Ok second thread for those of us that are still TTC an April baby.

I am CD12 so still got a bit of a wait yet...Not even at the TWW yet.

Fingers crossed this is a lucky thread for us all ✨

OK, forgive me but I'm about to ask a really dumb question....

If I started my last AF on 10th July (CD1) and I expect to get my next AF on 7th August... How many days long is my cycle? 4 weeks is 28 days but 10th to 7th is 29 days.

I've legitimately lost my mind. Please send help 🙈

@J1290 congratulations!! How close to ovulation did you DTD?

Tropicana i think the day before roughly! Ewcm night before dtd the following afternoon and two days got more ewcm and it was getting less each day then it went.
So deffo caught the right time.
got preggo first cycle last time too.

@CDD1992 Sorry you're having a hard time. I feel the same. Cycle was only 25 days last month. It's usually 27/8. Got to CD30 yesterday and was convinced something was happening with all the 'symptoms' I was having but woke up to AF this morning. Feel really gutted as that is long for me and I had convinced myself it had worked. Trying to console myself with the fact that it will be a bit better financially as DS will at least be closer to getting free hours and I'd prefer not to have another so close to his birthday anyway. I work with someone who is approaching third trimester and I'm happy for her, but it just reminds me what I'm missing.

@Nichelette im sorry your AF arrived but I admire you for taking the positives from this situation ✨ I'll be keeping everything crossed for you this cycle. The fact I'm feeling so emotional only tells me AF is coming, I cried at a dog on Tiktok yesterday which told me everything 🙈 I've resigned myself to a BFN this month and have ordered a Chinese to console myself 😂

@CDD1992 dont throw in the towel just yet! until AF is here, it could still be a BFP
@J1290 congratulations again! so surprising that you got a BFN on the day of a missed period. Gives me hope :D

@NatGee i know you're right. I'm always do so hopeful and always met with a BFN so if I'm less hopeful maybe I'll get a surprise BFP! Reverse psychology and all that 😂

@CDD1992 you're still in with a shot so don't write yourself off yet 😊. It took us a year with DS and it happened literally when I was on the verge of going to the doctor thinking something was up

@Orangesaretheonly thanks. It's only our second month of proper trying so I can't be too downbeat. Was mostly annoying because I was unusually late and let myself start thinking maybe, but never mind x

@Nichelette I think we all get a little bit too excited. Cycle #1 I was CONVINCED we were pregnant, omg haha silly silly me. Symptom watching is very exhausting. difficult not to get hopeful. Baby dust!!

@NatGee Yep. Sooo easy to do. Who decided that pregnancy symptoms are so similar to PMS?!? 😂

I’m driving myself mad at the moment, I’m finding this TWW so tough, I know you shouldn’t symptom spot as could be PMS etc etc but I was CONVINCED I am pregnant, silly of me really. I’m 10DPO today and a BFN on a FRER this morning which has put me in a horrible mood and left me wondering if I am going insane? Since D7DPO I have felt a on/off nausea all day long and a really sore lower back… I never get nausea or a bad back with AF symptoms, today i’m having cramps and ‘lightening’ crotch… but I’m thinking is this AF coming now??(i’m due Tuesday), I dont usually get AF cramps until the day of or maybe the day before but maybe it’s coming early?? Or could this be implantation?
but I also don’t want to get my hopes up… i’m so up and down right now! Hats off to the ladies who have been at this a while! Its tough!

@Londonlady22 my sister in law tried for six years. I cannot even begin to think what that must have been like. I'm the same, TTC cycle #2 now and i got the same symptoms: bloating (never happens), cramps, slight nausea a couple of days ago.... Got a BFN yesterday and today although i'm not entirely sure of the my DPO as I never did an ovulation test (we were on holiday and i left all my strips home) I'm either 10 or 14.... Will you be testing again?

@NatGee I can’t even imagine how hard it must be. I have 3 FRERs and a digi and a few cheapies, so I will most probably test again tomorrow, fully expecting a BFN despite the weird symptoms…. If i’m still getting a BFN this weekend I imagine I’m out..

8 dpo and the TWW just drives me Insane, stupidly did a test and now just feel the dread over coming me again.
I just want to see those two lines so badly 🤞

6dpo symptom spotting: sore tingly nipples, headache and increase in cm my chart is a sad situation. Won't test until 9dpo

Ugh I think I'm out. Started spotting on Thursday at only 9dpo 🙄 bloody annoying (excuse the pun!). LP is getting shorter!! Shame, I even had symptoms this month.... Obviously not my time, it never is 😂 spent most the evening out with work colleagues talking about all their children which hasn't exactly helped my mood. Sorry for the moan!

@Londonlady22 ill do the same, wait for the weekend. fingers crossed!

like the daggers u get whrn pregnant but milder and the lower back pain too. Good luck! Kinds wish id tested earlier but was sure i was out!!

@J1290 congratulations! What DPO did you get your BFP! You must have been over the moon! Thats interesting you got the daggers down there, thats a gd way to describe them… maybe it’s a sign, time will tell!

Im sure i ovulated cd14/15 ewcm dtd the day after
had two more days of ewcm and then my period day was yesterday. So roughly 13/14 dpo and nice strong test!

Sorry yes I meant Saturday too! Can't keep my days straight at the moment...
