both this weekend! I think we hear of so many people getting their BFP early that we expect to get it early too but all my friends who’ve conceived didn’t get their BFP until either the day AF was due or late so we shouldn’t give up hope until AF arrives xx

@Foreverhopeful92 I'm currently 10dpo. Have been sent for blood tests by my dr to check that I am actually ovulating and to see if there's anything that shows up as to why we haven't been successful yet. Not at all hopeful about this cycle, but I guess we'll see in the next few days!

We are TTC #1. On 12 months of no contraception but only been properly tracking since beginning of the year, so now on cycle 10 of tracking.

I know what you mean with lack of knowledge until you actually start trying, I think it something we should all be taught about in school! I get why they avoid it, I guess it's to try to scare kids into not risking unprotected sex...

@pixiecircle when were you referred? We're just starting our tests so hoping it's not too much of a wait after that 🤞🏻

@TinyDancer91 sorry to hear that it is taking a while for you and your partner! It really is such a difficult process physically and emotionally! I honestly didn’t expect it to be like this at all.

I agree - definitely learnt a lot about TTC on this journey and also about my body! Amazing how much I notice now that I didn’t before.

@Foreverhopeful92 thanks so much 💖 haha yess, all the stats and common sense point to majority of BFPs coming later, but we get so used to hearing the 8/9DPO positives!! I've only got a couple of friends with children, and they were all by accident — I literally did think unprotected sex = pregnant 🤦‍♀️

@TinyDancer91 I was told GP put in our referral after my final test results (for chlamydia, which I had no idea was a part of the eligibility criteria) which arrived on 2nd September. I've not yet had any confirmation but I'll update here once I hear back!

The 12 month mark was a difficult milestone for us, hope you're okay!! Have you had your day 21 bloods? Good luck with your tests!!
